When I started going to Dr. Shockley, I was in the worst pain of my life! I had gone to the ER twice and was given Fentanyl of which didn't touch the pain! I was given another Combination of drugs to knock me out for days. I had to take a leave of absence from work. When Dr. Shockley put me on Decompression I was grasping at straws! It worked! I still have pain but NOTHING even close to what it was before! Nothing a Tylenol can't help with! Oakview Chiropractic and Dr. Shockley saved me!

Dr. Shockley is so nice and welcoming! His staff are equally as nice and so helpful, they really go above and beyond for your needs! I've been seeing Dr. Steve for many years, and will never go anywhere else! I always feel like a new person after leaving his office. Definitely recommend this office 100 percent!

I went to Dr. Shockley for my chronic lower back pain. I had a discectomy L4/L5 in 2012, after suffering for 5 years with back pain. Post surgery, my pain returned, and I have had increasing back pain since. I had a child in 2019 and my back pain was exacerbated during pregnancy and I tried several options to reduce my back pain after my pregnancy, as the pain was limiting my ability to be the mom I wanted to be, but had no success.
My back surgeon told me I now have 2 other bulging discs and my only option was a fusion. I saw an ad on Facebook for Oakview Chiropractic, specifically decompression therapy. I was a little skeptical, because it was a Facebook advertisement. I figured I had nothing to lose, so let's give it a shot. I absolutely love Dr. Shockley, he is knowledgeable and personable, and made me feel like he actually cared how I was feeling and was concerned about my pain.
I completed 8+ weeks of decompression therapy, with Dr. Shockley adjusting me and caring for my back. Unfortunately due to the virus, work, and life schedule getting too busy I stopped going around September/October of 2020. I thought for sure my pain would return. I was wrong. It has been over 6 months and I can say with certainty that Dr. Shockley got rid of my back pain.
I am eternally grateful for his kindness, his care and for helping me become pain free, something I didn't think was possible after suffering with backpain for nearly 15 years.

I started going to Dr. Shockley about 3 weeks ago. My MRI revealed that I have 4 herniated disc and I have been in considerable amount of pain for a long time. Dr. Shockley did a great job of explaining the issues I have, and what it is going to take to correct it. I truly am noticing a difference in my pain level and ability to function. Dr. Shockley is a very compassionate individual, he stayed late so I could continue to get my treatments while I was doing shift work. The staff are fantastic, Lisa and Kim do a great job of keeping your appointments on time and making sure your needs are met. I am very grateful for the OCC.

I have 6 herniated discs in my lower back, Sciatica and have lived in chronic pain for over 10 years. I started seeing Dr Shockley 5 weeks ago. I am excited bc I am seeing improvement and having less pain including a few days with zero pain. He uses some techniques that are not common to many Chiropractors around. He is an outstanding Chiropractor, brings 35+ years experience to the Practice. I would highly recommend him any day of the week.

I have been a patient for years now and have truly benefited from the chiropractic adjustments along with nutritional and weight-loss expertise Dr. Shockley provides. I have been seeing Dr. Shockley since Sept 1992 - when the only established medical care I was offered was "see you in a few years for surgery." Dr. Shockley has kept me mobile and out of the operating room while I have lived in Omaha. He considers the entire body when treating me, and answers my questions readily and honestly. Dr. Shockley has helped me help myself to get stronger and more fit.
My husband Frank also has health issues, and Dr. Shockley has been able to help him as well. He has even come in on weekends when Frank has been hurt, as well as fitting me in to his calendar when I have needed urgently needed his care.

Dr. Shockley is great! I first sought care after headaches, dizziness and a sore neck following a round with a stomach virus. My primary care physician could find no reason for the symptoms. I decided to try chiropractic care and called Oakview Chiropractic. Dr. Shockley could get me in that day for an evaluation. Turns out I had a rib that was out of place!
I have continued my care with Dr. Shockley for over 3 years. He has always been able to make me feel better and heal faster from sprained ankles to a lower back issue from a car accident.
