Animal Reiki

Offer Reiki to your pets? Yes! This is a wonderful experience for your pets to really get a say in things, help them through healing from stress or even grief from the loss of a loved one. Reiki for animals is very similar to Reiki for humans. Everything on this planet has an energy field, so just as in humans, a Reiki Practitioner can help heal using that energy! Give your pet the chance to try it, and see the difference!

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is a therapy that uses essential plant oils to stimulate changes in a person’s health. Essential oils are complex, volatile extracts from plants. It takes only a few seconds for the aromatic smell to reach the limbic or emotional center of the brain even when applied to the feet. Many excellent results in health care using aromatherapy have been scientifically documented in the past 100 years. A single oil or blend of oils in a carrier oil such as jojoba or almond oil is chosen or created by the aromatherapist for each individual client according to his or her needs. The oil can be used in conjunction with other modalities as an added benefit to wellness care.

Chakra Energy Clearing

The body is made up of 7 Chakras that need to be tuned up, which helps even the most stressed out person regain their sense of calm, peace, and serenity. A chakra clearing is so much more than an energy adjustment. Your 7 main chakras are connected to and work hand in hand with all the vital organs in your body. When one chakra become out of balance, the body becomes out of balance and the related organs become vulnerable to disease. It is important to take care of your chakra system with the same love and concern that you do your physical body. Anytime there is something going on in the body that shouldn’t be, it is due to an underlying blockage or issue in the corresponding chakra that requires attention. Rebalance the chakras and your organs can function in harmony and unison, restoring peace, health and happiness.

Crystal Vibration Therapy

Can stones really help us to achieve better harmony in our emotional, physical and mental bodies. doesn't that seem like a something out of a fairy tale? Well, think of it, how many times have we picked up a smooth pebble and carried it around just for the comfort it gave? How often did we skip stones over water or choose just the right boulder to sit on. Rocks and Crystals are Earth and thus impart a special sense of grounding and stable energy to our energetic bodies, However, each mineral has a different vibration or harmony which may or may not be precisely "in tune" with your particular harmony.

I am a stone/crystal empath who resonates with the stone's mineral, color and crystalline compositions. I also am a human energy empath. put the two together and I have the gift of “seeing” the stones which are appropriate support for a person at this particular time in their journey. The result is a multifaceted gift of an energy reading AND a personalized 8-stone meditation layout which you can use as a gentle healing tool on your own. (I do not sell stones nor are they included in reading. I will provide several reliable sources to purchase them from) .
What should I expect at my session?

We will be comfortably seated. I will perform a short blessing and then connect with your energy by simply holding your hand. I will scan your energetic body from your feet to the top of your head, along your spine, chakra by chakra. I will NOT be reading your thoughts or judging you as a person, so do not fear this, it is not how it works! I may see how your chakra looks (i. e., if it is running smoothly) in addition to the stone that wants to work at this point. I usually give a person an 8 stone reading because I include the 7 main chakras along the spine and head plus the feet (the yongquan) . Sometimes, I am led to minor chakras as well, sometimes more than one stone is given for a particular area, and in some rare cases, a chakra may even be skipped over to the next. There is always a pattern which becomes clear later.

What is a chakra?
A chakra, Sanskrit for “wheel of light”, is an energetic processing center. These energy organs transform subtle energy into physical energy and visa versa. The body, according to many traditions, has at least 7 major Chakras found along the spine and head.

The integration
The initial reading can go very quickly, especially for people who spend a lot of time in nature or are around crystals. We will then, together, process the information together. Each person will be given a personal worksheet which informs about the chakras, what they are and what they do. The stones will be listed on this sheet for the client to take home as a reference. Why the stones are given are often more clear to the client than to me once I describe the attributes of the stone to them. (I am only the messenger) It is often found that a theme is intertwined in the stone selection and it is understood that the stones work with each other to keep the chakras balanced.

The Metaphysical Science of this process as I understand it so far:
We know that stones work through their crystalline lattice, their mineral content, and their color to vibrationally work with us [Vibrational Medicine:p. 368, Richard Gerber, M. D. ]. They do this through our energetic bodies. Such ancient fields of knowledge such as Chinese Medicine and Aryuveda have described channels, reservoirs and streams within the body which store and carry life force energy (Qi, Prana, pneuma) . . this is why acupuncture works as well as Qigong and Reiki healing. Stones and Crystals work in a similar fashion. It has been reported by many that ancient peoples, the Atlantians and Lemurians, used sophisticated methods of healing with crystals, and we seem to be recovering this information.

