From Our Website

At Whitford Chiropractic, our office is a place of natural healing and wellness. You may be in pain when you show up, but we will do everything possible to get you out of pain quickly. Whether you are suffering from neck pain, back pain, headaches, or general muscular tightness and discomfort, we can help. From chronic pain to spinal conditions to suffering from pain due to an accident or injury, our Mt. Pleasant chiropractors can help you achieve your health and wellness goals. We also provide chiropractic services in Midland, visit Preferred Chiropractic of Midland to learn more.

Dr. Nathan Vanderloo, our clinic director and Mt. Pleasant chiropractor, was born and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He attended the College of Chiropractic at Cleveland University in Kansas City where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and his Doctorate in Chiropractic. While studying at Cleveland University, he was a Biochemistry Instructor and Teaching Assistant in Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis. Prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Vanderloo was a Licensed Massage Therapist for four years.

Massage therapy does more than relieve stress, it can help the body achieve balance and health. Massage therapy offers a natural treatment approach which relieves musculoskeletal pain for many of our patients. Whitford Chiropractic provides specific muscular and massage therapy that is complementary to chiropractic care. The chiropractor and massage therapist will create a treatment plan that is tailored to meet the patient's unique injury or pain condition. The benefits of massage therapy can include an increase of blood circulation, relaxation of the muscles, and a localized reduction in swelling.

Many people first visit the chiropractor in search of pain relief, whether it's back, neck, shoulder, or general body pain. In this first phase of care, the main goal is to manage your symptoms. Sometimes this will require daily visits, other times 2-3 visits per week is required. Most people don't realize that being without pain isn't an indicator of true health. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor health indicator. In fact, pain and other related symptoms often appear only after a condition or disease has become advanced.
