Children love to move! It is one way they are able to play, to learn about things in their environment, about cause and effect, and how gravity works, not to mention, to get where they want to go! But not all children move the same way. If you have concerns about the way your child moves, we can help!

I was treated for tinnitus in both ears, likely brought on by neurological after effects of long Covid. My therapist was Molly Miller who prescribed a number of procedures to alleviate stress and tension and reduce the ringing in my ears. Though the treatments did not eliminate the tinnitus, several were effective in temporarily reducing the loudness by 25 to 50 percent.

This was a tremendous benefit as it allowed me to get through bad episodes and refocus on my life. I will continue to use the techniques to manage my tinnitus going forward. Molly was very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. Highly recommended!

I whole-heartedly recommend Advance Physical Therapy and especially Physical Therapist Molly Miller, who has worked with me virtually through the pandemic and then in person teaching me to manage my scoliosis, reduce back pain and improve posture. Molly has wonderful people skills and has taken the time to get to know and understand my physical needs and concerns.

She thoroughly understands how the human body works and how to improve and strengthen weak areas. She uses an individual and personal approach with her patients. She has taken time to taylor exercises that work for me, changing them as my needs change and my back and posture improve. She has helped me target exercises for specific areas of my body helping it to be more in balance. Molly welcomes feedback and works with me to make the exercises more effective.

Because of Molly's proficiency as a physical therapist, I have increased lower back and pelvic strength along with the skills to help me become stronger and less susceptible to injuries.

I've been seeing Molly for many months. She has given me the tools to keep my scoliosis from hurting. She's very pleasant to work with and good at explaining the whys and hows of what we're doing. She's fantastic! I will miss her!

We are so thankful to have found Advance Physical Therapy over five years ago, when our daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis at the age of 8. Our therapist, Lisa Mangino, is as knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and kind as any medical professional we have met (and we have met quite a few on this journey!) The program she has put our daughter on has been instrumental in keeping her ahead of the curve (pun intended).

We are absolutely confident our daughter is getting the best possible care for her condition. The professionals at Advance Physical Therapy work with the very top doctors and orthotists in the business. They have helped us create a comprehensive program to keep our daughter's case manageable, and thus far the conservative treatment has kept her curves stable.

We couldn't be more grateful for all the work Lisa has poured into Lizzy-patiently responding to every query, poring over X-rays, and constantly seeking ways to improve her treatment. We are five years in, and we continue to depend on Lisa and Advance PT to help guide us on this journey. The APT office is managed wonderfully, the communication prompt (thank you, Deana!), the expertise truly top-notch, the techniques cutting edge, and the environment as kind and friendly as one could ask. We strongly recommend Advance Physical Therapy to anyone with PT needs!

Advanced Physical Therapy, Jean Masse in particular, has been a revelation. With a long history of neck issues and the challenges of scoliosis with aging, I have found deep and lasting help in my work with Jean. She is wise, patient, encouraging, ambitious, with encyclopedic knowledge, and delivers significant improvement. I recently consulted her for a sprained ankle. The difference between her consultation and one at UNC. night and day. I will turn to her, and to APT, every time my body calls for more than I have to offer it.

I have been working with Molly at Advance PT for the past couple months & have found her to be the most helpful and knowledgeable PT I have ever worked with before. Her technique takes into account a whole body approach that is the most holistic approach to PT I have experienced. I have gone to many PTs in the past and struggled with chronic pain for all of my adult life, without any long term relief. Molly was the first PT to customize a treatment based on my needs that took into account all of my muscles head to toe and the neuromuscular aspect to pain that is often ignored in many practices.

I am so thankful for Molly and the staff at Advance PT - after years of trying to treat my pain I feel that I finally found the best path that works for my body with Molly's help.

People in this area are so fortunate to have the quality of care available at Advance PT. I originally went for shoulder and neck pain, which shortly improved. I more recently had worsening pain from osteoarthritis and loss of cartilage in my big toes which was limiting important exercise. My feet are now mostly pain free, and I avoided surgery. Along the way I received so much more than what I imagined possible.

I was offered and participated in a program of postural realignment which has improved my whole health (including lungs) and that has helped me to feel and function better than I have in years. I was entering my 70s with fear of accelerating pain and loss of function. At the end of my treatment I now have a method of continuing my functionality for the future.

I can never thank Molly Miller enough as my excellent and caring main therapist. I was also helped by Joe Belding and Debra Albrecht. Thanks also to Deana McCollum, the efficient, reliable, and welcoming office manager.

Now I know why so many people I respect have recommended Advance PT. My work there with Jo Belding and Molly Miller have had such a powerfully healing impact on my shoulder, back and knee issues. They both have so much to offer, listen so carefully and respond with very specific and nuanced recommendations. Each time I have needed to return, I come away with even more appreciation for their incredible knowledge and their ability to communicate about my injury.

I have had all of my injuries resolve and also come away with new learning about avoiding future injury. I find myself recommending them to my friends frequently. I feel lucky and grateful to have them as a resource!

I have seen three therapists over 15 years and they were all excellent. I worked with Susan Henning for over ten years managing hip arthritis and in followup to hip replacement. I was also able to avoid surgery for a rotator cuff injury. After my second hip replacement I worked with Molly Miller who was offering in person therapy this winter/spring.

I am a yoga instructor with 30 years of experience and I continue to be impressed by the extra strength and mobility advanced physical therapy staff offer. I have referred many of my students to them for both short term work and chronic conditions like scoliosis. The desk staff are excellent and reliable.

Advance Physical Therapy is an amazing company to work with. My youngest child has some P.T. done there with Lisa and she was absolutely amazing with him. She was very patient and took the time to explain to me what she was working to achieve with him. Deana, the office manager, made scheduling and billing so incredibly easy! Susan even took a few minutes out of her busy schedule to ensure my visit and experience were up to par! WHAT AN AMAZING STAFF! ABSOLUTELY would recommend A.P.T. to anyone and everyone who asks!
