The treatment methods I use focus on the whole person, not just the obvious problem. As humans, we all have a mind, a body, and a spirit. When I use the word spirit, it refers to the non-physical things like feelings and emotions. Each of these parts serves a unique and special function. If there’s a physical problem (body), it affects the mind and the spirit. If there’s a spiritual problem, it effects the mind and the body. We are each one “unit” as a person.

Modern medicine focuses primarily on the physical body, and it does an amazingly good job. But there’s a lot more to a person than just their body. That’s where my services come in. I address the non-physical issues of the mind and spirit. In so doing, the body benefits indirectly as well. Our thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives have a direct effect on our physiology, right down to the cellular level.

My goal is to help people examine their deepest thoughts, beliefs and perspectives to determine which of these are causing problems. Once clarified, we make appropriate changes that will bring about a harmonious unity between all parts of the person. That my friends, is truly good health.

Professional Hypnotist & NLP Practitioner

In 1980 I earned my B.A. Degree from Clarion University where I majored in Philosophy with a minor in Psychology. It was at Clarion that I received my basic training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I ultimately went on to earn my Certification as both an NLP Practitioner and NLP Life Coach. I am also a Certified Medical Hypnotherapy Specialist and an Autoimmune Hypnosis Practitioner.

I began working with clients in 1992, shortly after earning my Certification in Hypnosis from the Virnor Institute of Hypnosis in Pittsburgh. I am also a lifetime member of the Hypnotism Society of Pa.

I really enjoy doing this kind of work; it's so gratifying to help people make changes for the better. I"ve seen people get freed from fears, anxieties, the effects of a traumatic experience, mysterious chronic illnesses and much more. I never cease to be amazed at the effectiveness of Hypnosis and NLP, or the power of the subconscious mind to heal and transform lives.

Products & Services

Anxiety Hypnosis

Anxiety is “A state of apprehension, uncertainty, and fear resulting from the anticipation of a realistic or fantasized threatening event or situation, often impairing physical and psychological functioning”. Anxiety is a very unpleasant experience that can disrupt a person’s everyday life, but it can be helped with Hypnosis and NLP.

Chronic Pain Management

Chronic Pain is pain that exists after all physical healing has taken place. Chronic pain is different from acute pain in that it is not easy to find the cause. Diagnosis can reveal no injury in the body at all, and yet the patient can be experiencing very debilitating pain. It is often unresponsive to physical therapy and pain medications – and can lead to depression and many other problems – but it can be helped with Hypnosis and NLP.

Trauma & PTSD

A Trauma is any physical or emotional experience that overwhelms our ability to process it in a healthy fashion. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a more complex result of trauma from exposure to a terrifying, life-threatening event – followed by multiple symptoms that persist and don’t resolve over time. PTSD is a stress-based condition… which makes it very treatable. Trauma is painful, unpredictable and can be totally debilitating… but it can be helped with Hypnosis and NLP.

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness in which your full attentionis laser focused on one specific issue. Such focus is very difficult (if not impossible) to achieve in the normal "conscious" state. This altered state provides access to the sub-conscious mind where we can make changes that make a difference. In addition, when changes are made at the sub-conscious level, they are permanent. This is why hypnosis is so effective on so many different issues. It allows you to see your problems from a different perspective, and to receive helpful insights and information from your subconscious mind.

Depression is a state of sadness or apathy that lasts at least two weeks or more and is severe enough to affect your daily activities. The primary symptoms are a sad mood and a loss of interest in life. Formerly pleasurable activities are no longer appealing. Other symptoms can include a sense of guilt, anger, feelings of worthlessness, a lack of hope and even thoughts of death or suicide. People with depression are more likely to attempt suicide. Some of the warning signs include frequently talking about death or suicide, threatening to do physical harm to other people, or engaging in risky and/or aggressive behaviors.

This post presents the truth regarding some of the most common myths, misunderstandings, and beliefs about hypnosis. Hypnosis is one of the most misunderstood subjects in the world; that's why a lot of people are afraid of it. My goal is to explain it in such a way as to help readers understand what it really is, and just as importantly. Probably the most common misconception about hypnosis is that it will MAKE you do (or not do) something. FALSE. You always have Free Will - even in the hypnotic state.
