I was a personal trainer & student of chiropractic until a severe car accident left me crippled and housebound. Acupuncture and osteopathic bodywork gave me a complete recovery despite multiple doctors' predictions that I'd be permanently disabled. Now I love to help other people regain their health using the same techniques.

Sharon is a wonderful practitioner, compassionate and dedicated. Even during the time of coronavirus she was able to help me with a virtual session deal with some pulled muscles and give me feedback on stretches, diet changes and other things that would help me move better. It was so great to have access to that and to be able to consult with her. Highly recommend.

Sharon is a miracle worker. I'm extremely needle phobic and she successfully got my right knee to be able to take a load again using acupuncture. She did this at an event where I was fighting. Not only did it not complain the entire event (3 days of fighting) but it is now physically impossible to put my foot down wrong. I highly recommend anybody I know in the Portland metro area use her.

Customer Testimonials

Sharon is AMAZING You MUST have her work her magic on you - I'm not kidding when I say I would kill to have her closer to me so I can have therapy sessions on a regular basis. Totally amazing - you will feel 176% better!

I was in terrible pain due to an adverse reaction to a new prescription from my doctor. I hadn't slept in four nights and I was taking 800 mg of Motrin every four hours to no effect. My doctor ordered blood tests and ruled out other causes and wanted to give me Percocet for the pain. I knew from experience that I would react badly to Percocet. I left the doctor's office with no hope and a possible referral to a busy rheumatologist who could see me the following week. I knew I'd never make it. I called Sharon Rose. She made a house call and saw me that afternoon. Immediately, I was free of pain and slept that night. After 12 hours, some of the pain and swelling returned but with treatments from Sharon every other day I was soon totally off the Motrin, free of pain, free of swelling, and feeling the best I've felt in years.

Sharon is as spiritually grounded as any alternative healer I have ever met and at the same time she's refreshingly pragmatic. She gives you exactly what you need.

From Our Website

Acupuncture uses fine needles carefully inserted at key points along the energetic channels. By moving stagnant energy, or supplementing energy in deficient areas, acupuncture stimulates the body's natural self-curative abilities. The needles are very tiny - about the size of a human hair - and single-use disposable for your safety. Techniques include TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Japanese style, Tan, ah shi, Korean hand, auricular, scalp zone, and 5 Element. Cosmetic acupuncture works by increasing collagen production, improving muscle tone, and stimulating circulation of blood and lymph to the face.

Hour sessions, new patient appointments or a combo of acupuncture and medical massage, are $100 each, or available as a package of four for $370. Half-hour sessions of Osteopathic-style therapeutic bodywork (medical massage) are $60, or 5 for $270. This is gentle, advanced medical massage that corrects how your muscles function by repairing their nerves and connective tissues. This work is extremely efficient; we can get great results in half an hour. Half-hour follow-up sessions of acupuncture only are $60, or 5 for $270.

For nearly ten years of my professional life I was a bodily injury insurance adjuster so there was some initial cynicism when my wife told me she wanted to try acupuncture as a way of relieving her intense low back pain. By "intense" I am referring to a 10 on the pain scale. Today, two days after her visit with Sharon, she is still feeling incredible relief. I am in shock and cannot convey how grateful we are to Sharon for her help. If you have ever considered acupuncture but were not sure, this is the person to meet with.

You're really choosing me, Sharon Rose. There are plenty of great acupuncturists in town: Here's why I'm different. First, the osteopathic bodywork I do affects how your muscles work. It creates lasting change, so you truly heal instead of simply feeling the temporary relaxation of a regular massage. The other major difference is that I make a point to only see one patient at a time; I will never ignore you to treat other people in another room. Your experience will be private and relaxing. I'm extra gentle, even as acupuncturists go.

For your appointment, you don't need to wear anything special. If I need to treat a clothed area, I'll step out while you undress and make yourself comfortable under the sheet/blanket on the massage table. Your privacy and comfort are always respected. Note: If you have an open motor vehicle claim and want me to bill your insurance company directly, please use this form instead. If you have MRI or X-ray reports, or any medical records that would be helpful, please bring copies of them as well. We will discuss your history and condition, and determine which therapies are most appropriate.
