I visited Masters Touch after hearing the 'back talk' ad on the radio. My issue was lower back pain that would flare up after long trips(plane, car etc). I also had a numb spot that would trouble me on and off. After several adjustments, the lower back pain no longer is an issue, even after cross country flights.
Visit frequency can vary according to the seriousness of a patient's problem, from several visits to about 20 - 40 visits. It can take 1 day up to 6 months. Most of our auto patients reach stable or complete healing back to their original pre-accident condition within 3 - 4 months. Similar to pushing a ball up a hill, more effort is required early on.
When I was dating my wife to be, I found out that she had mid-back pain that caused breathing difficulty. When I palpated her spine, I suspected that she had been in a previous automobile accident. She replied that she had been in a wreck two years prior. I was able to help her, but I could not cure her completely because she had waited too long.
Automobile accident injuries are typically covered by an insurance policy under the Personal Injury Protection (PIP) portion. This small portion is exclusively intended to pay for all medical / chiropractic services associated with injuries from an accident. PIP pays for direct access to chiropractic care, but patients can come through other doctor's referrals as well.
Hurt on the job? Chiropractic care for work injuries is covered by worker's compensation insurance in both Oregon and Washington. In Oregon, chiropractors are allowed to be attending physician and treat an injured worker for 18 visits or 60 days from the date of the first visit, whichever comes first.

I have had 2 back surgeries. I lost feeling and control of my left arm. I decided to try dr Okamoto since I heard great things about him. Fact is they are true. He treats every aspect of your injury. He is the first chiropractor that has actually cured my issue in just a few visits and released me back to the world. I would recommend him over and over.
Truly corrects soft tissue damage and opens up nerves from being piniched. His all body treatments are like none other that I have experienced. If you have back or nerve issues go see him. You will not be disappointed true all body healing.

This place is amazing! I've been coming here for over a year. The doctor is very knowledgeable. The staff is nothing shy of amazing! They don't just crack your back here like other chiropractor's. Previously I went to Yoder Chiropractic, he was a complete joke (pathetic) compared to this place. Every time you come in the therapy is tailored to what you need that day. They are extremely flexible and are open on Saturdays! I would recommend this place to anyone with back problems!

Dr. Okamoto is skilled but this is not an ethical practice. I was repeatedly told that I would pay one amount, then charged double. I complained about it after the first visit and I thought that they would not dare do it again. Well they did. I was told that I would only pay what my insurance approved and they would credit me back the difference. Instead they charged me double and when I asked about the credit - they said that I was responsible for it.
I spent almost 2k out of my own pocket and I have high deductible plan, all the money I spent is not even going toward my deductible because they charged me more then insurance approved. The worst part is that the treatment did not work for me. If you are paying out of pocket - turn around and find another place, these people can not be trusted;

I was recently rear ended. What started as just a sore neck turned into a very painful debilitating problem. Dr. Okamoto fit me in the day I called and has helped me so much! I saw him four times this week and using multiple modalities I can return to work next week. He is wonderful and so is his staff! Special shout out to his terrific massage therapist. I am amazed that I went from terrible pain one Monday to going to work the following Monday.

My boyfriend has heard their commercials for a long time. Repeatedly telling me i need to go. Well when our youngest got injured in football and his regular doctor kept insisting it was lumbar strain and wouldn't listen to him when he said it feels like his bones and he can't walk. We finally took him to Dr. Okamoto. Who took an xray and discovered his hip was out and due to him being very toned.
His muscles were pulling his spine into a J shape. After a few weeks of therapy he is back to tip top shape. A few months later i lost the ability to walk. After one visit he pin pointed my issue. And had me walking straighter than i had in years. I look forward to my future visits and how he can finally relived the constant pain ive been in. That regular docs jusy tried to give pills to mask it.
And his staff, they always have a smile and nothing but kind gentle understanding of.y pain. I feel so blessed. Please go see him dont hesitate like i did. You won't be sorry

I was in a severe rearend car accident back in the mid 90s. God lead me to seek help from Dr Paul Okamoto. Words cannot express how wonderful his adjustments and physical therapy, not to mention his prayers, worked on my low back injury... Although I now have other issues now, I have had lasting improvement from the wonderful hands and knowledge of Dr Okamoto. You will never regret seeing him. ❤

The numb spot on my upper back is an on and off issue, but its getting better as my posture improves.
This was my first visit to a chiropractor, so I have no frame of reference for how good or bad things were. However I can say this with certainty; my back feels much better after the treatment. I have to mention the staff as well. Customer service was top notch, everyone has a smile and is very nice.

One visit, through exam, a few x-rays and the words "yes, I can help you." A few manipulations (albeit a bit painful) of my foot with instant relief and no pain after a few weeks! I'm walking normally after a few months of procrastination. My hip discomfort has also disappeared! I am more careful on lifting and twisting and turning... which is a constant for me.
I cannot be more pleased and will return IMMEDIATELY with any new aches or pains. Yes, my wife finally got me to go to him... thanks dear! Dr. Okamoto and his staff (William, Moses, Deborah and Alan) are just great folks. My thanks to all of you.
