One of the most common musculoskeletal injuries is to the low back. Repeated, prolonged stress to the back and shoulders can lead to a multitude of injuries down the road. Most jobs require a prolonged (sitting or standing) slumped forward position, which results in a postural overstretch and eventual low back pain.

So glad I found Dr Dubin. Scheduled my first appt with him a few months ago, right after I had a lower back muscle spasm. Knowing I was in a lot of pain, he saw me last minute and helped me get out of acute pain within 2-3 visits. From there, he encouraged me to self-heal by exercising more and by seeing a physical therapist. It was pretty clear he was trying to make sure I was only seeing him if absolutely needed.

And since then I've only been scheduling with him on an on-need basis. He knows what he's doing and he cares. I think that's all you can ask for when you're letting someone crack your back. Also, Dr Dubin's receptionist is great, too! Efficient, organized, and friendly.

I highly recommend Dr. Dubin's office. I pulled my piriformis and was unable to stand or walk without difficulty and pain. Dr. Dubin was able to get me back to working out after four visits. As a longtime endurance athlete I liked that Dr. Dubin's background specialized in sports. The office is a safe, comfortable environment where I felt like the time was taken to understand my injury and not rush me out.

I had an amazing opportunity to work for Dr. Dubin from April 2017 to June 2020. I was extremely amazed at how Dr. Dubin took such good care of each and everyone of his patients, and even more amazed at how he new each and everyone"s wife"s/husband"s and children's names. Dr. Dubin always went above and beyond his chiropractic skills, he took the time to show patients exercises and showed patients " THE BACK BUDDY" but each and everyone of his patients always walked away feeling like a new person. Dr. Dubin"s office is open during COVID-19 and his office has 8 am appointment times and evening times for patients who work till 5-6 on. Dr. Dubin is always on time to treat each patient and Dr. Dubin will NEVER SAY NO to any patient who needed to be seen and did not have an appointment.

I always new Dr. Dubin wanted to see these patients and give them some relief. I truly miss ALL Dr. Dubin"s patient"s. I enjoyed meeting new and existing. I truly hope 2021 will be a better year. And truly Dr. Dubin THANK YOU for the opportunity to work for you. Dr. Dubin is one of a kind and to have a doctor who cares for each and everyone of his patients is just AMAZING in 2021.

I would recommend anyone who is having any sort of pain stiffness from just basic wear and tear to pro athletes to see Dr. Dubin. And I hope Dr. Dubin and his family a Happy and Healthy New Year

This quarantine ruined my back, I had on and off back pain for over a month. After visiting a few times with Doctor Dubin, my back finally goes back to normal! In the processing I learned a lot of things that will be great for my back.

After a couple of months of lower back soreness, I think mostly due to poor posture at work (you know, back before coronavirus when we used to go to work) I decided I should visit a chiropractor. I chose Dubin Chiropractic because it's conveniently located in that medical center near Quincy Center, and he has good reviews. My back feels great after two appointments. Dr. Dubin takes the time to listen and tailor the treatment to get you the best results. Additionally, I want to highlight how great the front desk medical admin is. I really liked her energy. I highly recommend Dubin Chiropractic.

Dr Dubin is fantastic. I have been in to see him on and off the last 3 years. His office is clean, safe and extremely accommodating. Toni, his office manager will greet you and remember your name for life. She is the best. Dr Dubin is a miracle worker and he is funny and personable. This practice is making it work through Covid-19 and I feel extremely comfortable still going with their set up. Was there today and feel awesome! Cannot say enough about this practice.

I've been going to Dubin Chiropractic for 3 months. Great service and great results. They have instituted very well laid out precautions for all patients during the covid-19 outbreak. You will feel protected with a clean and sterile environment. The doctor provides masks and glove for you as u walk in the door!

I've been going to Dr. Dubin now for over a year - he's been helping me with chronic lower back pain and more recently for an issue with headaches related to back issues. He really has helped tremendously - sometimes I go into his office barely able to walk, and he gets me back on track and ready to go. The combination of muscle work plus spinal adjustments is super helpful.

