My therapist is competent, experienced and humane. Besides the above skills, she is also able to understand and connect therapeutically and as a person. The skills she brings to a session are extraordinary and she makes connections between events that would not appear relevant at first. Admire and respect Dr. DeSouza and her skills.

Amazing customer care, the girls in the front are super nice and they always remember me. Dr Sam is amazing, he definitely saved my back! I have been coming to Shin Wellness for over 7 years. I primarily see Dr. Gallego for chiropractic adjustments and she is the absolute best! She has helped me with so much more than chiropractic issues and always goes above and beyond for her patients. The rest of the Shin staff is also fabulous! Everyone is welcoming and inviting and really takes the time to listen to your needs. I cannot picture my life without Shin in it!

I've been going to Shin Wellness since the summer of 2007. I haven't gone anywhere else for my chiropractic needs since. Even when I haven't been there in a while, I always return because of the quality of service and customer care. Shin Wellness is one of Miami's gems when it comes to health and wellness services.

Can't say enough positive things about this place. This was my first time seeing a chiropractor and it went so much better than I ever expected! I called the office because I recently had a back injury and was pretty certain I had a pinched nerve. The two ladies at the front desk were so helpful and caring and put me on a wait list for same day appointment in case someone cancelled Sure enough someone did!

I was able to receive two different treatments and an alignment that made me feel ten times better and actually able to sit down without screaming Dr. Wendy is simply wonderful and I can't recommend her enough

Dr. Sam and his staff are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. Dr. Sam takes a great deal of time assessing your current condition, and sets goals for your treatment. I would recommend Shin wellness to anyone!

I have a large frame and I used to drive to Pembroke Pines to see a chiropractor as it can be difficult to find someone having the healing hands able to manage bigger guys. A lot of my firefighting comrades would go, walk in hunched over in pain and walk out normally. His office closed. It was not easy to find another until I found Dr. Sam Rassoul at Shin Wellness in Miami.

He's very knowledgeable, listens to you, formulates his treatment plan and has the capable and magic healing hands to get you back in service, corrected, back on the bike, or just back to normal. It took a while to find another chiropractor who was capable and effective and provided what I needed and didn't push for more. I'm retired now and when I need a correction, a tweak and some occasional maintenance because I'm kinda worn down from the years, I take a short ride down the street to Shin Wellness for what ever I need to keep the machine running smooth. I have been a Patient of Shin Wellness for over 3 years. Dr. Gallego is amazing she takes her time in her treatments and makes sure that you understand why she is recommending the treatments. Shin Wellness got me from awful lower back pain. Pain that would not allow me to enjoy any of my hobbies. Today I am back playing Golf with a 3 handicap and going down.

She has gotten me back to playing competitive golf. This means playing 3 day events. Playing three days in a row was never easy before my lower back Injury. After my Injury I never thought I would ever play competitive golf again. Playing 3 days in row Today is still tough because the warm up time is longer and very important. For three years I have been using a number of their services- chiropractic, massage, acupuncture and have been extremely happy with the results and the care they have given me. They care about me and how I am feeling and what is going on in my life and as a result of listening they can help correct certain behaviors or approaches for better health. We all need that with all the stresses we face each and every day. I highly recommend checking them out and trying some of their services-you will feel good that you did!

What an amazing place! Right when you walk in you are greeted with warm smile's from the office staff who are there to help and assist. Upon my second visit, they greeted me by name, and continue to make me feel welcomed. They are so kind, and attentive. When I had a question about a service, they not only shared the information with me, but also shared with me what my insurance would cover.

That is going above and beyond. I have never been a fan of chiropractic care, however I gave it a try Because I could hardly turn my head, and was in so much pain when I tried. I couldn't believe the results! It was such a great help, Even just after the first visit, I had so much more range of motion in my neck. On another occasion, I had Sharon give me a therapeutic massage.

It was truly magical. I came in, she asked what my specific concerns were and not only worked on those areas to relieve my pain, but also demonstrated and showed me how to do some stretches at home, which was extremely helpful. After I had tweaked my back, so bad that I could hardly walk, they were able to treat me and make a huge difference. I would highly recommend you go visit this caring and effective office where they are truly there to help you.

Chad for acupuncture is incredible! I'm one who is not a fan of needles, but his work is magical! I've had a knee injury from back in high school when I played softball and after over 20 years he fixed/cured my knee! You leave the session feeling so zen and the days after even better! I highly recommend this facility. The staff is great and very friendly.

Since I became a Shin Wellness patient, Dr. Wendy and her team of dedicated hard workers, my life change positively and my lower back pain and condition disappeared with just a few sessions. Today, I am a regular and happy patient who knows that when you treat yourself with the right professionals, you feel great and you live better too. I have been through a whirlwind of treatment for my back injury over the years and no one has been as ignorant or selfish as this lady. Chiropractors are not accepted as members of the medical community and have about half the schooling as most Doctors. After a treatment she convinced me was in my best interest and upon looking backwards clearly outside of her scope of practice, I had to immediately go to the Emergency room for a two level epidural as she had aggravated the injury so severely i was left unable to walk or stand. Good luck and i hope she doesn't ruin any one else body and mind.

CHAD IS A HEALER! Wow! I found this place about a year and half ago, started going and loved it. Took a break for a while but went back yesterday because I fell in the rain down four steps before Christmas and have not able to bend over, tie my shoes, basically day to day sitting and moving I was In constant pain. I made an appointment with chad, Maria the front desk is so nice, and went to see chad yesterday.

He said this morning I should feel better And guess what! I CAN BEND, stretch, move. I'm like 85% back to normal after one session! I can not wait to return next week! Thank you Chad!

