After months of experiencing really bad knee pain I decided to try acupuncture for the first time. My knee pain was so bad that I had already accepted the fact that I would have knee pain for the rest of my life. I lost all my motivation in the gym due to having to cut out most of my leg day workouts. After just the first session of acupuncture I felt a huge difference in my knees and went from barley being able to squat to being able to do a deep squat. Ryan was able to target my pain while also helping to rebuild strength and after the second session I felt at almost 100%. I am now able to do my full workout routine pain free! I am super impressed with his work and my results. I will definitely continue to get acupuncture done.

I went to Evergreen Accupuncture with chronic neck pain. I had tried acupuncture before but never Sports Acupuncture. Ryan is absolutely amazing. Because of an industrial accident, I had lost about 50% of neck range mobility and the constant pain was agonizing at times. After ten sessions of local treatment, my neck has improved to a point that I have recovered almost 100%. I could not be happier. I highly recommend Ryan and his practice. I was referred to Evergreen Acupuncture with an 8 year-long shoulder & neck pain issue by my primary care doctor which was in conjunction with physical therapy and appointments with specialists. Unfortunately, after 8 weeks of treatment acupuncture was not able to resolve the issues. However; Ryan is flat out amazing - 10 stars. He was able to do so much MORE for my health than I have been able to. Ryan saw my injuries, pain and instability where I could not.
He encouraged me and gave me the terminology to relay to my Physical Therapist and Primary Care to adjust the treatment plans to address the issues THEY were missing. Ryan may not have been able to help through his acupuncture services, but he helped drive my treatment plan to get me where it needs to go. Long review short; Ryan is extremely knowledgeable in musculoskeletal issues, he takes the time to examine and see the issues, he is patient and has a truly healing heart (he wants to see his patients get better). I would recommend him without hesitation.

I have spent the last 10 years with hip pain. I had to leave a great job 5 years ago because the commute was so long that by the time I got there I could barely walk from my car to my office. At that point I was using a cane. Knowing I would be taking a 10 day roadtrip in April 2022 I sought out acupuncture to try to relieve some of the pain so I could tolerate the driving. Boy was I pleasantly surprised at how effective my treatment was!
After 5 sessions I was completely pain free, regained strength, and had a much wider range of motion. I went on my roadtrip and was able to drive painfree and hiked in Idaho, Utah, and the Grand Canyon! After 10 days I returned home and continue to live pain-free. Some of the stiffness has returned, but light stretching helps with that. If I had known I could have reversed my physical condition so quickly I would have visited Ryan at Evergreen much sooner!

Ryan's acupuncture skills helped reduce pain, and increase mobility and strength in both my impinged shoulders. Eventually, an MRI revealed torn and inflamed tendons and I had surgery on the left shoulder. I attribute more rapid healing and speedy recovery to the pre- and post-op acupuncture. I'm a very active person and I really appreciate Ryan's knowledge of sports and fitness. He's a really nice guy too!

I waited entirely too long to come see Ryan at Evergreen Acupuncture. But when you're in so much pain, and exhausted from fighting what is our present day medical system - you're not always thinking clearly. After weeks of PT and multiple medications for severe pain radiating from my back/neck down my left arm (for what we all guessed was a pinched nerve) I finally made an appointment. It was amazing to have someone actually listen to where my pain was, and understand where other trigger points were.
My pain was diminished, not overnight, but I could finally feel improvement. It greatly reduced the neuropathy in my hands/fingers and over time greatly reduced my pain - so much so I eventually weaned myself off the gabapentin. He pinpoints effected muscles (seemingly magically) and stimulates them so they work more effectively. I couldn't recommend him more. He is well worth the occasional wait times :)

I was having these horrible body aches, leg pains, and I couldn't sleep, not to mention barely even think. I was desperate for relief and my doctors were out of options. I started seeing Ryan for Fibromyalgia about 6 months ago. After the first month of treatment I noticed my aches and pains were less and I was sleeping better than I ever have. I am so grateful I found Evergreen Acupuncture. Ryan is very knowledgable and caring. His staff is always helpful and nice. Highly recommend Evergreen.
