I went there for a massage without any pain, just to get a massage. I came out sore and with back pain. While I was getting the massage I though maybe massages are supposed to be painful but boy I was wrong! I asked for a refund, no one ever got back to me. Will never go back.

Dr. Herb diagnosed me as having a bakers cyst behind my left knee. So he set me up with a plan to see their pt twice a week. I was on my second to last visit ( I had already been to pt 7 times already) when they offered me a surgical mask to wear. I declined telling them that I could not breathe in those mask with my asthma. I had my mask on which is the only mask I could find that worked for me.

I told the doctor as well as the staff that I had asthma and had a hard time breathing in masks to begin with. The next day I get a call from them to tell me my options. The first option was if I was V. I said I wasn't which they should of already knew given that I spent a good hour listening to their Naturalpathic doctor tell me why I should get the V!

So my next option was to wear the surgical mask to see if indeed it bothered my asthma enough I could switch back to my mask. Let's stop there because this clinic not only makes me wait in my car if the lobby is full, they take my temperature, and check my oxygen level before each appointment! They didn't give me much of an option to finish out my care plan, so all appointments were canceled.

I had my first acupuncture appointment last week (Tues October 20th 2020) as I walked it I felt welcomed and greeted by the receptionist she was wonderful! When my appointment time arrived I was taken care of by amber she did an outstanding job asking me questions about what back/leg pains I was dealing with ( I've had acupuncture done before a few years ago ) so I was completely relaxed and it was a beautiful time I would highly recommend absolute wellness at Oakway center for your physical therapy needs it's a caring environment A plus!

I've been coming here on and off for a few years and have had wonderful experiences here lately. I agree that a few years ago the front desk staff wasn't always the friendliest, but the last few visits I've had have been professional and warm. Dr. Herb is super knowledgeable and takes the time to show genuine concern for not just your injury but you as a person, and he has always been willing to take the time to answer questions. It's always refreshing to have health care providers take the time to make you feel informed and comfortable, and in my experience Dr. Herb has always done that. I've been in for spinal adjustments, tissue work and physical therapy and would recommend all of these services.

If you had a poor experience here in the past, I'd encourage you to go back in. Every business has hiccups when they are first starting and I really feel that this business has made great improvements (not that my previous customer-service experiences were ever horrible, they are just more notably warm now). Also, they are doing a good job with COVID precautions, so you should feel safe to visit!

This is a very well run office with exceptionally competent doctors and staff. I had many interactions and treatments done here to help with a torn disc and tendonitis and all I can say is wow! Every single time I came in the visit was top notch. Appointments ran on time and everyone was professional and friendly. The diagnosis and therapy was spot on.

My husband also received excellent treatment for his problems. I know how challenging a medical office can be to run and my hat goes off to Dr Herb and Whitney for running a smooth operation. I would strongly recommend this office and gladly give it five stars! Thank you for treating me and my husband so well. Monica Garnache, DMD

I highly recommend Absolute Wellness Center to anyone who has had a bad experience with other chiropractors. My husband has been suffering from chronic back issues for years, and had an excruciating flare up, lasting days. The receptionist was able to get him in the next morning, and Dr. Beckerman and Andy(unsure of her name?) the medical assistant, were both so empathetic, helpful, and explained everything thoroughly.

In spite of prior horrible experiences that left him hesitant to seek chiropractic help, my husband was super comfortable, and left the office feeling better than he has in a long time, nearly pain free. Dr. Brandon Beckerman is an excellent doctor. He has a great bedside manner, explains everything he's doing and why he's doing it, and is very informative, intelligent, and descriptive.

First appointment set up by Whitney for 4:20pm. The day before my appointment Sarah called to confirm my appointment at 4:20. I show up at 4:05 to fill out new patient paperwork since everyone knows to show up 15 minutes early on your first appointment. Waited until about 4:40 before I asked Sarah what was going and why was the Dr so late. She proceeded to tell me that my appointment isn't scheduled until 4:40.

