Full 5 stars for sure! This place has got some of the most amazing vegan dessert and food options I've seen at a natural grocer before! I would definitely say this is less of a grocery store and more of a quick cute little spot to grab a beverage and an awesome meal for an awesome price! So worth it and so cool omg! So tasty!

Yummmmm Fooooood: got the vegan steak sandwich which was delicious and filling. Obviously it doesn't taste like steak (I don't think I even ate steak when I wasn't vegan though so who am I to judge). It resembles a vegan friend chicken sandwich more tbh, but i don't care and it was yummy. Also got a vegan fried cinnamon sugar donut twist to go and it was so delicious.

I'm a donut junkie, always searching for a vegan yeast cinnamon sugar donut and this hit the spot. Simple, sweet, perfect. It's a really good thing I don't live close enough to walk and I hate driving because I'd end up getting a baked good here every day. Parking: easy lot behind the building. I think I visited during a not busy time but had more than like 3 spots and it's always nice not to have anxiety over this bit. Seating: indoor and also some outdoor seating if you are brave during these 90-100 degree weather days.

I understand vegan desserts can be complex to duplicate traditional ingredients desserts. Nothing that I've eaten from this place has been good. I've been twice. I won't be back. The first time was vegan TRES LEECHES. awful. I mean it was a stretch to begin with but I thought let me give it a try. it was DRY! Two years later (April 2022) I tried them again with gluten free red velvet $75. HARD & DRY!

The kids didn't even eat it. I called to make them aware - I was given a bunch of excuses that made me think - why even sell this cake!? They offered me a 50% off coupon on my next purchase - I didn't want it, I won't be back. The point of my post is that they seem to be selling a gimmick - sell vegan desserts with great descriptions that taste awful. If you're vegan or have a gluten allergy and have eaten amazing desserts - this is NOT the place.

Enchiladas Nortenas, ok. But rice definitely the chief needs to go back school. I was here back on 2003. It was completely different. More authentic. I also get a cranberry muffin that looked really good outside. Brown and crispy but inside was complete uncooked. I just trowed away. This comments are with the only purpose of improvement. And make the owener be aware of all areas that needs more attention.

Great place. My husband order mole enchiladas and he loved it. I had a vegan German chocolate cake and it was AWESOME! It's the reason we stopped in Austin on our way to San Antonio.

First off, the hours on Yelp are wrong, and they are currently open 8AM-3PM Monday-Saturday. They only have 2 tables of outdoor seating right now. Unfortunately, because the food is exceptional. I had the vegan fish wrap. I was skeptical because the "fish" is made of seitan, and while the texture wasn't flaky or soft like fish, something about the seasoning and breading on the fry did make me think of fish. Came with cabbage slaw, avocado, rice, and a side of lemon and lettuce. It was really surprisingly good! No, you wouldn't mistake it for real fish, but it was still something I would go back for.

A must-visit for vegans in Austin. They have plentiful gluten free options for any time of day and their entire dessert selection is vegan and DELICIOUS. The environment is relaxed and you can easily spend hours here without feeling rushed at all. So happy I found this place. A hidden gem!

I love Mr. Natural! Ordered the seitan fish burrito. So tasty and so satisfying. Lots of great vegan options here. Also the mini chocolate donuts are bomb. My only criticism is to please try to incorporate less plastic in your take out options. After ordering 8 delicious donuts that I ate almost immediately, I was stuck with a giant clunky clamshell container.

I would've been happy with a a small compostable paper bag. so much more eco friendly. Also, although I love the hole in the wall feel, we've got to fix the mold on the ceiling. off putting when you're dining in.

As someone with Celiac, my biggest struggle is my love of baked goods. Do I go outside of my diet occasionally? Absolutely, and I'm definitely not alone in that or in frequently regretting it due to food that sounded, smelled, or looked way better than it tasted. I keep a bottle of glutenease with me at all times because you never know, and while it does help, it doesn't completely solve the issue. Honestly, gluten-free desserts can be even more disappointing than a standard gluten-filled dessert a lot of the time. Thankfully, Mr. Naturals is one of the few places I can find incredible gluten-free cakes that solve the issue of poor flavor, texture, etc. and I don't have to worry about taking any meds of feeling like I'm being stabbed.

I first happened upon Mr. Naturals several years ago and was blown away by the gluten free coconut cake. Now I'm lookin go at ordering a carrot or coconut cake for my dad's upcoming birthday and it's such a hard decision because everything here is amazing! If you are someone with celiac or any other dietary restriction that causes you to be careful with select ingredients, I highly recommend checking Mr. Naturals out!

I am extremely disappointed in Mr. Natural. I had them make my wedding cake since I'm lactose intolerant, and I wanted to enjoy my cake without the repercussions of consuming dairy. First, the cake was delivered 3 hours late after I spent $255 on delivery. Second, the cake was NOT the design we discussed. I was given a mediocre-half-built cake. Third, the middle tier was not the flavor we selected.

I asked for a lavender cake with a creamy lemon custard, we were given lavender cake with a kind of lemon pudding with pieces of lemon in it. We tasted the cakes beforehand and what we were served was not what was presented at tasting. Jesus checked with me the day before to make sure he had the delivery time right then the day of claimed my wedding was three hours after the time he confirmed the day before.

