Yogarosa is by far one of the best, if not best yoga studio in the Miami area. Rosa the owner and other instructors are amazing and give so much attention to detail and form when in class. They teach for knowledge and to also make sure you're correct to avoid injury. The studio is quaint and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly highly recommend this studio to anyone wanting to learn to practice yoga or even those more advanced! You will not be disappointed here!

I have taken many classes before taking a class at YogaRosa and I felt like I was actually learning how to do Yoga for the first time. She pays attention to everyone in the class and takes the time to correct them and really teach every movement. Its great!

Yogarosa is genuinely a life changing membership and studio. I don't ever leave reviews but the way she's been able to help guide my everyday life, in addition to the work i've put in at the studio, has been absolutely invaluable. If you want to better your mental AND physical health, I highly highly recommend this place.

You'll find adult students of all ages, fitness levels and yoga experience in a Yogarosa class, and it's wonderful! I have taken classes from nearly every teacher at Yogarosa, and every one of them is marvelous. I have learned from each of them. Teachers and students are always welcoming and helpful to newcomers and newbies. There are plenty of smiles and laughs, and the teachers are not only well-trained but also always learning.

In Iyengar yoga, teacher expertise is crucial, so this means a lot. Each teacher has her or his own style, and they have a wide range of ages and years practicing yoga, so if you don't mesh with the teacher at the first class you try, be sure to try others. I love having different experiences if I go to a different class. We transitioned to Zoom classes during COVID-19, and I have been incredibly impressed. Somehow, the teachers remain able to interact with us, watch us, help us and let us know how we're doing in various poses.

They've been great about helping us improvise if we don't have a specific prop. If you've never done yoga or have never done Iyengar yoga, Yogarosa is a great place to dip your feet into a practice. And if you're a long-time practitioner, intermediate, or beginner with a few years of experience, you'll find classes that challenge you just enough to continue developing.

Yoga Rosa is a naturally intuitive yoga instructor and therapist whom I have been working with for 8 years. Through frequent sessions I have learned yoga exercises and poses that have enabled me to be stronger and pain free with adult scoliosis. Her guidance has been a lifeline for me. Continued check in sessions once in awhile allow me to modify and add to my repertoire. Highly recommended studio!

My first visit to Yogarosa was in April 2007. I had been practicing hot yoga. Iyengar Yoga has the same level of difficulty, but the approach and practice are more aligned with therapeutic results - smart yoga. The teachers are dedicated, well trained and focused on improving your practice. Yogarosa is the best studio in town to "get your yoga on!" That is why I keep going back.

My experience has been wonderful. Rosa is passionate about teaching her students and very caring of each student. My lower back pain is gone. The studio is welcoming and the entire atmosphere is calming. I'm beyond happy having been able to start my yoga journey at Yogarosa.

Rosa and the other instructors are top notch. After a back and shoulder injury from a car accident, I was able to attend classes to further my healing. Now that I'm better, I will continue classes for the health benefits. They pay great attention to detail in their instruction and the experience is truly therapeutic! I highly recommend YogaRosa!

This is by far the BEST Iyengar yoga studio in all of South Florida! The teachers are certified and understand the students limitations and specific needs. I have been participating in classes here for over 15 years. I highly recommend this studio if you are interested in the real practice of yoga!

Not only is the atmosphere warm and inviting, but the Iyengar Yoga eliminated my lower back pain. Never a dull moment while practicing this healthy and interesting style of yoga. Rosa is a wonderfully caring instructor. It's a joy practicing yoga at Yogarosa. And I am a demanding student.

Rosa and her team of teachers are just great. They are very knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient with new students. I always wanted to practice yoga but never had found the right place. Since the first class I said to myself, this is it! And the most important, they teach you well! Thank you so much Yogarosa.

My experience in Yoga Rosa has been very good. In four months of practice I have felt many body changes and I have also felt more relaxed, I sleep better. The three teachers with whom I have had class are excellent professionals, Izabel, Brian and Rosa. They are considered and clear in their explanations, always pending that the poses are made properly, they are supportive with your process.

On a holiday visit to Miami, I was searching for an Iyengar studio (my preferred style) and found this sweet spot on yelp. The space was clean and spacious and I always know I am in good hands when I go to Iyengar certified teachers. This will be my practice studio whenever I visit my daughter.

