As a licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Texas, Dr. Qin has 38 years of clinical experience. In 1983, she received her M.D. Degree from Luoyang Medical University in China. She studied both Western and Acupuncture Chinese medicine. After becoming an M.D in China, she practiced extensively as an internist in the Emergency Room, Medical Clinic, and Hospital in Henan, China and Berlin, Germany.
Dr. Qin is a preferred provider of most health insurance. If your insurance plan covers acupuncture we will file your claims on your behalf. You just pay your co-payment at the time of your visit. It is your responsibility to pay for your treatment before you meet your deductibles, and any denied claims for your treatment.
What is acupuncture? Acupuncture is a healing modality that inserts fine needles into specific points to promote natural healing and improve function. It has the ability to alter various biochemical and physiological conditions in order to treat a wide variety of illnesses, strengthen the immune system, prevent disease and achieve longevity.
She is intuitive, knows medicine, the human body, both physical and mental, and you will see results. She has assisted me with my pain from MS, and recently I saw her for severe tremors. By the time I was home from the treatment, my hands were 70-80% far more steady. It takes effort on your part, since acupuncture is as good as you feed and treat your body; but, Dr. Qin provides the highest quality acupuncture in Austin, TX.bar none!

To date, I have had 5 sessions with Dr Qin and cannot recommend her enough. My first session was also my first time receiving acupuncture - I appreciated how she took time to explain the process before commencing. She is incredibly attentive and always takes time to answer any questions I have in great detail (I've never felt like she's in a rush or not acknowledging my concerns as I have felt with doctors in other settings).
In follow-up appts, she's taken the time to look over my general health panel and allergy testing results and also elaborated on certain results in a very easy to understand way. Her years of experience and knowledge of both Traditional Chinese and Western medicine are quite evident! I arrive at each session feeling relaxed because of how genuinely caring Dr Qin is and I leave feeling even more relaxed because of the acupuncture treatment itself!

Dr Qin is nice and seems knowledgable however I didn't feel my first visit to be as effective. I have had acupuncture done before from a different provider which was just another level compared to what I got from Dr Qin. My session with her was not nearly half effective. My suggestion to all, please try a couple of places and then choose.

Dr Qin is a phenomenal acupuncturist! She's so knowledgeable and every appointment is relaxing and joyful- she's great to be around and that's important. When I saw her I was so imbalanced and her weekly treatments helped me rebalance overall and get to a better place physically and mentally actually. Our physical wellbeing playa a huge part of mental well-being too. Don't hesitate to call and make an appointment!

I have been seeing Dr. Qin for over a year. She is amazing! Very kind and professional. After my first visit I felt a difference in my shoulder pain. I can tell the difference now when I don't go. I had been to a different acupuncture clinic down south and unlike them, Dr. Qin has never tried to force treatment or supplements on me. I appreciate her so much!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Qin. I went to her based on her excellent reviews and her expertise in Chinese medicine. She has a spectacular bedside manner, is soothing, calming, and makes you feel completely comfortable. She explains how all of the body systems work in conjunction with each other, and how the acupuncture treats that.
My teenager is being treated for anxiety, insomnia, and ADHD. She loves Dr. Qin and feels very close to her already. Dr. Qin always is happy to answer any question and explain anything at all. We are so grateful to have found her.

Dr. Qin is by far the most professional, the most knowledgeable, and the best acupuncturist Central Texas has practicing. She will listen, and she will provide a treatment that is effective. I can say this because I have MS, and she has helped to maintain my pain levels from escalating and has helped a reduction in my tremors. Recently, due to a move, I have seen another acupuncturist.
Big mistake! She not only helps you with wellness, but she sees you as a person, as a friend. This is who you want to help you along the way to a better quality of life. No one in Austin will I recommend, but Dr. Qin.

I have seen Dr. Qin for several sessions and she has also been providing acupuncture for a friend. She is absolutely fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is professional, takes care to be very hygienic, and most importantly, helps to cure numerous medical problems. She is particularly good at treating issues that are not effectively treated with western medicine, such as asthma, allergies, and circulatory problems.
With her background in both Chinese and western medicine, I feel confident that she knows when to use traditional Chinese approaches and when western approaches are more appropriate. Go see Dr. Qin, she is excellent.

Dr. Qin was reffered to me by someone who's allergies and asthma were treated successfully. Dr. Qin has a background in ER. Her treatments are the best of West and East and her attention to detail is exceptional. I have been treated for significant back and knee pain successfully in as few as one session I can go back to work. A true clinical professional I can strongly recommend. I've sent my staff, colleagues and family members with great success for chornic and injury conditions. Changed my mind about acupuncture. Great respect for Dr. Qin.