This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have a CPR class already scheduled and paid for at 5:30. However, I waited until 5pm before I was taken to the back room by a medical assistant. She told me that the initial appointment would take 35-45 minutes which I did not have anymore. Point of this rant is that they have no respect for their patients time and did not even apologize for the fact that the Dr was running 20 minutes late, or that they forgot to mention that they scheduled me at the wrong time.what they did was blame it on the new staff members. Typical scapegoat that incompetent front desk staff like to use quite frequently. Will not recommend this establishment to anyone!

The front desk staff has repeatedly made scheduling errors, literally every time I've tried to schedule. They also made me jump through so many unnecessary hoops just to get on their books for the first time as a new patient. Their lack of organization and poor listening and communication skills have affected my ability to get the care that I truly needed in a timely manner.

My acupuncturist, Margy, on the other hand was lovely. But it's unfortunate that a patient's ability to receive care is dependent upon the front desk staff, which has proven inadequate. I hope they address this issue. From what's I've read, it seems I'm not the only one who has had a frustrating experience with their staff.

Horrible. They (Katie)? waited 20 days to send out my post operation physical therapy authorization. I don't even need therapy now since trillium has 2 weeks to authorize it. Do not go here if you need help because you will not get it.

I've had three different injuries treated at Absolute Wellness Center over the last five years and I feel very fortunate to have found them. Dr. Herb is extremely knowledgeable and incorporates a personal approach, spending time with his patients asking and answering questions to make sure everyone is on the same page. Jeff, the Athletic Trainer, not only developed an effective recovery program, but also designed one that meshed with my existing workout plan and fitness goals. I enjoy my visits and I'm very pleased with the results. Thank you.

I'm so glad I ended up being treated by Dr. Herb and his staff. I injured my back and went for PT treatment at 2 other practices. Both practices and my PCP misdiagnosed me with a "bulging disc" after they read the MRI report. A little over a month after my injury and still no for sure game plan on fixing my back. I was referred to the Absolute Wellness Center, where Dr. Herb was the first to actually look at the images and see that the "bulging disc" was actually a badly herniated disc.

It was drooping down the side of my spine slowly killing a nerve in my leg. How did the other doctors miss that! Dr. Herb did his homework reviewing the MRI report and images before I showed up. So he could give me concrete answers and options for surgery and treatment. I could tell he took pride in his profession. He also has the best bed side manner I've ever scene in a doctor, always ending the conversation with "are there any other questions that you had?" Giving you the opportunity to mention anything that you might have forgot.

After a successful surgery I followed up with Dr. Herb for physical therapy. He handed me off to Jeff one of the physical therapist there. Jeff was also great! He was always in a good mood and knew a lot about backs and how they work. He taught me how to use proper mechanics when bending and lifting. And he knew little tricks to train me when I was having a hard time doing an exercise right. Jeff and Dr. Herb both played a part in my road to recovery. I can't thank them enough.

My doctor was pushing me towards a surgical solution (for frozen shoulder). I was not keen on that, so I asked Dr Herb (my wife was seeing him for something unrelated, which is how I found him). He was honest, helpful, very kind. Clearly ever-so knowledgeable. The help I have received has been awesome, I would happily recommend him to anyone! But its not just the good doctor - you can tell when a place is well run and happy - everyone from reception to billing is nice, genuinely happy to help, always glad to see you.

You feel very well cared for. And if that is not enough, the office mascot is a pug! Now, even as a dog lover, I am not a huge fan of pugs, but he is just so cute! Usually out of the way, and often not even in the building, sometimes he is there. I think he works security, I have never had an examination or adjustment from him, but he, like the rest of the team, is always pleased to see me!

I went there for back issues. Dr Herb told me that with chiropractic care and PT he could fix my back. 3 months later I was still going without my pain going away. He kept telling me NOT to be discouraged, just a few more weeks. Finally after an incident at work where I messed up my back more I stopped going. My main issue though is he told me I had to do PT for my back to get better.

Being on a strict budget I asked how much it would be, she said "insurance would pay 80%" so I would only have to pay 20%. When I got my bill it was over $500. I asked what was going on, they told me "oh, well they pay 80% AFTER you pay your deductible" would have been nice information to have don't you think?! Now I have a huge bill with nothing to show for it.

I called and tried to work it out but they don't care, all they care about is getting their money. I would discourage anyone from going here. The lady I talked to today was rude and inconsiderate, had they been willing to work with me or cut the bill down to a decent amount I would have paid it without the need to write a review.

