Anne Avant, E.R.Y.T. Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, started attending Iyengar hatha yoga classes while living in the San Francisco area in 1978 where she studied with many senior teachers. She continued her studies after returning to Little Rock in 1984, started teaching in 1987, and was the 1st teacher in Arkansas to receive her Iyengar certification in 1991.

I had a lovely class this morning at Cedar Rock, practicing Iyengar yoga has been helpful for my lower-back issues. What I enjoy most about practicing here is how beautiful it is, the studio is well-equipped and the instructors are highly educated, highly recommend trying this place out for yourself! They have a Restoratives class on the first Friday night of each month, with classes on Monday nights, Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Be sure to check out their Facebook page as they have regular workshops that are highly informative as well.