This is my second time coming for acupuncture and it was the best. Where massages do well for most, acupuncture works better for me for the long run. Anytime I need a fix, I always come here. They're all very professional, courteous and make me feel very comfortable. Each time I've had Chad for my acupuncturist and he does a phenomenal job! Totally worth every penny.

Massage so good I found myself drifting off anticipating the next one. Every treatment (chiropracter, accupuncture, massage) I've had at Shin Wellness has been delivered with so much love, care, and professionalism, I am so grateful that these healers are available to me and treat me so well.

Love them and their service! All the doctors are super nice and the scheduling is super flexible and they even give you a reminder the day before your appointment, which I surely appreciate. I go for neurofeedback and therapy, and it surely helps! If you're thinking of doing neurofeedback, this is the place to do it!

DON'T BOTHER! BUY A TENNIS BALL, PLACE IT BETWEEN YOUR BACK AND THE WALL AND MASSAGE YOURSEL! This at least will loosen something. I went in for a shoulder issue that had been lingering for a month. They did not take my isurance, but Based on the reviews, I made an appointment and paid out of pocket, sure that i would be cured in the same day or couple of days after at least. 2 visits later, ( they failed to mention that the follow up was an additional $80.00 along with the $260.00 for the 1st visit) $340.00 spent, and i still had the same pain. Diagnosis was i had scoliosis, ( shoulder still killing me).

After second visit, I was told I can get treatment and possibly correct my scoliosis, for &1800.00, :((( (SHOULDER STILL HURTS) Oh i can pay in installments. WTF? REALLY? Bad choice on my part to have every step foot in this place. Smart choice, I didn't fall for the trap. I found a Neuromuscular therapist that cured me in 30 minutes for way way way less. DON'T FALL FOR THE TRAP

I have been coming here since my accident. This is a very professional group. From the minute I stepped into the office I knew I was in good hands. Dr Enrique Flores is a dedicated physician and has helped my neck injury. The employees are awesome and always ask me how I am feeling. I highly recommend Shin Wellness

Condition: degenerative disk disease I'm a 6'4, 230 lbs sport guy. I played basketball and worked out at the gym almost everyday, until I hurt my back (from L5 to L1) as the time went by. It was constantly painful that I couldn't even iron my shirt or do any other physical activity. For months I tried nonsurgical treatment with a physical therapy which didn't work at all.

The surgery options are way too risky to even try it. I kept doing research for options, then I found the spinal decompression and it has been a total success. Shin Wellness know how to deal with my problem, and the treatment show me real results. The staff "I could not ask for anything better " Dr Gallego, Karen, Beth, Cindy, and specially Julio is been taking care of my treatment for the past months. Cindy taught me many effective exercises to stretch and decompress my body that I put to use before working out at the gym.

I still undergoing with the treatment, and everyday I take one step closer to be 100% healthy. At least now I'm going back to my daily activities like running, jumping, lifting. I'm really happy, so thanks everyone for everything.

MORE PAIN THAN WHEN YOU ARRIVE! I was excited to visit this facility because of all the GREAT reviews I read here on Yelp about Shin. My personal experience was anything but GREAT. First, no one picks up the phone. Constant answering machines.and then they don't return you call. You have to spend all your time calling hoping someone will pick up.

Then they don't give you any information about services or prices.they want to check your insurance first. And they will only except out of network insurances. BIG RED FLAG! This means they only want to con your insurance out of money.out of network so they are not stuck with pre-negotiated prices as with network providers. And they tell you, no money out of your pocket.so, if you are stupid, they get rich.

They took my insurance info.but never called me back. Possibly because I was not a car accident victim, PIP insurance claim. I continued to press on. Finally got in. I was going to pay cash and deal with my insurance claims myself. One visit, OK. Next visit, they caused me more pain than when I first arrived. I thought that maybe you have to get worse to get better.so I gave them another visit.

On the third visit, I could not walk or even stand up straight. I had to go to the ER. I was told that what they did to me (treatment) should not have been done. I never went back. Now I have received my Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company. I have overpaid and Shin was to reimburse me. I went into Shin with the documents from the insurance company and spoke with Dr. Gallego (owner).

What a rude and arrogant woman. She immediately started giving me a 101 excuses, none of which I gave a sh*t on how she ran her business. My only concern was how much I paid and the insurance coverage. SHE REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME! I got my insurance company involved, whom wrote to her and demanded that she return the money. I guess she thought about it (having insurance company involved) because she finally returned the money.

She never said sorry, I made a mistake. Her arrogant self, wrote a letter stating that it is difficult to keep up with all the insurance rules. I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THIS PLACE NO STARS.BUT YOU MUST ENTER ONE. SO THIS WHY I GAVE IT ONE STAR. IF YOU HURT, AND COULD RUN, RUN! Dr. Gallego posted a comment on my review and posted a personal letter between us. NOW THAT'S PROFESSIONAL. What ever happened to patient confidentially? Shin Wellness is amazing! My co-worker had recommended it when I hurt my back earlier this year. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, and the staff is extremely helpful and professional. Dr. Flores (chiropractor) is a miracle worker! I have experienced two back spasms this past year (mostly due to poor posture and the way I sit at work), and each time he has fixed me right up.

He even gave me his cell phone number and asked me to call him after hours to let him know how I was doing. This is one of the few places where they genuinely care about their clients. which includes NOT prescribing pain medication. It's a holistic approach that more doctors should adopt. I have also attended one of Nanci Levine's free group hypnosis sessions. check out their website and sign up to attend!

She does them once a month. The only down side is that the health insurance plans I have had this year (AvMed and BCBS) do not consider Shin Wellness "In-Network". A session is $75 and it goes down to $50 on your tenth visit, so it's still pretty reasonable even without the health insurance coverage. A great place to go when you are, or hopefully are not, in pain!