I just had my first appointment with Dr Herb yesterday. I have to say I am impressed. I have had problems with my left arm, like a stabbing, debilitating pain but no heart problems to speak of at all. It radiates up into my neck and shoulders and leaves tingling in my hands. I have seen 2 primary care physicians and another chiropractor regarding this issue and they all had no clue what was going on and unable to diagnose me since 2013.

I was referred by my insurance and I'm glad they did because Dr Herb was able to diagnose me by doing some simple tests on my limbs (which no one ever did before) and explained my condition and treatment in terms I could understand. The assistant who took care of me was also friendly as were all of the office staff. I will be going back for physical therapy and looking forward to it :)

I had suffered a series of sports related injuries that were causing me a great deal of pain and were reducing my strength and range of motion. I was concerned that I was going to have to give up Jiu Jitsu, a sport that I was obsessed with, and potentially spend a fortune on treatment. I tried a chiropractic clinic next to my office and they gave me a quick adjustment and sent me on my way.

Although the adjustment felt great for a couple hours, the approach didn't seem like anything that would lead to recovery. I was seriously messed up. Then I found Absolute Wellness Center. Not only was Dr. Michael Herb able to determine exactly what was wrong with me, he was also personally familiar with the sport in which I had been injured.

The severity of my injuries required that I get massage therapy and physical therapy. Not just back popping, magic crystals, woo woo and incense. This was real stuff. For about a month the highlight of my week was the massage therapy by Kelly. She did a great job of walking that thin line between painful and productive. The atmosphere was perfect and I felt amazing after every session.

I felt sorry for people who weren't injured like I was. Gradually my treatment changed to a focus on physical therapy. As someone who has been studying fitness and weightlifting for over twenty years, I felt like I was in good hands with Amanda and Victoria. They knew what they were doing and got me on a program that produced results. Everyone I met with at Absolute Wellness Center was someone that I would want to hang out with.

On top of that, I am fully recovered and have a more resilient body than I had prior to my injury. I'm glad that I have a team of professionals that can take care of me as I push my limits in a potentially dangerous sport.

AMAZING! I've been putting off seeing the chiropractor because the thought of someone messing with my back terrifies me. Finally, the pain was worse than my fear. Dr. Herb was great- he did one adjustment and relieved a ton of pain & stiffness. He explained everything he was doing and put my fears at ease. My regular dr had me going to physical therapy for months. I saw Dr. Herb twice and felt much better!

I have gotten 3-4 treatments from Dr. Herb for various issues, and all have been very effective. The doctor is very thorough and very skilled. The follow up massage from Kelly Simons really helped as well. I intended to return for more treatments and massage, but since I felt so good, I haven't been back! The office staff is friendly and helpful.

On my first visits, they scheduled me for a same day appointment, while other chiropractors made me wait, or required a meet and greet before treatment. They handled all the insurance billing without any problem. I recommend Dr. Herb without hesitation.

Not your typical chiropractic office. I was treated kindly and professionally from the first phone call to schedule an appointment to my exam with Dr. Herb. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. It's a very welcoming environment when you walk in, and so family oriented, especially with the office dog to greet you. Dr. Herb is very thorough and completely explained my condition and answered all my questions.

His "bedside manner" is superb, he really takes his time to make sure you feel comfortable with his diagnosis and treatment. While I hope I stay well, I can also say I do look forward to returning as needed. Great place!

I'm so happy I found this place! Dr. Herb is a wonderful chiropractor who believes in treating your symptoms and then giving you the tools and support to treat yourself on your own. Having been to several chiropractors in town who do not share this view, I can tell you that Dr. Herb is definitely unique in this way. Dr Herb is very knowledgeable and friendly.

His staff is wonderful and they create a warm and comfortable environment. I've genuinely enjoyed my visits to the AWC the past few weeks. What's particularly unique about Absolute Wellness Center is the number of services that are offered. Chiropractic care, physical therapy (with a great little gym area), acupuncture, message therapy, and wellness coaching, all in one place make it an excellent resource for all aspects of rehabilitation or relaxation.