He also suggests exercises or self-massage techniques which can mitigate the pain further. Toni, the office manager, is super helpful too - she went on what seemed like an epic quest to help me get my insurance information figured out when I recently changed jobs and didn't have my cards yet. Related to COVID-19: they provide masks to patients coming in and have two rooms that they switch between and disinfect between patients.

I was initially nervous to go anywhere when I had my first post-COVID appointment with him in April, but after seeing how they're handling things I felt way more comfortable.

I went to Dr. Dubin with chronic neck pain that I've had for years and learned to live with. Dr. Dubin quickly assessed the issue. I left his office after the first visit feeling really close to how I was 20 years ago before the pain began. I highly recommend him.

Same day urgent appointment after experiencing extreme vertigo. Greeting by Dr. Dubin himself. Welcoming and warm atmosphere. Vertigo is not completely gone but has definitely diminished. Felt great when I left.

It was my first time at a chiropractor and Doctor Dubin took excellent care of me. He is very attentive and takes his time with each patient to help their needs. He spends more time than a typical chiropractor "crack" and works the muscles/joints that are bothering you. I highly recommend seeing Doctor Dubin for your chiropractic needs (especially sports related)

I have been going to Josh for 3 years now, and I truly don't think I can find a better chiropractor around here. My C2 was out of place since a huge weight fell on my head in 1996. I have been to 7 different chiropractors since then, before I had Josh work on me. Some of them helped a little, some did nothing for me. Josh improved my conditions so much that my weekly migraines are reduced to every other month now (and sometimes it's because I'm dehydrated, duh.) I am MUCH MUCH better now, and I only need to see him for maintenance, because my C2 is stubborn and will probably always want to slide back to its "accident setting".

But as long as I exercise and keep visiting Dubin chiropractic, I'll be fine. Josh knows the anatomy and has a way to massage away any electric shocks I sometimes have in my nerves between my neck and shoulder / back. He made my sciatica pain go away too. I am truly grateful for his healing hands.

I have been going to Dubin Chiropractic for the last 15+ years so this review is a tad overdue. Josh is one of the best in Massachusetts and I would recommend him to anyone who is experiencing any muscle tissue or joint issues. Not only is he personable, attentive, reliable and thorough, he has successfully been able to help me over the years with any knee, back, shoulder and neck pain I have come across.

I experienced the same issue as another poster here. I went for treatment for my back, the Dr. did X, Y and Z, then when I went to check out, I was charged for extras, over and above my co-pay, none of which where discussed by anyone involved. I refused to pay, and after the front desk person called the Dr., they seemed willing to make it a wash. A business should be upfront about their fees, not after the fact.

I was not offered service for free. I paid my co-pay and refused to pay the additional charges that were never mentioned up front. You explained nothing upfront. This was MY experience and it is the truth.

Erase all your pre-conceived notions about what a Chiro does. Its not all about cracking backs and "adjustments" Dr Dubin is well known in the athletic community and that he should be. As he has served on the medical staff for the USA Triathlon team for many years now and uses his experience in bodywork, taping, TP, Graston etc to help get you healed up and ready to go.

I ran a half marathon in October that I pushed too hard in and didnt have the hip strength and balance I should have had. As a result my psoas and ITB tightened up, BAD! The tightness caused hip snapping and brutal ITBS in my right knee. I went to Josh to get treatment and I could not be happier. Not only did he utilize release therapy, bodywork, deep massage and E-Stim/Ultrasound he also gave me some exercises to do at home that I should have been doing all along and I would have never been in this boat.

I went to him 3x/week for a couple weeks and once per week after that for 2 weeks, I am back to running many miles pain free and feel stronger and more balanced. I will not hesitate to go back, tell him I sent to in :

Located on the only busy street in the little town of Quincy, the free parking in the garage off Hancock street is truly a luxury. Walk into the office and you're greeted by possibly the sweetest receptionist in the business. An affable young woman who makes you feel so at home you want to just kick back and throw your feet up on the table. Of course there would be no time for that as the wait is never more than 5 minutes.

