We have a private consultation with you and go over your current health concerns as well as your pertinent health history. This gives you the opportunity to express any concerns or questions you may have. There is a thorough traditional diagnosis, which consists of looking at the tongue, taking your pulse, and asking specific questions to get to the root of your current imbalance. After this, we proceed to the treatment room where you will be asked to make yourself comfortable. There you will be needled by the acupuncturist with a specific series of points catered to your current condition or symptoms.
I have practiced acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for almost a decade. My husband and I ate minimally processed, organic fruits and vegetables and good sources of protein. We walked our dog twice a day everyday and we did not have any health issues. When my husband and I decided we were ready to start a family we never imagined that we would run into so much difficulties. My gynecologist told me it's normal for couples our age to take up to two years to conceive. However, I was adamant that I needed to know what was going on.
The practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, also known as Oriental Medicine, dates back more than 3,000 years. It is a time-tested system of medicine in Asia and is now rapidly being recognized in the United States. Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine, sterile, disposable needles into specific points on the body along energy pathways (meridians) to balance the flow of energy (qi). At our acupuncture and wellness clinic, we use ultra-fine needles to ensure a comfortable and nurturing experience.

Do I ever experience clotting when I menstruate? So then, ask yourself, "how can your treatments be the same?" IVF, GIFT, ZIFT and other Assisted Reproductive technologies are wonderful technological advances but if the root of your issue isn't resolved how can conception or pregnancy be successful? Her situation, history, lifestyle, diet, exercise etc. are all different. Therefore it is only natural that her treatment be different. Acupuncture is based in the Chinese belief that a balance in the energy flow (known as qi pronounced chi) through the body is needed in order to stay healthy.
