She has extensive training in medical claims preparation and processing, transcription, coding, and documentation. She is Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem, Chiro Code, and Gateway certified. She also holds the AMC-CA certificate and is a member of the American Chiropractic Associaton. She has a Medical Secretary Associate degree from Lakeshore Technical College, and currently serves on the LTC Medical Advisory Board. Many times, other area chiropractic offices will call Wendee regarding their patient insurance questions.
In 1996, something happened to me that changed my life forever! One very foggy Wisconsin morning, I was involved in a 15-car pile-up on I-43 near Port Washington. My car slid under a semi trailer, which tore off the roof of my car. There was a large cut on my forehead, which needed many stitches, but even worse, I had severe neck pain shortly after the accident.

I love the experience I have had here! Everyone is very friendly, willing to answer questions, and go out of their way to make us feel welcome! Dr. Heinen is very knowledgable and has been able to both figure out what was wrong and how to fix it for an ankle issue I had mostly been resigned to live with as it was.

Everything about Dr. Heinen's practice is absolutely first class. I know this as I worked with a Chiropractor in Wa. state for the last 18 years of my 30 year career in the medical field in multiple capacities. I have seen the inner workings of many Chiropractic practices over those 18 years so my initial remark is a bit more than an educated guess. I'am starting my 3rd month of treatment for moderate to severe low back pain, degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint disease and osteoarthritis.
The initial x-ray's taken revealed this as well as my right hip being higher than the left. I could actually see this in the mirror. I had virtually no disc space at the L5-S1 junction as well. My treatment plan consisted of chiropractic adjustments, cold laser therapy, electrical stimulation and intersegmental traction. Subjectively I currently have virtually no pain.
My second set of x-ray's showed a comparitively marked improvement in the elevation of my right hip. They are about 75% level now. There is also a visible improvement in the aforementioned narrowed disc space as well which I thought was hopeless. You simply cannot argue with x-ray findings. Personally Dr. Heinen is a fantastic D.C. I found him to be thorough, knowledgeable, professional and generous.
He is genuinely concerned with your health and his role in improving it. He loves his work and that is apparent. At the same time he has a sense of humor, is very personable, kinda laid back and is a pleasure to interact with. All other treatment modalities and front office duties were performed by Dr. Heinen's staff of absolutely lovely and talented ladies.
Like their employer they are always kind, friendly and professional with personality! They are awesome! You will love them. This office is run with precision, professionalism, and warm friendly personalities and it has been a true pleasure to experience. Jonathan

Since coming to Heinen Chiropractic I have felt sooo much better. I knew I had back problems but not as bad as they were, but in the last 2 months of seeing Dr. Heinen my back pain is no more. There's not this constant sharp pain I was experiencing and I just overall feel amazing! Everyone has been so wonderful and welcoming through my whole treatment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Heinen to be your chiropractor.

Very expensive program here. I went for months without any relief of my back pain symptoms. When I said I was leaving, I was handed a large bill for some past -x-rays. When I entered the office that day, I asked about an outstanding bill and was told I owed nothing. I wanted to have a good experience here, but that was not the case.

I've been going here for about 3 months now (2 dozen visits) and every time it's been a great experience. Dr. Heinen is professional and informative about your care. The staff is amazingly friendly and always makes you feel at home. Since starting my care at Heinen my back has been feeling great, and actually has some proper curve now! Dr. Heinen and his staff are amazing! Happy, friendly warm faces when you walk in. With a great family atmosphere. My 3 yr old son loves to come here as well as myself. Dr. Heinen has helped me more than any chiropractor has and is very knowledgeable about everything. He helps you to understand what is going on with whatever is bothering you. I have been having neck pain for the past couple of months which at times would bring on a headache. Friends told me to see chiropractor but know stubborn as I am I did not need one. I was fine taking ibuprofen daily. That only lasts so long. Gave in went to see Dr. Heinen, absolutely fantastic. After a few visits and a few adjustments I was pain free he knew exactly where my problem was, I only wish I would have went in sooner.