He said he would get with me the day after the wedding to talk compensation and he never messaged me. I had to message him days later, when I got back from my honeymoon. He said he would refund my delivery fee and when I asked for more than that he did not message me back. I do not recommend using this store for a wedding/big event cake. If you need a vegan cake go down the street to Capital City Bakery. Photos attached are a drawing Jesus did of what the cake would look like and the picture is the cake he left me with.

The meals were very small portioned and they came to us warmish. Soooooooo crazy overpriced. Flautas de papas for 14? I would give them 1 star but the beans were good cold or not. There are plenty of other places you can get vegan Mexican food, save yourself the trouble of this place.

Omg their tacos are amazing! So many vegan options to choose from as well as baked goods. Wish they were open about hour or two later!

Although prompt, the food was not good. I ordered the spinach and mushroom enchiladas with black beans and rice., The verde sauce (not spicy) on the enchiladas was extremely salty and I had to totally scrape it off the entire dish to make the enchiladas edible. The rice given to me was so dry that it was crunchy and inedible. To me it felt like they scraped up the bottom of the rice dish after a whole day sitting uncovered drying out under a heat lamp.

It was not fresh at all. Basically I ended up eating chips, vegan tasteless oat queso and black beans for dinner that cost $30. I've have picked up small grab and go snacks from Mr Natural that have been tasty, but I will not ever order takeout for dinner again. I'll look to Boldin Creek in the future.

Customer service and food was lacking. I can say the tamales were very good. I also ordered the vegetable soup. The broccoli in the soup was yellow which meant it had been sitting around for a while and started to go bad before they cooked it but they still chose to serve it in their food. They probably need a visit from the health department for their food storage practices. Couldn't eat the soup after seeing that they used old veggies. I asked the you g girl waiting on me some questions about the food and all she could say was "I don't know". Way too expensive for old, dried up vegetables.

Very good lunch specials. I love the salad dressing and sometimes will ask them to put some on the rice too! Amazing food, easy to park. Five stars for sure!

I ordered the "fish" wrap. it was fresh, but tasted more like fried chicken. not sure I would get again as a first choice. The queso was the worst part of the meal. no taste and would not order again (Bouldin Creek has a better option). The mini choc donut was yummy.

Mr. Natural combines two of my favorite things: fresh, tasty vegan dishes and a sweet hole-in the wall atmosphere. I had the vegan enchiladas nortenas and savored every bit of it. Thank goodness for vegan cuisine that isn't the same old vegan burger story. Mr. Natural serves up meals that feel like homemade food. I'll be back for more!

Completely blown away. Everything was wonderful. Queso. All flavor of tamales. Vegan enchiladas. Tres leches chocolate cake. And peanut butter chocolate cake. But MOST of all the workers there. So friendly and helpful! Another reason to shop local and take care of those small businesses!

The food was kind of overpriced for the quality. The hibiscus tea was really good though. I ordered a slice of cake and the worker gave it away to another customer I said can I have my cake I paid for and he just said oh I gave it away do you want something for the same price or less or a refund? I was going to share the slice with my husband so I asked how much two smaller pastries would be and he said oh yeah those cost more so you can only get one. didn't seem to give two shits about customer service. I ended up getting a gluten free slice of cake which was drier than a Saharan desert. Both locations were bad

It's only natural to fall in love with Mr. Natural. Really, those spinach and mushroom enchiladas are quite swoon-worthy, and I know I'll lust after the seitan fish taco on lonely nights. The meatless menudo is one spicy little fling, especially if you carelessly toss in all the diced peppers (which of course I did without thinking.) If you want a dish to cuddle up with though, to take comfort in after a tough day, the mole fries are definitely your new boo.

First time in, picked up Frozen Tamales made in house lots of varieties I got Tofu and Sunflower seed. These are the BEST Veggie Tamales I've ever.ever had. also picked up some cookies on sale they tasted great lightly sweetened with Agave. The kitchen employee told me the best way to heat the tamales.and like I said.they were great. Menu looks really healthy and lots of variety.

Love finding places like this.in life in general. I'm not a regular yelper.but this made me want to come and say some nice stuff cause.yeah good news is way fun. Noticed the hours have changed to 9PM close.needs to be updated on here. I look forward to coming back here and bring in friends with me.

So now that I've been to both locations, I understand why people so strongly prefer East Austin. There's so much more variety, and also, better display with labels for each item and its ingredients. I do like having this location near me but do wish they would put a bit more effort into it.

I was excited to get the chalupas after craving them for weeks while in quarantine. Unfortunately, the servers, cooks and cashiers were only wearing masks over their mouths and not their noses. What's the point? Customers are also not required to wear masks while in the restaurant. Several large groups came in not wearing masks and not social distancing.

One girl was even on her phone taking loudly about having had a fever for several days and fatigue. The tables are at least spread out but I won't feel confident going back when protocols are so lax.

Enjoyed the vegan chili relleno plate very much! In fact, I'm a member of the clean plate club here. Lots of variety on the menu, and being on a diet, I am delighted to enjoy a healthy vegan Mexican food meal. Thanks everyone!

For my gluten free peeps out there, you may be excited by their number of GF offerings, but quantity doesn't equal quality here! The funfetti GF cake was the driest cake I've ever encountered and lacked any kind of sweetness or flavor. If I had to think of a flavor. it's how I imagine cardboard would taste. Two stars for their GF peach muffin which tasted good but did fall apart quite easily. 3 items can easily set you back $15+.
