Myung Chill Kim was born in Korea in 1942. He is the 7th child in a family of eleven brothers and sisters, and has lived with Oriental martial arts and medicine for his entire life. He is the 37th generation Doctor of Oriental Medicine in his family. He moved to the US in 1970. His 1st book, Acupuncture for Self-Defense, was published in 1971.
