Being in dentistry my neck and back are always bothering me. Last week when I woke up to a familiar dull, ongoing constant ache in my upper back/ mid shoulders shooting down my right arm, I knew I was in trouble and needed to see a chiropractor immediately. I remembered someone recommending Dr. Desi Gamboa awhile back so I just drove straight there and walked in to the clinic desperate.

Doctor Gamboa and his assistant were so friendly and welcoming. They got me in asap, Dr. used this warm ultrasound machine on my back and shoulder neck area- it felt like it was just a warm ball rubbed on my back, didn't feel like much at the time but I was 50% better the next 24 hours, he also adjusted me but this was the first time with this machine and it was magic.

Then the next two days after that I returned for the same treatment and by the weekend I was 100% again. Unbelievable, I'm used to these types of flare ups lasting 1-2 weeks. I'm beyond satisfied with the treatment, service, hospitality here. A family friendly place & my 4 year old son thinks Dr. Gamboa is so cool because he has bones and skeletons in his office.

I had been dealing with chronic daily back pain in my lower back for about 5-6 months. and a week and a half later after Dr. Desi Gamboa started working on me I'm 10x better. Range of motion increased dramatically, pain reduced to almost nothing. Seriously impressed. Thank you very much!

Dr. Gamboa is the man! We came down for a weekend in San Diego and got an adjustment on the way. What an amazing experience! He explained everything and within a few minutes we both felt so much better. Highly recommend!

Look no further! This doctor is pure MAGIC! I cannot recommend Dr. Desi enough! I have been to MANY chiropractors over the years, some okay, some horrible, some did the trick for a little while but cost me thousands of dollars and the issues came back. When I first went to see Dr. Desi a few years ago after spending thousands of dollars seeing a chiropractor 3 times a week for months to address my low back pain, that not only came back but even worse, I immediately felt relief.

The issue was pretty severe so I went to see Dr. Desi about 9 times even though I was already seeing a tremendous difference right away. However I did not have to go in 3 times a week for 4 months straight! What a difference! He took away my pain and adjusted me correctly just like that. After that I went in for maintenance when I felt like my body needed it, and every time I walked out I felt amazing!

Something else I have to share which I believe is truly remarkable is I had a shoulder blade issue, major pain I lived with for over 13 years from bartending for 10 years that by the way not one single chiropractor could ever resolve for me. I just learned to live with the pain even though it literally hurt every single day. I told Dr. Desi, he adjusted me specifically for that and just like MAGIC it was GONE!

The pain has not returned and it's been about a year! Enough said! Hands down THE BEST & not to mention honest chiropractor you will ever have the pleasure of seeing! Trust me your body won't regret it!

I started seeing Desi a few years ago. I referred my son, mother, wife. I had never see a chiropractor before so I didn't know what to expect. I do now. This office isn't interested in healing you, they are interested in booking your next appointment. For those of you who have seen him regularly will know exactly what Im talking about. No matter what your condition, the first thing Desi will tell you is that you're going to need several appointments before you're going to start feeling better.

Sure that's a given but he makes it painfully obvious he's not in the business of healing he's interested in your insurance. It's bizarre. if you're a current patient, you know exactly what Im talking about. His appointments consist of a quick adjustment, if your opt to pay the extra $ 10.00 or $ 20.00 you get the ultrasound for a few minutes and that's about it.

At the time I didn't know any better so I referred my mom who had experience with a respected chiropractor in Seattle. After her appointment with Carlsbad Chiropractic she called me horrified. She said, no way Im not going back and neither are you. Sadly my experience didn't end there. After a year of emails and phone calls asking me to book another appointment I finally told Carlsbad Chiropractic that I wasn't happy with the quality of care I received and I would not be back an imaginary bill for $ 87.00 showed up. after they sent me to collections I thought this must be a scam and started digging.

I found Desi has been taken to small claims court 7 times and sued for malpractice. more than once. Something is definitely happening at this office, and its not healing. If you decide to stop seeing him, don't tell him. My information can be verified by searching the San Diego county court website.

I pinched a nerve in my back in my sleep and was sooo worried I wouldn't find a chiropractor during covid but Carlsbad Chiropractic were open and even helped me out with a cut in price, as I do not have insurance and the doctor saw I really needed to be seen multiple times in one week, and as being young and single, he helped me out a little with the price, even selling me a back brace at nearly no cost that saved me at my beertending job.

