Dr. Barry seemed pretty serious when I first met him but really warmed up afterwards. The man knows what he's doing and is very honest about your prognosis. I came in for my workmen's comp injury and he advised me it may take the fourth visit to really see the results which basically is what happened! Go see him! NOW!

I spent the entire month of November going to see doctors trying to figure out what was wrong with me. The left side of my body would tingle and go numb with no explanation. The doctors said it was just stress that nothing could be done and not to think about it. Trying to to think about it made me over think and be looking for things I didn't feel the day before.
It wasn't until seeing Dr. Barry that he was able to right away tell me what was wrong and put my mind at ease. He is very caring and knows just how to explain things to you. I would go in every time with a symptom I was sure was something else and he was able to break it down and explain things to me. I was able to spend my Christmas at peace enjoying myself without the constant symptoms.
After every appointment the symptoms would be less and less. Before going to Dr. Barry I couldn't sleep, now I sleep through the night. I never truly believed acupuncture would do the trick but after one time I am sure of the outcomes it can bring. I will always recommend people to Dr. Barry. I can't thank him enough!

I was a little apprehensive about going due to my fear of needles, but there was no pain with the treatment. Dr. Barry is an incredible healer. He's helped me with severe pain & swelling due to a few right ankle injuries, as well as pain in my back (sitting too long at desk job & long commute), neck (mild arthritis & stressful job), and right arm (tendonitis).
Side benefit for me - weight loss - 20 lbs over a few months, with a change in my diet, but no exercise. Dr. Barry's very compassionate, a great listener, and exudes integrity. I suggested my husband and my Mom see him for help with their pains as well. They did. My husband is extremely happy with his progress concerning his shoulder (bicipital tendonitis) and looks forward to every visit.
My Mom is in the middle of her first few treatments for bursitis in her knee. She's already experienced a side benefits of much better/longer sleep. I would highly recommend Dr Barry to anyone who has pain.

Love Dr. Barry! He is so caring and attentive, I feel like I'm his only patient of the day every visit. He has helped me so much with my infertility issues. Still no baby, but after doing acupuncture with him, my hormone levels improved the very first cycle and my doctor did not think that was possible! Now they've improved more each time I've gotten my blood-work done, so I'm going to get to do the procedure that my doctor had previously said I wasn't a good candidate for now, all because of Dr Barry!
My other friend has also gone to him for persistent headaches and anxiety and she says she feels like a different person, she can't believe how much it's helped. It is weird how it works, but I just know it works and I think it's because Dr Barry really knows what he's doing! Only reason for 4 stars is he's only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I just wish there were more options for appointments.
