Products & Services

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic physicians are trained primary care providers. From ordering imaging and lab work to exploring emotional causes of physical ailments, naturopaths treat the whole person and address the underlying causes of dis-ease.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into the body in order to induce a therapeutic effect. The needles affect the flow of qi, or energy, in the body. Sometimes they are used to work on more physical aspects of the body, such as releasing trigger points. Some styles of acupuncture work on the emotional or spiritual aspects of the body. There are many layers of understanding which points to use, how to use them, and when. The core of Chinese medicine and acupuncture theory is very nature-based; the way the stars move in the sky, the way the hours of the day and the seasons progress, the way landscapes are formed, all are reflected in the human body.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Classical Chinese herbal medicine is a sophisticated, complex, and powerful medical treatment. It very rarely uses specific herbs based on their symptomatic actions (such as this herb helps sleep, or that herb is good for infertility) . Instead, the detailed state of the patient's connection to nature is diagnosed. This state, which is the root cause of one's condition, is then adjusted with herbs. Our practitioners have taken several years of classical Chinese herbal training.

I can't recommend this place enough. Michael Guida has helped me work out a muscle knot I've had for 14 years and just assumed was part of my body. I've learned so much about my health, and how to improve my posture & habits that it has been absolutely worth coming back for multiple sessions.

What a wonderful team of practitioners! I have spent the last year recovering from a back injury. Dr. Staller was the lead on my case and was so attentive every step of the way. She was approachable, fun, and knowledgeable. Alexandra Rickett and Teresa Laughlin were such lovely practitioners. I feel blessed by the care I received!

Customer Testimonials

I just got done with my first visit and I am so happy!!! I have never had a Dr. do such a thorough job and really know so much about the human body. I don't think I will be going back to my old Dr because Dr Mansfield was amazing!!!

I have experienced nothing short of stellar care here. While working with these providers gives me a behind-the-scenes perspective on the intention and care my colleagues bring to Heart Spring Health everyday, receiving care here has been a phenomenal experience. Alexandra is an exceptionally caring acupuncturist, Dr. Laurie Menk Otto provides wonderful hands-on treatment in the realm of functional physical medicine and last but not least Talula is such a gifted massage therapist I feel truly lucky each massage/craniosacral session I experience. These folks are great!

This is a wonderful group of professionals. I've had a tremendously positive experience with Stephanie Swanson, as my acupuncturist! I would recommend her, and have recommended her, to my closest friends and family.

I first witnessed Dr. Wilkie’s extraordinary compassion and deep medical knowledge and skills as she helped my Mother transition from this life – thus contributing to her experiencing a very peaceful death. Based on that, both my sister and I decided to switch to her as our primary doctor.
Dr. Wilkie is everything I could want in a doctor. I appreciate her balanced, open minded, and encouraging approach. She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate and presents clear alternatives. She is exceedingly attentive, respects my own innate understanding of myself and works with me as an equal in solving health issues. She sincerely listens – I definitely feel heard and thus I am comfortable sharing all my medical concerns. Since I started working with her, I have experienced significant healing – including resolving my weight and hormone issues and clearing up serious skin conditions that I have not been able to solve with any other doctor for over 15 years. It has been life changing for me in such a incredible way. Drawing from her deep and broad medical knowledge she is able to tailor a health care plan that meets my specific needs which is why I believe she is so successful and other were not. Dr. Wilkie is truly exceptional - a Genuine Healer!

I have super positive experiences with the rest of the staff too at Heart Spring Health...a very warm, welcoming, and supportive topnotch clinic.

I have seen both Talula Kana and Johanna Wearsch. Talula and Johanna are great at reading muscles. Talula incorporates craniosacral treatments with her massages that make them deeply relaxing. Johanna' massages incorporate structural integration, that is very good for breaking up myofacial adhesions and improving blood flow and flexibility.
I recently saw Dr Laurie Menk-Otto for naturopathic care. I was very impressed with her skill, knowledge and caring demeanor.

Chiropractors are whole-body physicians who specialize in diagnosing, treating and preventing disorders of the musculo-skeletal and nervous systems, with a focus on the spine and surrounding soft tissue. Chiropractic medicine involves non-invasive techniques to make sure the joints in the body are moving the way they are supposed to, and to search for any factors that may be contributing to acute or chronic issues. Chiropractic care can help reduce pain without the use of pharmaceuticals, and help the body to heal itself.

It is best for you to be evaluated right away after a car accident, even if you are not experiencing severe pain. Have an evaluation if you are suffering from any type of discomfort. Dis-ease, in any form -from neck pain to depression-is significant. Injuries may take days or weeks to appear; even low speed accidents can cause long-term damage. Arrangements can be made for you to be seen by a provider on the same day of the accident. Heart Spring Health practitioners are well equipped to evaluate and begin treatment right away.

Nutrition plays a major role in our health and wellbeing. Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hormone imbalances, digestive disorders, inflammatory diseases and even some cancers can all be influenced by our food choices. It's difficult to know how to eat well in a society with so many choices. We know that food should bring us health, energy and nourishment. If that's not the case, then a nutritionist can guide you towards a way of eating that works best for you. Using Nutrition Therapy, we will tailor a plan individualized to your needs.
