Holistic healing is a very in-depth process similar to peeling away the layers of an onion. As a practicing naturopathic consultant, I use a combination of natural healing philosophies such as nutritional assessment, homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine theories, essential oils and aromatherapy, herbology, stress management, and my knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body.
Based on the individual's unique needs and goals, a team-based supportive relationship is cultivated as we work together to identify the options available to facilitate the body's natural ability to heal itself. These options may include dietary, environmental, and life-style changes, herbs, or information regarding other healing modalities. All options are natural and holistic and are based on each individual's personal beliefs, customs, and life philosophies.
The initial consultation will consist of an extended conversation regarding your submitted health history questionnaire and includes other health assessments which generally take 1-1/2 - 2 hours.
Follow-up visits are generally scheduled 3-4 weeks after the initial consultation but may be adjusted to accommodate the special needs of each individual.
