A great studio for Bikram Yoga. The instructors are very supportive and move you through the class effortlessly.

This was the best yoga experience I have had. The people are down to earth.real. I'm a beginner and i didn't feel intimidated by the advance level of others. The teacher Pamela was encouraging. The owner was very nice and welcoming as with the rest of the staff. Ill be a long time member definitely.

One of my favorite Bikram spots in New York. If you're looking for a no frills spot with attentive instructors this is the place. The more popular times can get crowded so you will have to get there early to get the spot you want. The instructors are very attentive and tend to know your name just after one session. Compared to some of the bigger studios in New York, I find that the instructors here really help you improve your practice.

Falling in love with this location and so sad I have to say goodbye end of September when I move to Ohio! I will definately return during visits to NYC. I was late twice and once, the staff grabbed my mat to set me up while I ran into locker. These guys are great! Thank you #BIKRAMLES! Wishing you all the success.

Service:0 : Quality:3.5 : Ambiance:0 - Service: 0 : Agree with other reviews that staff will not even buzz you in if you are a few minutes late. It's ok for places to have a strict start time policy, but they should at least let you into the foyer or make this policy clear on their site since lots of other places have a 5 min grace period. - Quality: 3.5 I think the actual yoga is quite good, and the bikram room temperature is great.

Agree with others that rush hour classes are very overcrowded and it's hard to stretch without bumping into others. - Ambiance: 0: The room is carpeted and seems to have soaked in a lot of sweat and is very smelly. I think there is a lavender mist(might be something else) that is released sometimes, but it's hard to mask the sweat. Also hard to detach as tour busses as peering in at stop lights, but I guess that's just part of being in the LES and having windows.

Great no-frills spot to come for beginners, all the instructors are really friendly and welcoming and there's a real sense of community. Not a posh or lux experience, just a lot of people who want to get sweaty! Completely unpretentious--a great place to get your sweat on and meet some new friends while you're at it!

I went there once on Sunday at 4 pm. The instructor was good but the class was overcrowded. You can't stretch without touching your neighbor. On my second try, I was determined to take the 6am class. I got there at 6:07am because of traffic and they refused to open the door for me. I had to stand in the cold for 20 minutes calling and pressing their bell. No one opened the door for me. I think the 10 minute policy should be applied. Some of us come from far away and the trains get messes up sometimes.

This is a great place to work out at but if you are late they will not open the door for u. The trains are messed up on the weekend. I was waiting on the "B" but it was not running. So I took the "R" to the "F" to get off at 2nd Ave. When I looked at the time it was 4:08pm so I said I'm not too late. I got off on the wrong exit which delayed my time.

I finally arrived at 4:20 for the 4 pm class & ran the bell 6 or 8 times no one answered or buzzed me in. I know I'm not allowed to take the class if late but they could have buzzed me in to use the bathroom especially since I'm coming from Brooklyn. That was a passive aggressive move for a company to take toward an individual.

I got lucky with a great LivingSocial deal but will come back once my package expires. The studio is awesome, it's beautiful and really clean and instructors are friendly and very helpful, as an absolute beginner i took a full advantage of their willingness to go over things i didn't get right after the class. They have everything one needs for the class for rent or sale, from water to mats to clothes.

Also lockers and showers, for people who take a class before work. Morning classes are a bit crowded, but so is the subway in the morning. :P I was really skeptical in the beginning, i'm not big on the whole 'alternative medicine' stuff, but it really helped my back.
