Yerkey Chiropractic has continued to expand and expand, mainly due to one factor. If there is one thing that I have fortunately or unfortunately learned over the past few years is that there are so many crazy things that occur in the health care industry.

From Our Website
I wanted to take a few moments to welcome you to our practice and let you know a few very important things to help you get the most out of your care. First thing is - Our practice is referral driven, so we run a very "open" office. By this, I mean we value your opinion and want to hear what you think, no matter what it is. If you like something - tell us so we can do more of it, and if you don't like something - tell us that too. The only way we can make your experience with us the best it can possibly be is if we know what you want.
You will be placed in an examination room, the Doctor will take a detailed history and perform a physical examination. You will either be asked to allow us to order additional medical tests, or you will be notified what condition/s you have, and will be given a few choices on how to best address your condition. It may need to be co-managed with your family doctor. You will be started when you arrive and this will not be as time consuming as the first visit, you will be taken swiftly through your treatment, and if indicated your insurance coverage will be presented to you, this is so you know up front what to expect.
Most health plans reimburse for a portion of chiropractic treatment. Due to variations in insurance policies (even under the same carrier), we recommend that you allow us to contact your insurance company. Our staff will confirm your benefits, but this does not guarantee payment by the insurance company. You are encouraged to check benefits with your insurance company as well. We are preferred providers (In-network) for most health insurance companies and accept worker's compensation and personal injury (motor vehicle accident) insurance.
Chiropractic - [ki"ro-prak'tik] means "done by hand". Although it is the youngest of the natural healing arts, Chiropractic has appreciated tremendous growth during the past decade. Chiropractors blend the drugless, non-surgical art of hands-on therapy with the science and technology of modern medicine and physical rehabilitation. It is a branch of health care that concentrates on naturally balancing and optimizing the function of the body in order to promote and maintain health. At the foundation of chiropractic philosophy is that the body has the ability to heal itself, provided the organ systems function optimally.