The stones and crystals (mineral) have a complex relationship with each chakra (or energy center) in which the highly regular and stable energetic field of the mineral, similar to a magnetic field, readjusts the vibration of the human subtle body. I believe the stones I “see” are given for different purposes depending on a particular person's-or chakra's-need. For instance, it may clear negative energy, balance, or “charge” the chakra (either rev it up if it is too slow or calm it down) as appropriate-and with very nuanced energy depending on the type of stone, the particular shade of color, and even, sometimes the shape I perceive it. The end effect is that the stones “tune-up” or “re-charge” and harmonize the body's Qi, or Pranic energy in a subtle exchange. Indeed, sensitive people can feel that there is a pleasant buzzing feeling which energizes or soothes, as appropriate, as they rest with their selected stones.

Dowsing for Well-Being

Dowsing - A key to infinite mystery

The ancient divination technique of dowsing enables the movement of energies that have created life situations that are unwanted and non-beneficial. All of life is composed of energy including our thoughts. It is our thoughts that create our future. The energy of life events and patterns can be shifted, nueuralized, enhanced or completely changed by moving unwanted energies that have accumulated, If non-beneficial energies and frequencies are around us, we are bound to experience a life of disharmony in our mind, body, and emotions. By using dowsing tools and relevant charts, these are some of the situations that can be changed through the technique of dowsing:

-Enhance prosperity & abundance
-Enhance business success
-Remove non-beneficial psychic cords
-Pain Relief
-Chakra clearing
-Removal of negative entities & thoughts

Individual sessions are beneficial for children and adults. Animals can also be helped.

Through dowsing we bring harmonious energy, raise the life force and energy levels around us and in our homes and businesses. We can then more easily fulfill our highest purpose in life and live aligned with universal intent and awareness.

WHERE IS HEALING TOUCH USED?

Healing Touch is used in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, long term care facilities, private practices, hospices, and spas. Janet Mentgen, RN, founded Healing Touch in 1989 as a continuing education program for nurses, other health care professionals, and lay persons. Today Healing Touch has spread internationally and is taught in universities, medical and nursing schools, and other settings internationally.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?
The first session involves a consultation as well as the energy session itself. The provider will ask a series of questions about the individual’s physical, mental, and emotional situation, and will answer any questions. Then the individual will lie fully clothed on a massage table while the provider gently places their hands slightly above or on the individual. The session generally lasts 40 to 60 minutes, and people frequently report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful during and after the session. There is a cumulative effect of using Healing Touch over time and regular sessions are recommended.

Intuitive Energy Integration

Intuitive Energy Integration is when the practitioner starts a session with a client, and includes many different modalities in it. Some of the modalities include: Reiki, Jin Shin, Healing Touch, Chakra Clearing, and more.

Angela Grisham offers intuitive combinations of the following energy work: Reiki, Healing Touch, Chakra Clearing and Balancing, and Intuitive Medium.

Denise Proulx offers intuitive combinations of the following energy work: Jin Shin, Reiki, Healing Touch within a session.

Pam Sothman offers intuitive combinations of the following energy work: Reiki, Chakra Clearing, and Jin Shin.

Jin Shin

What is Jin Shin?

Jin Shin is an ancient Oriental healing art. This meridian based energy work uses 26 different points in varying combinations or ‘flows’ to access and open the energies of the body. In the practice of Jin Shin the client lays on their back on a treatment table, fully clothed. After their pulses are taken at the wrists to assess which of these flows are most appropriate for each individual client, light touch is applied to a series of points or flow pattern, to open the flow of energy. These points are held until a pulse is felt indicating the client has done as much as they need to at that point at that time. Jin Shin is non-invasive and safe as the client not the practitioner is in control of the healing that occurs. The client’s body takes in the energies that it needs and uses them as it sees fit. As the energy opens relaxation and healing occurs. As with all energy work this is a subtle but powerful modality.

Massage

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage sessions are setup quite differently from a spa massage. The setting may be a clinic, hospital or private practice office. A first time client may spend extra time at his or her session to complete a very thorough intake form detailing current and past health complaints. This type of session may retain a large relaxation element to it but advanced techniques are likely to be used for pain and chronic health issues. A therapeutic or clinical massage practitioner will see a client very frequently for the first few weeks or months. This might include half hour massages three times a week, or weekly hour massages for a couple of months. Advanced techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy may be used in a more clinical setting.