I love Iyengar Yoga at Yogarosa studio -it's the perfect spot for anytime stretching and centering. The instructors are very helpful and encouraging, helping you understand what the poses are supposed to feel like and making sure that you're doing the poses so you can get the most out of them. They also walk through during the class and make physical adjustments to improve your posture on the poses.

The style of the studio is also something I really enjoy and helps keep me focused during class. I definitely recommend trying them out--there's a variety of pricing options, including single drop-in classes or discounts for buying multiple classes at once. The prices are definitely reasonable for the quality of experience you'll get. There are beginner classes and classes for all levels, with all the teachers being really good about offering modifications if a student is injured, less experienced or needs more of a challenge in certain poses. Rosa and her staff care about each of their students and help you realize and live your authentic self every single day. I believe this is the best little studio in our area. Thank you to Rosa and her staff. Namaste

I come there 2 to 3 times a week. I take 1 hour or one and half hour class. Mornings are better for me. Teachers are always adjusting us in poses. It's a iyenger yoga meaning we use props. Blocks, blankets, ropes and a wall with even more adjustable ropes. The clases are some busy (12) some not so much (6). They schedule everything and they have different class packages.

Sometimes overwhelming with the 1 hour and 1 and half hour. If you are gonna go twice a week you better get the monthly package. I think it's $140 you can use it in both clases. The only thing that I don't like it's that they alow late students to enter when class already started. I know that is more money, but for the ones who come early it's uncomfortable. Place is clean, doesn't smell like patchouli or stinky feet. They have AC. And teachers make it also a fun place to go.

Yogarosa is superb, I have been going to the studio since it first opened almost 15 years ago! All the teachers are very intelligent with an abundance of knowledge about Iyengar yoga. After years of playing sports I injured myself a few times and I came here to get "fixed". No matter how old, what gender, or how stiff you are Iyengar yoga is for you!

There are different levels of classes and once a month there are restorative classes (my favorite)! Too bad I am all the way in Chicago because if not I would come here all the time. I guess I found an excuse to visit South Florida;)

Rosa is an excellent yoga teacher! Not only does she know what she is doing, but she is very sweet, and makes learning fun! Although I only started at YogaRosa two weeks ago, I can already see my practice evolving from what it used to be. She goes around and makes sure everyone is positioned the right way, and offers alternative poses if a certain pose is hard or undoable for you if you have an injury, etc.

I love that Rosa and the other instructions are very personal and always willing to help. Before I came to this studio I was too scared to do a headstand. But you should see me now, I barely need help getting up! Prices are also great. Since I am a student, classes are $10! You reallt can't beat that deal anywhere. She also has a new student offer, 5 classes for $50 (what I ended up getting!) I'm really happy I found a studio that feels like home. Can't wait to keep practicing my favorite hobby!

Mrs. Rosa knows what she's talking about. She is the kind of instructor who talks you through each minute detail of your pose. I mean if your shoulder blade has not twisted or lifted as it should, she talks you through the proper steps to achieve the best stretch. I just simply these classes. The Cons: I would prefer the online schedule and events to be more up to date ( we're in Aug and the June schedule is still up)

I've been attending YogaRosa ("the yoga comes before Rosa") since 2004. I no longer live in South Fl but I still attend whenever I have business here. Rosa is a very REAL yoga teacher. Real yoga and real teacher. When I'm here I get the distinct feeling that I'm experiencing yoga teaching as it was meant to be -- reduce extraneous clamor and keep it as simple as possible -- in a manner in which Mr. Iyengar-Ji would approve. (I feel like I know him. ) Rosa lives the real Ashtanga, and not just on the mat or in the studio. Fortunately, she is such a good teacher that she can personalize the experiecne for the individual even in a large class.

It is my privilege to have attended and to count her as a true friend. ///// Let me add this: 1) You know that three syllable word that has something to do with divine light? 2) She's going to say something like "very kind", etc., but actually I tell people about yoga and the finest, nicest, most appropriate teachers in order to let anyone and everyone know. The more yoga in a community, the better, for example, the drivers. And if I can do it, well, you know what they say: ANYONE can.
