Bhati's Foot Reflexology The ancient healing art of what we today call Reflexology has been known to humanity for thousands of years. It was first practiced by the early East Indian, Asian and Egyptian peoples. Ancient cultures discovered that when certain points on the feet are stimulated, the body's natural electrical energy appears to work along the nervous system to clear any blockages in the corresponding zones, helping to return the body to it's natural state of optimum health.

Benefits of Reflexology:
♠ Relaxation with the removal of stress.
♠ Enhanced circulation.
♠ Cleanses the body of toxins and impurities.
♠ Assists the body achieve its homeostasis state.
♠ Revitalizes energy.
♠ Is preventive health care.
♠ Stimulates creativity and productivity.
♠ Complements all other healing modalities.

How Can Reflexology Help You? The body has the ability to heal itself. Following illness, stress, injury or disease, it is in a state of imbalance, and vital energy pathways are blocked, preventing the body from functioning effectively. Reflexology can be used to restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium and encourage healing.

By applying gentle pressure to the reflex points of the feet, sensitive, trained hands can detect tiny deposits and imbalances in the feet. Working on these points will release blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the whole body. Tensions are eased, and circulation and elimination is improved. This gentle therapy encourages the body to heal itself at its own pace, often counteracting a lifetime of misuse.

Foot Reflexologist
Born in Kandy, Sri Lanka, Bhati Jayasuriya moved to Canada in 1988. He soon became seriously involved with fitness training, obtaining certification as a fitness trainer, then shortly after becoming a certified Foot Reflexologist through the Ontario College of Reflexology. He developed a successful fitness and reflexology practice in the Toronto area.

He & his wife, Sherese Chrtien, then opened Bhati's Complementary Care in the New Orleans area with great success until Hurricane Katrina blew them all the way up to Vancouver, BC, Canada.

As a professional Reflexologist, he seeks to share the therapeutic benefits of foot reflexology, and encourages the integration of reflexology with other therapeutic modalities, as an Eastern Complement to Western Medicine, in an effort to attain a level of wellness for his clients similar to that he experienced with Ayurvedic treatments passed down through his ancient culture and still practiced in Sri Lanka.

I was still living in Canada when my doctor diagnosed me with the first stages of endometriosis. He prescribed Dipo-Provera. I received a quarterly shot. This drug is used to treat endometriosis as well as for contraception in Canada. I was on it for a few years. When I stopped taking it in order to get pregnant 6 months ago my doctor told me it would take at least 10 months to get pregnant.

I joined Bhati's Complementary Care the end of January and began reflexology & massage. Bhati told me that he found significant tenderness in my uterus reflex points. Each month he would work on it little by little and it paid off. Within two months, my body was cycling properly again, and one month later I conceived. I am now 3 months pregnant and just got to see my baby in an ultrasound for the first time yesterday!

I have suffered with fibromyalgia for a few years. I had been so active all of my life, but I had begun to believe fibromyalgia had permanently taken that away from me. I now feel the best I've felt in at least three years. I truly believe it is because of a combination of the hair analysis with Dr. Farrish, which got my nutrition on the right track; reflexology with Bhati, which helped tremendously with my hip, Sharon's massage therapy she knows how to find all the tender points and work them out she's an excellent massage therapist; and Healther's yoga I'm starting to build core strength and flexibility. Overall, it's a very pleasant experience and I'm riding my bike again!
