Sonar is an upper cervical technique. Precision Upper Cervical adjusting is a little-known chiropractic procedure that corrects the position of the top vertebra of the spine (the atlas), and treats the brainstem and upperspinal cord misalignment. The atlas is a single, two ounce donut-shaped vertebra at the top of the spine.

Dr. Lori D. Sprague graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1999 with honors on the President's List. She has quite a heritage in chiropractic. Daughter of Dr. Thomas R. Elliott, Jr (deceased) who invented Sonar, Dr. Sprague is the first fifth generation chiropractor to ever graduate from Palmer.
