Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient healing art that has been practiced for thousands of years. It has it's roots deeply planted in China and Taoism. More people have been treated with acupuncture than any other form of treatment in the time of history. Acupuncture is a very safe and effective treatment that is used to treat illness, prevent disease, and improve health/well-being. Very small, hair-thin needles are inserted into specific points in the body, where they are gently stimulated to elicit the body's natural healing response. Acupuncture is effective for controlling pain and can regulate the body's physiological functions to treat various internal dysfunction and disorders.

I want you to know I was able to sleep for the first night and breathe. No stuffy nose. I also woke up for the first time in about 2 months with no sinus headache or migraine during the day. My first acupuncture treatment was a fantastic success!

Customer Testimonials

Dr. Kim Yoo cares so much about her patients and making them well again. She treats you as a person, and not just your symptoms. She has helped me in ways that my MD never could. Seeing her is the best gift I ever gave myself! Life changing treatment!

I started seeing Dr. David Yoo 8 months ago, mainly for help with chronic, debilitating migraines. Since that time, I have had only one migraine and my daily nuisance headaches are all but gone. Additionally, he has helped me reduce my stress level and worked on sports related injuries. Dr. Yoo is extremely professional and very accommodating!

My son and I have been patients of Dr. Kim Yoo and Dr. David Yoo for over four years. Our treatments of commons colds, allergies, etc... To treatment of a ruptured disc and post surgery have been so beneficial to our overall well-being. The support staff is always courteous and professional. My overall health and well-being has been enhanced by our acupuncture treatment thatI encourage anyone to seek treatment to improve their quality of life! Thanks Kim and David for taking such care with us!

This place is amazing! I've been coming here for 8 or 9 years now, and have yet to see a more powerful treatment than Acupuncture. The past 3 1/2 years I've been in Los Angeles and only get to come in to see Dr. Yoo a few times a year when returning home. Being on the west coast I've seen other acupuncturists when needed and I can honestly say that Dr. Yoo is THE BEST. She treats the whole person and looks at all aspects of your lifestyle, habits and emotions that could be affecting your health. Being treated here has been one of the most powerful things I've ever done, and it's affected my life in ways beyond any aches and pains or health complaints. Whenever anyone tells me of a problem they might be having with their health, Dr. Yoo is always the #1 recommendation I give. Definitely try this out, book a few sessions and see for yourself.

I see Dr Kim to help regulate my hormones and boost my immune system. It always amazes me how quickly Dr Kim can get me balanced, energized, and feeling great. I highly recommend Dr Kim!!

From Our Website

It is common and natural to feel apprehension when first considering acupuncture treatment - after all, we are going to stick you with needles! What you may not be aware of is that those needles are incredibly thin and if you feel any discomfort at all it will feel like a slight pinch and only for a second or two. Once the needles are placed a sense of calm and relaxation occurs, allowing the mind and body to heal. This is not a treatment that requires many sessions to begin to feel an improvement - we expect relief within 1-3 treatments and reassess with the goal of maintenance at that point.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a complete medical system that has been used to diagnose, treat, and prevent illnesses for more than 2,000 years. TCM is based on a belief in yin and yang, defined as opposing energies, such as earth and heaven, winter and summer, and happiness and sadness. When yin and yang are in balance, you feel relaxed and energized. Out of balance, however, yin and yang negatively affect your health. No matter what your presenting signs and symptoms are, the goal in TCM is balance, or harmony.