Swedish Massage
Relaxing technique, applying lighter to deeper strokes in no set order using lotion or oil.
Body Insight/Neuromuscular Massage
Deep soft tissue manipulation releasing long-held patterns of tension, trauma and emotion designed to effect change within postural imbalance, injury and coordination difficulties.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is a style of massage therapy in which water-treated stones are placed at specific sites on the client's body to promote relaxation and to help open up the meridians (energy pathways) . Muscles are pretreated with the heated stones to allow the therapist to more easily perform deep tissue manipulations. Cool stones are sometimes used alternately with hot stones. Massage oils are usually incorporated into the massage treatment.

Sports Massage
Preventive techniques for potential sports injuries, pre and post event massage, flushing, deep tissue, neuromuscular techniques and the promotion of quick recovery from injuries.

Qigong Healing Therapy

Based in thousands of years of tradition and knowledge, Qigong Healing Therapy is, according to Dr. Kenneth M Sancier, Ph. D, the subtle energy healing practice with the “most developed theoretical basis” and certainly the one that has been subjected to the most extensive research. * In some western hospitals, Medical Qigong is being practiced as a complimentary form of treatment along with Reiki, Healing Touch, and Mindful Meditation. Please Note that my treatments combine both Reiki and Qigong Healing.
* www. healingtaousa. com

What is it?
Qigong Healing Therapy is an energetic healing practice in which the practitioner removes blockages and helps circulate the energy thus restoring balance to the client's energy system. Since all healing begins at an energetic level first, this very gentle method is quite powerful. It differs from Reiki in that the Practitioner treats the client from the Traditional Chinese Medicine understanding of how energy affects each organ system in the body emotionally as well as physically. However, like Reiki, the treatment is generally deeply relaxing and, again, the practioner is ultimately removing Qi blockages and congestion and thus restoring a healthy harmonious circulation.

What is a Qigong Healing treatment like?
At your initial treatment, I will go over some simple questions about your physical and emotional well being. I am looking for patterns related to the “Five Elements” of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) . These relate to the “five organ systems” of TCM and is a very different way of looking at the human body and its symptoms compared to the Western tradition. (For example, if I ask you if you have trouble with low back pain, auditory (hearing) issues, suffer from cold feet and hands, and are a person who experiences fearfulness, I am asking about the Kidney System.)

When the initial consultation is completed, I will see to your comfort. You will relax, fully clothed, on a massage table. Soft music and lighting will help soothe you. You are always in control of your treatment and can let me know if you are not comfortable with any aspect of the session. I will scan you for blockages by hovering my hand about 8” away from your body. I will be able to determine where energy is blocked, or “congested”. I will then clear these areas and send energy into particular meridian (acupuncture) points depending on your needs. This is all part of harmonizing your energy.

Like a Reiki treatment, you may very well fall asleep during the appointment so do not be embarrassed. Deep relaxation is very healing. Afterwards, I will review with you what I have found and what you can do at home to continue the process. You will be given a gentle Qigong exercise and/ or meditation to help reinforce the work done during the session.

Qigong Practice

What is Qigong and Qigong practice?
During President Nixon's historic visit to China in 1972, journalists witnessed major surgeries being performed without anesthesia. The patients were comfortable, awake and being treated with acupuncture needles. Ever since these reports, the Western world has been intrigued by the possibilities of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) . Qigong is part of TCM.

Qi (chee) is the bio-electricity which runs through our body. Gong literally means “hard work”. Therefore Qi Gong means the study and manipulation of this “life force energy, ” or Qi, for healing, longevity, and spiritual enlightenment. Qi flows in channels, called meridians, around the body and through the organs, supplying a constant flow of vital energy. For thousands of years, the Chinese have studied and refined their understanding of Qi and the result is the practice of Qigong. Qigong (a. k. a. Chi Kung) includes slow mindful exercise, breathing techniques and meditation, self massage, healing foods and above all, a calm and relaxed mind.

There are several schools and many different styles of Qigong. The techniques practiced by Barbara are primarily from the Medical School which focuses on bringing harmony and health to the body. Qigong breathing techniques and slow gentle movements are simple to learn and appropriate for all ages and abilities. For instance, one form Barbara teaches is a very gentle form performed while seated in a chair. In fact, Qigong is one of the most accessible health practices available and very suitable for elder health care and chronic pain management.

