Therapeutic Massage
Report
Therapeutic massage refers to an eclectic blend of techniques from deep-tissue, Swedish, pressure-point and various other styles of massage. Each treatment is tailored to meet your specific needs. The entirety of a session can be focused on a certain problem area or designed to include the whole body.

Massage treatments are received at a comfortable level of undress while being draped with a blanket. Massage treatments should not be painful during or after the session. Expecting mothers are welcome during any stage of pregnancy.
Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio-Philosophy (Acupressure)
Report
Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) treatments alleviate numerous health conditions and reduce physical pain while supporting our vital life energy. They are ideal for addressing complex health issues and are appropriate for any age or level of fragility. JSJ is also a method of self-help and an art-of-living. (JSJ is not massage.)

JSJ shares deep lineage with traditional Chinese medicine theory, aligning with many ancient "healing" traditions and spiritual practices. Key subject matter includes: the breath, yin/yang, twelve major organs, body systems, pulse quality, the five elements, attitudes, the 26 "Safety Energy Locks", and much more. In essence, JSJ is a way of recognizing relationships between these and other characteristics, and how they connect with the physical body; it is a physio-philosophy.

Our health and wellness - physical, mental, and emotional - can become compromised whenever these characteristics are disturbed, whether because of injury, daily living, environment, or genetic inheritance. With JSJ physio-philosophy, we have tools to support our complete health by simply using our hands and engaging our breath. The body is in constant flux, changing with each breath and every pulse, and it is quite responsive to human touch.
Craniosacral Therapy
Report
The term "craniosacral" comes from the words "cranium", the head, and "sacrum", just above the tailbone. Popularized by Dr. John Upledger D. O., Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a very safe and gentle method of bodywork derived from osteopathic manual techniques.

The Craniosacral System is intimately connected with our central nervous system. CST treatments have a profound ability to bring deep relaxation to the physical body, accelerating homeostasis (the innate ability of an organism to adjust its physiological processes to balance itself) . Some CST techniques help uncover and resolve buried emotional trauma; traumatic experiences that can be stored in our tissues and ultimately interfere with our physical and psychological health. Releasing theses energetic cysts is referred to as a somato-emotional release.

CST treatments are great for all stresses, migraine headaches, TMJ disorder, anxiety, and many other health conditions. Treatments are received over clothing. (CST is not massage.)