My favorite thing about my chiropractor doctor I saw, is that he took the time every visit to do ultra sound radiation on my back since the muscles were soooo Inflamed to help get blood rolling and heal faster. Never have had a chiropractor take the time to do that before. Also loved how he spoke about his children which are about my age. Made me feel very comfortable and part of the family. :

I'm a martial artist and have been to chiropractors my entire life. Most have been good, others seemed to only care more about getting as much dough out of their patients as possible. So I've been exposed to a variety of different environments/procedures in the business. The night before my appointment, I suffered a neck injury during some drills. Needless to say, the subsequent headaches were some of the worst I've ever had in my life.

But even being a new patient, they were able to squeeze me in the same day I called the next morning. Dr. D is extremely knowledgeable and somehow seems to know more about your injuries than you do yourself. Everything was spot on, from what spots were normal, tender, very tender, etc. So it didn't feel like a game of twenty questions of discovering where the root of the problem was.

My injured areas were treated accordingly and I already feel much better. And overall, he's a very nice guy, so it felt more casual and laid back than a usual trip to a doctors office. Cannot recommend enough!

Really love Dr. Desi and his staff. I shopped around a bit to find a knowledgeable chiropractor with pleasant office staff, because that is important as well. Dr. Desi identified the problem area right away and brought needed relief. You can tell he has a lot of experience and knows what he's doing. He and his staff are so accommodating and willing to try to get me in when I have a problem.

He takes our insurance but before we met our deductible, his rates were reasonable, unlike other places where I felt like they were trying to sell me on unnecessary services. Go to Dr. Desi, you'll get relief, you'll laugh, you'll feel better!

Dr. Gamboa is great. I have never slept better in my life. In one session my pain was gone and it didn't break the bank. Looking forward to solving my shoulder and hip pain issues pertinently with Dr. Gamboa's help!

Doctor Gamboa is a truly gifted chiropractor. His experience and demeanor shine through in the first meeting, he really knew where I was hurting and how to help me. I had a particularly difficult upper rib injury, and after a few years of suffering I developed frozen shoulder on the same side. The adjustments he did brought me relief right away, and after a few weeks my injuries are no longer running my life. You won't be disappointed with this office. The staff are delightful, the office is nice and parking is easy. Thank you Dr. Gamboa, so glad I met you!

Dr. Gamboa is the man. He enjoys his craft, super easy to talk to and funny as hell. Twice now I have gone to him with some serious lower back pain and he has drastically helped me each time. Give him a visit he's awesome.

Dr Desi and the staff at Carlsbad Chiropractic are caring and knowledgeable. I had severe Sciatic nerve pain for months, but was too scared to get help. After a referral from a friend who had success with Dr. Desi, I dragged myself to see him. Two weeks later I am 100% better and still improving. Same day appointments are usually available, not expensive.

If you're on Medicare it will usually cost you $10.00 for the ultrasound, which I recommend. Located in the heart of Carlsbad Village there is plenty of parking and your visit will be happy from start to finish. Dr. Desi actually cares about his patients and knows what he's doing. If you're in pain, get yourself in to Carlsbad Chiropractic right now, you'll thank me later.

I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone who is in pain. Mr Gamboa and his staff are super friendly. I will recommend this place to all friends and family. Mr. gamboa really knows what he is doing.

Look no further. Dr. Desi is the chiropractor to go to! I came after having my first son and suffering from chronic headaches. After 3 visits I stopped having these headaches completely! I came back for a back issue after having my second son. I could barely walk and was in a ton of pain. After 3 visits I felt night and day difference! My husband was skeptical, but went after a motorcycle accident.

He was having chronic neck pain and after a few visits has not had any pain. I have also seen Dr. Desi for a plugged duct with breastfeeding. My lactation consultant recommended the ultrasound machine he uses and it worked like a charm. He and his staff are also super friendly and accomadating.

My neighbor referred me to Dr. Desi when I moved to Carlsbad. I loved my Carmel Valley chiropractor so I struggled to be willing to try someone new but, it was getting to be too far to drive so I switched to Dr. Desi 6+ months ago and he is wonderful too. I don't know why everyone doesn't use chiropractic to resolve headaches, body pain, etc. I dislike taking pills and find with all the sports I do I need to be put back in alignment sometimes and Dr. Desi does it every time. Dr. Gamboa is super amazing. Always remembers me every time I go in and always super cheerful and happy to see me. The first time I went in I have never had an adjustment that knarly, and I'm little only 5'0'' so he basically cracked everything in me but, I felt so much better after that one visit after him. I started to see him after I tweeked my back from a tumbling incident but, He is by far the best I have seen and my favorite.

Dr. Desi is awesome. I've never done chiropractic in my life so I was skeptical but Dr. Desi was very kind and very detailed about what he does. I've never heard my bones crack the way it did but it sure does feel good. I do highly recommend this place and seeing Dr. Desi if you've never done it before.