In addition to the calming, centering effect of Qi Gong, the practice has been shown to improve many physical conditions including asthma, bone density, cerebral function impaired by senility, blood pressure, endocrine gland functions, hypertension, immune system and much more. * Qi Gong is thus a wholistic exerise in that it improves the physical well being, emotional balance and mental clarity of regular practitioners.

Raindrop Therapy

Raindrop was developed by D. Gary Young, founder of Young Living Essential Oils, based on techniques taught to him by a Lakota medicine man named Wallace Black Elk. In Lakota Native American healing practices, healers sweep a feather upwards along the spine in imitation of the Northern Lights, which are revered for their healing energy.

9 essential oils are used in raindrop: 7 single oils and 2 therapeutic blends. A person receiving raindrop lays facedown as oils are dropped up their back from a height of 6-12 inches. The oils are gently massaged in with the Lakota “feathering” motion. After the essential oils have been applied, a towel soaked in hot water is applied to the back to drive the oils further into the body.

Vitaflex, a foot reflexology technique, is used to apply the same oils to the spine reflexology points at the beginning of the raindrop.
Some benefits include:

Helps straighten Scoliosis and other spinal curves.
Assists in relief of chronic back pain.

Helpful in speeding healing time for back injuries.

Assists with Ascension related back discomfort.

Helps with arthritic conditions in spine.

Reflexology

Reflexology - Sole Matters
Reflexology is a science, which is based on the principle that there are reflex areas on the hands, feet, and ears, which relate to all of the organs, glands, and areas of the body. When these reflex areas are properly stimulated, the body can begin to achieve better health, harmony, and natural balance. Reflexology is a holistic healing modality, treating the whole individual - body, mind, and spirit. Imbalances in one aspect can affect the health of our entire being.

Benefits of Reflexology
Clients may benefit from reflexology in the following ways:
• Relaxation & reduced stress
• Improved blood, nerve, lymph supply
• Release of toxins
• Pain reduction
• Revitalized energy levels
• Emotional release
• Helping the body toward homeostasis Contraindications
A reflexologist may not be able to work with you due to certain health problems you may have.

Examples of General Contraindications:
• Unregulated blood pressure
• Untreated diabetes
• Unstable pregnancy
• Serious illness or injury
• Epilepsy or similar conditions
• Serious heart or kidney conditions
• Pitting edema/undiagnosed swelling Examples of Local Contraindications:
• Open wounds, infections, or sores •Bacterial or viral infections such as Athlete’s Foot, fungal infections, warts
• Varicose veins on the feet
• Sprains or strains History
There is archaeological evidence that footwork to promote better health was practiced by the ancient Egyptian, Chinese, Japanese, and Indian civilizations as long ago as 2500 BC.
European physicians, Dr. Adamus and Dr. A’tatis published a book on Zone therapy in 1582. Nineteenth century physicians Dr. Bell, Dr. Ivan Pavlou, and Dr. Alfons Cornelius used zone therapy and pressure points.

Research continued into the nature of reflex responses during the early 20th century.

One well-known practitioner, Dr. William Fitzgerald found that the body could be divided into ten zones running from the head to the toes, five on each side of the body. Areas of discomfort could indicate a problem at the site itself, somewhere else in the zone, or of a specific gland, organ or body part falling in that zone. Dr. Fitzgerald developed the theory of Zone Therapy.

In the 1930s a physiotherapist named Eunice Ingham defined the reflex areas more specifically. She introduced special techniques for applying pressure and holding the feet or hands while working the reflexes. She traveled throughout the United States giving workshops. Her techniques of working the hands and feet are in use throughout the world for reflexology today.
Many modern reflexologists incorporate the study of meridian theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine in their work. They see a similar clearing of energy blockages and stimulation throughout the body in the two modalities.

Children, the elderly, and the very ill can benefit from reflexology. It is given for a shorter time, with less pressure, and may be given more often.
Generally, pregnant women should be given reflexology only by a trained reflexologist as certain areas should not be stimulated.

What Happens During a Session
• An information form is filled out by the client
• The reflexologist evaluates the client’s feet and stance, hands, or ears
• The client is made comfortable on a massage table or reclining chair
• A reflexology session is given to hands, feet, or ears
• The session is discussed, plans for self-care and/or further visits are made The initial visit may take about 20 minutes for the evaluation and 60 minutes for the reflexology session. Subsequent visits may take less time as progress is noted.