The expertise of Josh Dubin has given me a second life with my workout regiment. I sustained a knee injury during a game of basketball. That night I crawled up the stairs of my house screaming in agony (think Exorcist, except I was going up and ummm I'm less depressed than Linda Blair). Prior to this injury I was a gym rat, working out six days a week, twice doing two-a-days.

So you can only imagine the frustration of this injury. Over time both of my knees developed patella tendinitis and started to swell despite the constant icing. My buddy recommended Active Release Technique and that's how I found Josh Dubin. Firstly, he's extremely personable and professional. He was extremely accommodating with my financial situation (I was BROKE with no health insurance) which is why I'm perplexed by the reviewers who claim he nickeled and dimed them.

Now the actual work he did was phenomenal. I believe he used the Combotherapy method (electric stimulation and ultrasound) to speed up the healing process and the ART work was incredible. The stretching and pressing of the thumbs was painfully good and left me feeling as if I had a new body, like Megatron becoming Galvatron after Starscream banished him.eh nvm. Josh also helped me by giving me a series of exercises to help with the rehabilitation process. Once, I brought my little cousin in who suffered a high ankle sprain and Josh fixed him up and lent him a stretch band. These days I'm back stronger than ever and I have Josh Dubin to thank for that.

Best I've ever had;) Seriously, I wasn't even able to sleep, and I was banished to the couch so I didn't wake the significant other. It took some time to hash out my problems (whooole left side from neck to foot and right side back), but I can say I am sleeping in my own bed. He does something electrical (?) that is magic. I usually end up drooling, half-asleep.

His receptionist is such a doll. She always chats with me while I wait - which isn't ever long! My only qualm is that it is so expensive :( However, unlike that other review, everyone was very up front on what the costs were. There were even times I forgot my checkbook (credit cards not accepted) and everything was okay - good ol' fashioned IOU.

I do wish they accepted credit since I'm a poor college student that livvvves on credit;) I recommend this place to everyone! Plus, like a previous reviewer - free parking, for two hours!

For the past 8 years I have had pain in my knees when i run, which tends to increase as i try to up my mileage or increase intensity. When the pain first began I was in college and even the varsity training room with all of the fancy machines and attentive staff were never actually able to do anything about my knee pain other than telling me it was tendinitis in my IT Band.

Since then i have been able to do easy training runs up to 5 miles so long as i give myself a few months to work up to that distance, however the longest race I was ever able to do was a 5k. That was until about two years ago when the pain became completely debilitating and i could not run at all unless i did a half hour warm up on the bike combined with lots of stretching.

Even then i could only manage a mile or two before the pain became too much. Then, i was referred to Dr. Dubin by a friend suffering similar symptoms. Dr. Dubin inflicted the best kind of torture i have ever experienced, breaking down all the junk that had built up in my legs over the years and giving me a new lease on my running life. I am still building strength and getting confidence and fluidity back into my stride, but i recently completed a sprint triathlon and felt no pain whatsoever during either my training or the race.

The ART technique is a miracle cure for IT Band tendinitis and Dr. Dubin is a knowledgeable and capable practitioner who will walk you through everything he's doing and give you exercises to do at home to continue the therapy. Thank you!

Yuck. Slick operation but soon realized leans more toward shyster slant. Dr. Dubin, well, not really a doc, was charming, but seemed interested in going through motions and collecting his pay. Also, nickel and dime you on the fees along with promoting own products for you to buy. Ultimately I feel he takes advantage of a person in pain and has a God complex. I'm sure there are good chiros out there, but this isn't one of them, unfortunately.

Dr Dubin was my medicine man. I came in with various problems and he fixed them all. I am ticklish therefore I can't get any massage but he kindly made it painful upon my request so that I wouldn't be tickled. Result of his deep tissue massage is amazing. And most importantly, his extensive experience of working with Olympic team really met my needs as an athlete.

It is really hard to find doctors/chiropractors who are familiar with sports injury and Dr Dubin has answers to all questions I had. Not only questions regarding of sports injury, but also he gave me various good tips on athletic conditioning as well. He is also quite a comical fella. He and I once dreamed about forming a tag team in pro wrestling. He has very strong thumbs and I have pretty fast kicks. We thought that combo would take out WWE stars such as Rock, Undertaker and Hulk Hogan.
