Steve is the most thoughtful, caring and patient practitioner I have ever met. He is committed to getting results for all of his patients. He looks at things more in depth to get the cause of the problem and fix it, not just what presents on the surface. I had a 5 year lingering shoulder/rotator cuff injury that never healed. After a series of treatments with Steve I now feel like my shoulder is back to 100%! I cannot thank Steve enough. He truly has a passion to help!

I was fortunate enough to have met Steve last May when I could barely walk! We started an aggressive treatment for sciatic nerve pain. Over the course of several months, not only was my sciatia healed, but I also changed my diet to vegan and have never felt better! Now, I am a true believer that our bodies CAN heal! I have known Dr. Steve Liu since he cured my Plantar Fasciitis. He explained in detail what would happen if I went to a podiatrist and how he would treat my symptoms. I decided, no way, on the Podiatrist and 12 years later, I have never had a recurrence. Now he is treating me for Myopathy in my feet. Same thing as before. After several consecutive treatments, I am now down to every two weeks and I'm running up and down steps as I did many years ago.

The treatments will remain in place for the rest of my life to prevent the Myopathy from gaining ground. My Myopathy cannot be cured, but Dr. Liu prevents further deterioration of the nerve ending with acupuncture and laser. BTW I'm 70 years old and on NO type of medication. I began accupuncture shortly after the death of my wife Ingrid. Along g with yoga and therapy with elaine Flanagan I recovered from my grief thank you Steve!

When I came to my first appointment, six months ago, I was experiencing migraine headaches for days at a time, high blood pressure, a looming immune disorder that was thought to be Lupus like my mother, and on top of that, I had been scheduled for a complete knee replacement. My hope was that he could just help me manage the pain until my surgery date three months out.

I had no idea, at the time, what I was about to learn and how it would change my life. Within weeks, Steve managed my knee pain and healed the soft tissue meniscus tears, but more amazing was how the new diet he put me on transformed my life and took away my migraines. The Whole-foods, Plant-based Lifestyle he advocated simply lowered my blood pressure and immune disorder blood counts, so much so that I am no longer on medication.

I cancelled my knee surgery and have renewed energy. Think about that. At sixty years of age I feel like I've gotten a second chance at life. Who would have thought food had this much impact on ones life? Taking control of my conditions has given me a renewed mindset, and is impacting all my loved ones around me, because now I am no longer dwarfed by pain and fatigue.

I am also twenty-five pounds thinner, and at my age, that is something. I also want to mention how much I looked forward to my appointments. Unlike other doctor offices, this waiting room has only three chairs, and it feels relaxing, clean, and comfortable. When was the last time you said that about a doctor appointment? The atmosphere is meditative, and yet, alive with healing from the music to the sweet girls in the front.

I could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Liu. I suffered two separate health issues with a strained back and ankle over the past six months. I was tired of taking pain pills and got no results from a chiropractor and my internist. On the recommendation of my son, I visited Dr. Liu for a diagnosis. This was my first experience with acupuncture, so I was somewhat apprehensive. Dr. Liu was very attentive to my issues and provided me with good advice on my diet and eliminating the pain medication.

He provided me with a combination of treatments for both my back and ankle that included acupuncture, infrared heat and light. After three trips to Europe, which entailed a great deal of walking, I found myself to be in a great deal of pain. The diagnosis was not encouraging - arthritis and bulging discs - with not much effective advice/medications from doctors. A friend, who had a broken back, suggested acupuncture with Dr. Liu, as she had success with his acupuncture treatments.

It was a happy day for my lower back and hips when Dr. Liu began acupuncture treatments. I stated with three times a week and then, after a while, the pain was ameliorated by two acupuncture and one laser treatment. The pain was relieved after just a few treatments. My pain has subsided by 85% adn the improvement has allowed me to resume a more active lifestyle and exercise regime. Happy days!

Last year I fell down and hurt my leg. The pain was so acute that it paralyzed me. I would scream from the pain and cry wishing to die. Throughout the year I saw four neurologists, an orthopedic doctor, a chiropractor, a physical therapist, and have had around six visits to urgent care, and two to the emergency room. They all told me I have no cure an prescribed pain medication to ease the pain.

From Gabapentin to Naproxen, to Ibuprofen, etc. Eight months passed by with daily pain, and I was getting worse, to the pint where I was immobilized. I was even told I needed surgery, but the doctors were not sure if this would heal my problem.
