Dr. Jay Alexander Hafner is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Lakewood, CO community. He has been freeing people from pain and other health concerns in Colorado since 1999. As a Chiropractor with additional licensure and certifications in acupuncture, extremity practice (chiropractic for the limbs), nationally certified to perform transportation physicals, and spinal trauma (car crash injuries), Dr. Hafner is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients through objective chiropractic care.
We understand that arriving at a chiropractor's office for the first time can be nerve racking. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience. That's why at Hafner Chiropractic our aim is to remove any stress or causing unnecessary tension and to make you feel comfortable. In this area of the website you will be able to take care of items necessary for your visit prior to arriving, in the comfort of your own home.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. We do not haphazardly address your health concerns and we take them very seriously.
We have versatile payment options for care and strive make our payment plans straightforward. Your initial visit examination, diagnosis report and initial trial treatment visit is highly specific. If the doctor accepts you as a patient, your treatment plan options and costs will be discussed. Many insurances will help cover some of your costs, and we will get that verified when you bring in your insurance and/or medicare cards. Please note: We do not accept MedicAID and some other insurances and you would be self-pay.

Dr. Hafner is an exceptional chiropractor with superior knowledge of the human body. He goes above and beyond an adjustment. He is able to get me in for an appointment on short notice when a have a migraine, and will often resolve the headache. As a person with chronic back pain resulting from an automobile accident, I have seen many providers. None have been able to give me consistent, quick relief for Dr. Hafner does.
I have been seeing him for over eight years. I even moved from Lakewood to Parker and still drive 45 minutes to see him! He has helped me with back pain, migraines, knee and hip pain, and even plantar fasciitis. He often applies a pain relieving gel and usually gives me exercises to help relieve pain and strengthen the affected area. I cannot share enough positive things about him. He is, by far, the BEST chiropractor I have ever seen. If you have pain, anywhere, he can offer relief! I cannot recommend him highly enough!

As a chiropractor I know what proper patient care looks like. I see Dr. Hafner for my chiropractic and healthcare needs because the level and quality of care he provides is a dying art. I have worked and been a patient in the chiropractic field for many years. Dr Hafner is my favorite Chiropractor by far. He listens to my concerns and changes his adjustment approach as needed. He is always working towards making my body work better as opposed to fitting me into a prescribed treatment plan. My family and I will always come here.
