Services
Acupuncture
Our acupuncture treatments use sterile disposable needles to stimulate specific points on the body, promoting natural healing and pain relief. This FDA-approved therapy effectively addresses chronic pain, migraines, and stress-related conditions. Patients often experience immediate relief with minimal discomfort during sessions lasting 30-40 minutes.
Herbal Medicine
Custom herbal formulations complement our acupuncture treatments, addressing internal imbalances and supporting overall wellness. Our practitioners prescribe time-tested herbal combinations for digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, and immune system support. All herbs meet strict quality control standards for safety and efficacy.
Cupping Therapy
This ancient technique uses controlled suction to improve circulation and relieve muscle tension. Cupping effectively treats chronic pain, reduces inflammation, and enhances athletic recovery. Temporary bruising may occur but typically resolves within a few days while delivering lasting therapeutic benefits.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion applies heat to acupuncture points using mugwort herb, enhancing circulation and reducing joint pain. This therapy particularly benefits arthritis sufferers and those with cold-related conditions. Our practitioners carefully control temperature to ensure patient comfort during treatment sessions.
Tuina Massage
Our Tuina massage combines acupressure and therapeutic manipulation to address musculoskeletal issues. This deep-tissue technique improves range of motion, relieves nerve compression, and promotes relaxation. Sessions focus on specific problem areas while maintaining overall body balance.

Questions
What conditions can acupuncture treat?
Acupuncture effectively addresses pain disorders, stress-related conditions, digestive issues, and gynecological concerns. The WHO recognizes over 40 conditions treatable with acupuncture, including migraines, arthritis, and infertility.
Is acupuncture painful?
Most patients experience minimal discomfort. The ultra-thin needles cause less pain than plucking a hair, with sensations ranging from tingling to warmth. Many find treatments deeply relaxing with immediate symptom relief.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most major medical insurance plans including workers' compensation. Senate Bill 2179 mandates acupuncture coverage by most health plans. Contact us to verify your specific insurance benefits.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Initial consultations last 30-40 minutes, including medical history review and comprehensive assessment. The practitioner will evaluate your tongue, pulses, and meridian points to create a personalized treatment plan combining appropriate therapies.
Are herbal medicines safe?
Our herbal formulations use premium quality ingredients following strict safety standards. Practitioners carefully consider potential interactions with conventional medications to ensure safe, complementary treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Treatment frequency depends on condition severity and duration. Chronic conditions typically require weekly sessions for 4-8 weeks, while acute issues may resolve in 1-3 visits. Your practitioner will establish a customized treatment schedule.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Service was okay for acupuncture I have went to several other places and would not recommend coming here. Timer went off and I waited for a while before someone came in. Which was an issue. Scheduling issues, dis function in the whole business is obvious that this place has gone down hill. I went here due to the reviews but warning new coming clients avoid this place. The interaction between the owner was below acceptable.

I'm absolutely in love with the couple that runs this establishment. They really know their stuff and they learned and practiced in China, which is the real deal. I appreciate how they simulate the needles about halfway through my session, which I didn't know about since my previous acupuncturist never did that. It may not be a super posh and updated place, but don't judge a book by its cover! People of left negative reviews about Frank, but he's a good guy. He's just a very direst person, which I appreciate, but not all do.

I've been a patient since 2018 off and on. They are so caring, and go beyond expectations to meet your health needs. I had some issues with my insurance and Frank has stepped in to talk with them more than once after I clearly explain who I got approval from and give him my contacts. Getting the best certified Accupuncture is easy when you put your trust in Kang Fu Center. Hidden Gem tucked in across from Walnut Creek library. I highly recommend them. Just saw today 4/22/21 and feel so much better.

I have had great experiences here. I have been late before management was accommodating telling me to "get there when I could." I've found the family warm and polite, and the massage and acupuncture has helped my pain. I have been to two other practices before. I have never felt rushed here, they take their time and pinpoint trouble spots wherever I have them.

I'm giving Kang Fu Acupuncture 0 star. I canceled my appointment because of Covid 19, the whole California is in lockdown and a guy name Frank called me yelling at me why I canceled my appointment. He didn't even give me a chance to explain and he continued to yell at me. When I told Frank to stop yelling at me, he yelled at me louder. He's very rude, no manners and unprofessional.
He even brag that if I'm going to complain to remember that his name is Frank. I don't recommend this place, the clients don't deserve to be treated like this. Please read the reviews about Frank before you book your appointments.

Absolutely would not recommend they say they've been there since 1988 I would believe that was the last time the place was painted it was dirty the fish tank in the waiting room was cloudy and nasty The treatment Table was so old all of the give was gone from the padding not to mention it is slightly inverted or maybe it was just the pillows they put under your legs makes it so all of your body weight rest directly on your sternum so beyond uncomfortable it's been a couple of hours and my Chest still hurts they seemed much more interested in trying to treat the acne I had on my back then actually treating my back pain I just canceled the follow up appointment I had with them and will be trying to find somewhere else I haven't completely written off acupuncture but if they're all like this I have no idea how anybody would fall for the stuff So apparently this struck a nerve Frank thought it appropriate to call and yell at me until I started demanding information on the licensing board and how to contact them
