Every town, seemingly, has one. A business owner that is over-the-top aggressively anti vaxxer and anti masker. And here in Taos, our version of that is Caroline Colonna. At the beginning of the pandemic, when all hell was breaking loose, this 'Dr' was in the local paper spreading the message that masks were actually dangerous and she started a petition to try and make sure that children could play soccer, up close and personal, without a mask. Remember, this was before the vaccine was a reality, and thousands were dying every day.
Then the vaccine blessedly became a reality, and lo, she is virulently anti vaxxer. A few day ago, whilst driving by the Willow Clinic, there attached to the fence in front of the clinic was a six foot sign that stated 'WHY CAN'T YOU SUE VACCINE CORPS' or thereabouts. And in the clinic, no masks have been or will be found. She's a true wingnut and others can die painfully by her wingnuttiness, and that belays any positives i'm sure she possesses. Stay far far far away.
