Stay Away From This Practice!

None
Wasted time, rude staff, office manager does not seem to know what he is doing!
I have gone to Dr. Korcz on several different occasions and each time I go, there are different office staff there who do not seem to know what they are doing. Staff are quite rude, as well as Dr. Korcz when she falls behind in seeing scheduled patients, she enters the waiting room and shouts for receptionist to reschedule the rest of her day. The entire setting is not professional, staff never documents anything on the patients and Dr. Korcz now wants you to pay $50.00 before scheduling an appointment.

None I could See
The whole place!
I have never witnessed anything like this place the doctor reuses plastic speculums amongst other things that are one time use. I am outraged how absolutely disgusting are you? I will never ever go to this place again. And the receptionist is not cheerful at all, the doctor is below average. If you want to have the feel of a spa (quiet, relaxing, peaceful) then you may as well go somewhere else b/c this place was ridiculous.

The Nurses
The doctor and receptionist
This doctor/practice is so horrible that I have filed complaints with HIPPA due to the things i have noticed in the office. Also the front desk receptionist is so rude, unfriendly and is always talking badly of the rest of the staff. She was very sloppy and unpleasant. The nurses in the back were very kind and the ONLY reason i stayed and waited.

Not what I expected at all

The nurses who took my blood pressure and weight were very nice.
Disrespectful to patients; Cost of services; Front Office Help; Harassing phone calls.
I heard her advertisement on a Christian radio station and was immediately interested in her practice. A Christian doctor was what I was looking for. When I got to her practice, I found the receptionist to be very rude and disrespectful. She was checking her Facebook page on her cell phone in the middle of processing my payment. I had to ask her several times to give my credit card back. The doctor's assistant talked to much; and the doctor herself looked very homely. She didn't look like she was a doctor. Her appearance was not professional at all. She was rude to me as soon as she stepped into the exam room. She tried to diagnose me with conditions that I did not have before she ran any type of test on me. I found it to be very offensive. I'm a professional just like she is and I expect to be treated better. I will never go back to that practice. Since my visit, I've been contacted at least three times by her office to see why I won't come back. I tell the nice nurse every time that it is the doctor. I didn't appreciate her diagnosing me with conditions that I didn't have.

So Many Other Better Choices

None I Could See
Just Too Many To Choose From
I visited this practice twice. The first time the receptionist didn't know what forms of payment to take. The office manager (the doc's husband) outright lied to me. The nurse reeked of cigarette smoke. The doc herself hadn't practiced personal hygiene in some time and complained to me about other patients. She does not liked to be questioned and the focus is most definitely on how much money she can make. She rattled off a number of things she said were wrong with me but every one of them was wrong (yes, I later saw reputable medical professionals who had no idea how she came up with so many imaginary ills). Oh, and time here is relative. I waited an hour and 15 minutes to be seen when she "was just finishing up" with someone else.

The second time I was there I waited 35 minutes (again she was “just finishing up”) when she took other patients ahead of me even though my appointment was first (and, no, they weren't emergencies). When I objected she said she didn't care and told me I could go someplace else.

If you want a doctor who is educated, trustworthy, caring, and respectful and conducts themselves with integrity then see someone else. If you know no better, don't care and are willing to take whatever gets dished out then by all means open your wallet at this practice. They'd be happy to relieve you of your extra $$$ and self worth.

Variety of treatments, listens to your ideas and experiences, spends plenty of time with you.
I have seen doctor Korcz 2x now and she has always been really nice and fun. Maybe she's not for you if you are a stick in the mud, but she's very relaxed and easy to talk to. She's always answered all of my questions and she's treated me more as a friend than a patient.

good listener
referral service used
Don't understand why so many people are giving bad reviews. She was one of the best docs I've ever seen and listened and checked my vitals, bp, and asked numerous health questions. She was interested in my overall health not just the health problem that i am suffereing from the greatest. In my opinion, some of the bad reviews she is getting lately is from a company (not gonna mention any names but they are not a "1st choice" for referrals. This company refers patients to her and is very incompetent at it.

Sending people to her at the wrong times and dates after they drove many miles to see this great doctor. The performance of this referral company is unacceptable but sometimes nessesary to establish a steady patient base. My advise to her would be to drop this company and the problems they cause and work with one that is not just in it to make a buck off of sick people.
But DR. Korcz is a great doctor, no doubt.

Totaly unsatisfied with my experince! Go somewhere else!
I was very excited about seeing Dr. Kortz after a referal from a friend. Upon ariving for my appointment I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. The problem occurred when I went to the exam room to meet with Dr. Korcz. I have never done this before, but after listening to her tirade for a few minutes, I interrupted her and let her know that I was not interested in being a patient at Hoover ALT. Medicine and left the exam room. I forgot about the incident untill today when I received a notification that I was 90 days past due on my 25.00 co pay from that visit. The first letter I receive from this practice is a 90 day past due notice! Also I found they billed my insurance for 225.00 as well! I would advise any one looking to find a doctor who uses ALT Medicine to look else where.

Lots of time and concern, quick, good doctor, good nurse
receptionist
I've been using Dr. Kortcz for several months now and I've been to her office 3 times for regular visits, etc. I have never had a doctor spend so much time with me and ask so many questions to fully understand my situation. She also shows true concern and empathy to her patients.
