Not helpful. Hi Wendy. Your tone was pleasant when you took my call, and you did give a base response to my requests for information. I am sad and surprised that instead of ending our call with any of the following, "thanks for calling, " "we hope to hear from you, " or even "have a nice day!" -- you actually just hung up on me. Surprising and unkind when this organization is meant to support people's mental health. Ultimately, it seemed you needed to get off the phone, I'm sure to do your desk work. I didn't get what I needed and overall feel bad about the experience. Please be kind and professional. Your industry is really a prime example of where that is needed.

I've heard wonderful things about Cindy and Peggy, unfortunately, I had an appointment with Randi Hollis. She is extremely rude, apathetic, and dismissive. I went to her for medical trauma, and she just gave me more. Avoid her if you're a sensitive person.

I went to TLC on and off, I desperately wanted them to work, but I did not feel as if I was valued while under their care. Peggy was the one who gave me a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder (which is not what I have) and put me on medication after medication that did not work. The person I see now said that she (Peggy) should have realized that I do not have Bipolar Disorder due to how I react to ADHD medication and how I reacted to the medications she was putting me on. Jennifer was no help either.
Most of the time she was late to my appointments, and half of the time she would talk about her life and her daughter. I felt as if my time and mental health was not taken seriously. My problems were often swept to the side and I was told that my auditory hallucinations were normal and that everyone has them (I was diagnosed with schizophrenia by the people I see now)

I have been seeing Peggy Jerome at this office for about a year now, and I couldn't be more satisfied with her as a provider. Visits since COVID hit have been via video chat or over the phone, and she has always been open to addressing any questions or concerns I may have. I am able to text her with any immediate concerns such as refill requests, and she has always been prompt and understanding in that regard. I would recommend The Lotus Center to anyone needing med management and other mental health services.

Dr. Cynthia Wasek was my husband psychiatrist for a few months (online). He never got an appointment in person. This Dr. prescribed Adderall, who was worse for his bipolar episodes. no therapy or something else to help my husband improve his mental health. I tried to talk with her by phone or email but her assistant never allowed me to communicate with the Dr. I had to find another psychiatrist. Doctors like her do not care about their patients.

Cindy is amazing and has helped me so much. She is not the type of doctor to just prescribe anything and kick you out the door. She tries to find the best match and monitors you closely. She is the sweetest! I can't wait till I can go into the office again!