A session is generally pleasant and soothing. It is non-invasive yet stimulates all the body’s systems. After the session most people feel at ease and relaxed. Some may feel sleepy, while others feel energized. With all modalities that move the body’s energy such as massage, acupressure, and reflexology there may be some effects that the client will notice. They may include a change in energy level, sleep pattern, or emotional state; headache, sinus drainage, joint aches, or flu-like symptoms. These are a part of the natural healing and balancing process and should go away within a day or so. Sometimes the problem may feel worse for a while and peak just before getting better.

Increased water intake will usually help reduce these symptoms.
A reflexologist does not prescribe or adjust medication, diagnose a specific disease or condition, or treat for a specific condition. Reflexology is not a foot, hand, or ear massage. It is a specialized technique using pressure on specific reflex points, which correspond to all the body’s parts.
Reflexology is not a substitute for medical care. It is intended as a complementary therapy to other treatments for a person's mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well being.

Reiki

Reiki is a non-invasive method of complementary healing which uses spiritually guided life force energy.

Mikao Usui, a Japanese man, rediscovered Reiki and put this ancient healing method into practice in the early 1900s. It was then introduced to the world by a lineage of healer/teachers. Chujiro Hayashi, Usui’s student, taught Reiki to a Japanese/Hawaiian woman Hawayo Takata. Mrs. Takata became the healer/teacher responsible for the spread of Reiki to the western world.

Life force energy is available to every living thing. Many cultures throughout history have had a name for this vital energy or something very similar to it – Ki, Chi, Prana, Mana, Ka, Pneuma. When a person’s life force energy is high they feel strong and ebullient. When it is low, a person feels drained and weak and becomes ill more easily. Ki is taken into our bodies from sunshine, the air around us, and the food we eat. Ki can purposely be increased by breath work, meditation, and sleep. When we are healthy Ki flows through us freely and nourishes all our body’s systems.
The life force reacts to our feelings and thoughts because it moves in us holistically. Studies conducted for allopathic medicine and science have proven that our thoughts can influence our state of health.

Scientific study has also shown the possibility that what we consider as the mind, lodges not just in the brain but in various places in our bodies where the nervous system resides. Through research and advanced imaging techniques images of an electromagnetic aura have been seen surrounding living organisms. Negative thoughts can slow down or block the flow of Ki and positive or harmonious thoughts can create a healthy state of being. Negative thoughts or feelings can build up over a period of time and remain below our conscious awareness slowly eroding our holistic health.

The word Reiki (ray-key) has been translated from the Japanese to mean universal life force energy or divine energy. When the Ki used for healing is spiritually guided as in Reiki practice, it becomes much more effective and may help with the healing of various conditions on multiple levels. Reiki, guided by spirit, is never harmful. The energy itself seems to know what is needed and works accordingly. It may relieve stress and repair and renew the flow of vital energy allowing natural healing. Reiki is not affiliated with a religion, but it is practiced in a spiritual way. The client is always honored, respected, and treated with compassion. The practitioner works from her heart.

The Reiki energy heals in a holistic way acting on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. It may ease physical problems and deal with their cause. Reiki may relieve pain and acute problems quickly. Chronic illnesses may need a series of healing sessions to show improvement. The chronic problem developed over a period of time and has moved deeper into the body physically and spiritually. It has often developed many layers of energetic density. When the Reiki energy reaches blocked areas of Ki it may act to break up these barriers and restore a healthy flow of vital energy to all the body’s systems, restoring balance or homeostasis.

Clients have reported relief from many conditions after Reiki sessions. Some of them are:

* Headaches
* Nervous tension
* Pain from acute conditions such as cuts, abrasions, bruises
* Sleep problems
* Lack of energy
* Healing of broken bones (treatment is given for this only after the bone has been set.)
* Chronic pain
* Chronic health problems
* Recovery time after surgery
* Poor outlook on life
* Lack of balance in life

Reiki is primarily used for healing but can also help a living being make a peaceful transition from life.

How Reiki Works
Scientific discoveries in the past century led to new concepts in physics. Quantum physics research has revealed a universe in which time and space are fluid, where there is no end to the smallness of particles, and where human thought has been shown to influence the outcome of experiments.

Reiki tradition teaches the Reiki energy comes from or beyond physical source and becomes transformed when it enters the physical body. It changes to accommodate the needs of the client.

We know that all things have a vibration, a wavelength, and a frequenc; and these are in a fine balance within our body. The body changes during our daily lives. It reacts to stress, trauma, diet, exercise, and good and bad events. A person’s body may succumb to disease when he or she is “out of tune” When harmony is restored wellness returns.

