Digital cards provides quick delivery and you can specify the email address and date of delivery! Physical cards are available at the Studio on West Market Street. The gift cards can be used for everything that we offer, including classes and props!
Many students of yoga express interest in booking private yoga sessions with an instructor. An opportunity to work on a specific home program designed just for you and your needs or desires. Personal attention to help you work on a specific pose, like moving past your fear of doing headstand in the middle of the room, or those challenging backbends.
Terry Brown, E-RYT 500, co-director of the Triad Yoga Institute, has been a student of yoga and meditation since 1984. Terry's extensive journey in the study of yoga has led him to study with a variety of teachers and traditions; however he now considers Aadil Palkhivala, co-founder of Purna Yoga, his main teacher and influence.

For the most part teachers and classes are good enough for the area. Less competitive than other studios I've been to. Though be warned about teacher training. The owner and instructor of the training classes seems less than excepting. Not really getting much genuine light and love coming off of him. I felt judged over all in my case, for status and weight. However I think that's an unavoidable part of Southern culture. Thought I could get away from it at a yoga studio, but was mistaken. Still, I got relief from pain.

Triad Yoga Institute is a truly unique and amazing place. The instructors are all extremely knowledgeable, professional, and highly experienced. They are also kind, compassionate, encouraging and nurturing. They make yoga fun, interesting, and accessible to everyone. The students are just as wonderful. No matter what class (or level) you are in, everyone is there to learn and grow in their own practice of yoga - and yet every class has a noticeable, palpable, unique and incredible "group energy" where everyone feels welcomed, celebrated, and encouraged!

Amazing place to learn and practice yoga. Each and every instructor here is thorough in their knowledge. They teach from their heart and make sure that everyone gets the attention they need (adjustment to a pose etc). You feel good as soon as you enter and you feel energized when you leave.

My wife and I love Triad Yoga. She had terrible back problems, but the yoga there has cured the back issues and changed her life. The instructors there are very experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Triad Yoga has both great facilities and great props. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

Absolutely great studio! I have attended several of the instructor's classes and have had a good experience each time. I will definitely continue to practice here. They accommodate all experience levels, with a free Community class every month. If you have been thinking about yoga classes, you should certainly try going here, at least once.

I love this place! I go as often as my schedule allows. The instructors are awesome, and take care to really instruct, not just lead. There is a good range of classes available to all skill levels. Just don't let the outside of the place put you off.

As I pulled into an ancient, decaying shopping center with shuttered storefronts, I thought I might have made a mistake in prepaying online for a class here with my mother. Luckily, when we entered, all doubts washed away. In fact, I think this is the nicest yoga studio I've ever been to. The exercise room is quite large; even though we had 25+ students in our class, it wasn't crowded, and there was plenty of room to stretch your arms overhead and in a T.

One wall is windows, so there's natural light. The others are covered in a decorative paneling. The lack of mirrors really helped me focus on my breath and my drishtis, but some practitioners may not like the lack of visual feedback. Back in the lobby, there are lots of cubby holes for your personal items. They stock plenty of props -- mats, eye pillows, straps, blocks, blankets, and eggs (oval shaped blocks, which are amazing for restorative poses on the lumbar region).

There are other rooms, which appear to be used for massage therapy and other sessions. The bathrooms were nice and clean, and thoughtfully stocked with tampons and elastic hair ties. Since I attended with my reluctant mother, I chose a gentle yoga class to ease her in. The instructor was really wonderful -- lighthearted and funny, but also helpful with verbal explanations and adjustments.

The class was well-paced, and :very: gentle. good for newbies or an older set, but more experienced practitioners may not get as much out of the shallow stretching. Luckily, they offer a variety of classes, workshops, and even immersion series -- so there's something for everyone!

I have been a student at Triad Yoga since 2006, when they were located on Spring Garden Street. I love TYI and their new location. Triad offers a variety of yoga styles and class times. You can buy one class at a time or a multi-class package, which gives you a small discount. Once a month, they offer a free community class as a way of giving thanks and letting those who are curious about yoga try it out.

In addition to their schedule of weekly classes, they put on many special workshops throughout the year. There are many levels of classes offered and all the teachers I have had at Triad are open and friendly to new students, especially those who have never practiced yoga before. If you are at all curious about yoga, I highly recommend you try one of the community classes. Yoga day is always a high point of my week!
