Dr Chen is a true healer. He will spend time helping you in a way that other practitioners don't and is caring and wise in his advice. My experiences over the past three years have always led to decreased pain without the use of medication or surgery.

F minus. A horrible experience. I was scheduled at Master Chen Acupuncture Institute in Worthington with high recommendation but accidentally ended up here. This office received me as if I had an appointment, not realizing I was at the wrong place. The doctor was dismissive of my complicated, diagnosed, and confirmed issues. He repeatedly insisted my issue was caused 'by my mind' and that this was causing 'MY HUSBAND TO SUFFER!' Extremely unprofessional leaving me to question the quality of skill, training, and integrity of this practice.

I was SO relieved when I realized much later (and many tears later) that I had gone to the wrong place! I left this office feeling so much worse than when I arrived. Sad to know that people would have an experience like this at a "doctors" office. I have had 4 acupuncturist in my life, so I know what it should feel like. My treatment hurt more than it should have on many levels.

My hand was swollen for hours afterwards from one needle and my husband also had a nerve in his leg hit, something that had only happened to him one other time, by a rookie acupuncture student who was geriatric. WOW! I guess I didn't realized just how bad this experience was until now :/ {on a side note, there was some pretty gross drip marks under the face cradle, yuk!}

I want to appreciate Dr. Chen for his use of the highest standards in medical care and acupuncture. He is one of the most caring, knowledgeable and sincere doctors in the area, and you can trust the treatment methods he offers for better and faster healing. I feel like new after receiving his treatments from when I was involved in an accident. His office manager is very polite, and my calls are returned on a prompt basis. The whole office is very well organized and patient focused.

DR CHEN IS Very easy to talk to He is a Good listener. Very proactive in seeking the causes of your ailment/s. Good bedside manner. Will keep going back again and again. Acupuncture is a GREAT ALTERNATIVE to pain pills. 2 weeks straight I woke with ZERO to little pain at all.started slowly creeping back to normal an (8) after 3 weeks.after acupuncture, was a (2) for days and days! Worth Every Penny. Wish I could afford more than once a month right now. Praised be.

He will listen to all your concerns in body, mind and spirit to bring you back to living whole again and or just staying on course for peace of mind! Dr. Chen is a miracle worker! He is so kind and knowledgeable. He helped me, my family members and friends beyond words and express.

Went to Dr Chen to establish a primary care Doc and a general checkup. Office confirmed they accepted my insurance. Office coded my visit in such a way my insurance would not pay for the appointment. When I called the office my phone call was not returned. After calling again, I was told my I could not get a physical with an first visit. Therefore the office would not refile my bill and insurance would not cover it. Office staff was not helpful. Will not be going back.

So right when you think there is NO alternative to what's bringing you down. You have to go try this Doctor! It has been a while since my last visit however, I am still feeling great b/c of my treatments (approximately 8 consistent months). Amazing results & the office director who has to be one of top three nicest & most sincere people in C Bus makes you feel like family. Allergies had me sideways & I was literally out of immediate relief/ options. Dr. Chen does not sugar coat & I personally felt like his diagnosis & administration of acupuncture was a saving grace for my livelihood. I strongly recommend this practice to anyone looking for honest & reliable alternative treatment.

Dr. Chen and his receptionist Liz are amazing! They are helpful and informative. He's definitely a thorough Dr. who takes his job and patient care seriously. Unlike other Dr. office visits-there's hardly ever a wait. If you do have to wait, it's because you can hear him traveling all over the office working diligently with his patients.

Definitely a "far cry" from when you're at an appt. waiting and waiting while "hearing crickets." He has cured my insomnia, neck/muscle tensions and my knee and back pains. He does this by having me go once a week-not 3-4 times like a chiropractor would have without getting near the fantastic results. Never again will I take on a smug sense of superiority towards eastern medicial philosophy.

He hasn't had to write one prescription-so imagine that-my ailments are being cured without running the risk of internal bleeding, homicidal/suicidal thoughts, cancer or sudden death!

I've always loved going to see Dr. Chen, but today's visit requires an update: First of all, his office staff - Liz M - is the best. Seriously. She was able to get me an appointment on the same day, and she is insanely helpful when it comes to things like insurance. I've been going to physical therapy for my shoulder since December, but the pain was so bad recently that I couldn't even go to my appointment this week.

I went to see Dr. Chen today for an acupuncture treatment so that I could at least attend my next PT appointment without crying from excruciating pain. And oh, em, gee. After my treatment today, my shoulder felt better than it has in months! The mister and I joke about this being voodoo, but I don't care what it is - I feel amazing.

I haven't actually BEEN here yet, but I felt compelled to write this review based solely on a phone call. I've been trying to find a PCP in Columbus for 5 years. Well, "trying" every time I get sick, making 4 or 5 phone calls, then giving up in a fit of rage, because no one accepts my insurance, or schedules appointments less than four score and seven years in advance, and most doctors office staff are bitchy to boot. Well, my insurance company referred me to Dr. Chen just now, so I called, and Liz answered, and was fucking awesome, and got me an appointment for TOMORROW, and didn't give me the "umm who?" when I said who my insurance provider was, and even cracked a joke. I think. I'm sick, so I can't be sure. Hopefully the Doc will be as rad as his receptionist, eh?