The Reiki practitioner acts as a channel of the energy from the source to the client. When the client’s soul is seeking healing, energy is accepted from the practitioner. It stops taking energy naturally when its need is fulfilled.

Channeling of energy
The practitioner generally channels energy by placing the hands on the client or in the person’s aura. However, because of the nature of the Reiki energy it knows no constraints of distance or time. Energy may be channeled to a distant recipient or sent forward or backward in time. Reiki energy can also be used to help plants or animals or even inanimate objects.

Reiki works well with other modalities
Reiki is easily used during reflexology, chiropractic sessions, acupuncture, massage therapy, or other body work, and during shamanic healing. It can be allowed to flow during crystal or sound healing and during psychic readings. It is excellent when used as a complementary therapy with allopathic (Western) medicine. It can enhance the healing qualities of herbs, flower essences, aromatherapy, and homeopathy.

The Reiki Practitioner
The use of Reiki is not a religion but a way of life espoused by Reiki practitioners who may also adopt concepts from many philosophies.

A Reiki practitioner strives to be a clear channel for the Reiki energy so that it can do its healing work. The practitioner maintains that he/she is only a channel for the Reiki energy and it is the client’s higher self that decides how to use the energy provided.

In order to channel the Reiki energy the practitioner has had his energy channels cleared by an attunement. This method has been passed down through the lineage of Reiki Masters from Mikao Usui. The practitioner is able to connect to the Reiki and channel it for healing.

People can channel Reiki energy without an attunement; however, the attunement opens the body to access the Reiki energy more easily. Higher level attunements open the channel further.

When people decide to become Reiki practitioners they open themselves to life changing experiences, personal introspection, and growth. They become more empathic and have a natural desire to help other people to heal. They will go through periods of learning about themselves and releasing old paradigms mentally, physically, and spiritually. When giving Reiki sessions they too receive healing energy. The practitioner’s own energy is never drawn upon because he or she is only channeling the Reiki energy.

Please Note: Reiki is not a substitute for professional health care or advice.

Vibrational Sound Therapy

Sound Healing is ancient in origin. Musicale instruments, singing and chanting were all seen to have healing properties. Sound is not just sensed by our ears but the vibrations that are created are picked up by the whole body. It is especially affective for working with the energy of body and the emotions. The chakras (energy centers) and meridians (energy channels) are very sensitive to sound. Making sounds helps us to release packed down emotions, old thought patterns, and stress.

Laughter Yoga

Laughter exercises are interspersed with breathing exercises. Scientifically it has been proved that twenty minutes of laughter is sufficient to develop full physiological benefits.

Laughter Yoga is the only technique that allows adults to achieve sustained hearty laughter without involving cognitive thought. It bypasses the intellectual systems that normally act as a brake on natural laughter.

Laughter Yoga is non-political, non religious, non-racial and non-competitive. It transcends all barriers of language, age, gender, social or racial background.

Laughter Yoga is not just being practiced - it is effectively applied in various sections of society all over the world. Millions have benefited from its incredible preventive and therapeutic powers. It is the easiest and the safest exercise for complete wellness of both the body and the mind.

Though Laughter Yoga is a boon in every sphere of human interaction, it has really benefited people undergoing nervous tension, the business world, children, and those suffering from trauma and distress.

Health Benefits Of Laughter Yoga
Laughter yoga has profound effects on our mental and physical state of being.

"For the most part, when you go and get medical treatment, a clinician is not necessarily going to tell you to take two aspirins and watch Laurel and Hardy, " says Dr. Lee Berk. "But the reality is that's where we are and it's more real than ever. There's a real science to this. And it's as real as taking a drug. "
The secret of laughter yoga is that our bodies are hardwired with some surprisingly powerful natural reactions to extended hearty laughter. These side effects include:

Blood & all major organs are fully oxygenated leaving us bursting with energy
Blood pressure drops, circulation improves and pulse rate drops;
Depression is lifted, even chronic depression is often cured;
High endorphin levels put us in a great mood and reduce any aches & pains;
Immune, digestive & sexual systems that are switched off by stress are switched on;
Self confidence is boosted, communication skills and creativity are boosted;
Our lymphatic system is massaged and our immune systems boosted;
Stress levels reduce by 75% or more and we become more stress resistant;
After just one laughter yoga session many people feel the difference. After some Laughter Yoga meditation sessions people describe surging feelings of joy and happiness.
