Your Trusted Organic Grocery Store in Clearwater, FL
Nature's Food Patch was founded in 1987 by Mr. Amort after his cancer diagnosis, which inspired him to adopt a macrobiotic lifestyle. His vision to help others improve their health led to the acquisition and revitalization of the Clearwater Community Co-op, establishing The Patch as a community-focused grocery store. For over 35 years, the business has maintained rigorous standards for product quality, prioritizing organic farming, sustainable agriculture, and the elimination of GMOs. The company expanded to Downtown Dunedin in 2018, continuing its mission to provide natural and organic products while fostering holistic health through educational programs and community initiatives. Our team takes pride in curating products free from artificial ingredients, pesticides, and preservatives, ensuring customers receive the highest quality nutrition. We operate with integrity, offering wallet-friendly prices, daily sales, and a commitment to transparency in ingredient sourcing. Our dedication to environmental sustainability is exemplified through the 'Ban the Bag' campaign, which has donated over $58,304 to local charities since 2008. The Patch embraces diversity, serving all customers with respect and inclusivity. Through free cooking classes, wellness seminars, and community events, we strive to educate and empower individuals to make informed health choices. Our legacy continues under the leadership of Mr. Amorts children, who uphold his passion for natural living and community well-being.

Nature's FP is by far the best non-corporate, full-service, grocery-store style health food store in the eastern USA. I saw a negative review that falsely claims NFP's produce prices are high and quality isn't so good, compared to Whole Foods. Fact is, NFP's produce department is WAY BETTER than Whole Foods, Publix, etc. in quality, freshness, selection, and price.

Changing my review from a few years ago from a 4 to a 5. The salad and hot bar is the best in the county. Look at this masterpiece! I eat the salad bar a few times a week and could easily do it everyday. As a bonus for the employees that work here; feel free to take 10% off your first visit to my 21+ rec dispensary, eXoud. Customers here can take advantage too. Just show whoever is working with his review and we'll give you 10% off your first visit. We have legal THC and Kratom/Kava products. 741 Clearwater Largo Road N 33770

I really love Nature's Food Patch with their hot food and salad bar. They have a great selection of vitamins and all things healthy. I just hope their parking lot gets repaved, like Cleveland St (and the spaces are widened) as it's so old, cramped, crumbly and bumpy I don't like to drive my car on it for fear of jiggling it apart (and getting dings in my doors). Not to mention how loud and unpleasant it is when pushing the trolley cart, in the parking lot, as it vibrates and clanks all the glass bottled items. That's why I must deduct 1 Star from their rating. Other than that they are a 10 Star Health Food Store.

This is a hidden gem! So clean and organized. I was able to find items I've been seeking for years. So many vegan, plant based and raw food options. They have dehydrated red bananas (no oil or sugar) and Gardein products you can't find in other stores. Also, their loose spices, herbs and tea variety is the largest I've ever seen. This is worth the trip alone. So many new products to try. They also have butcher and fresh seafood department, smoothie/coffee/tea bar, and a deli (sandwiches, wraps and breakfast made to order). There is a by the pound ($9.99/lb) cold and hot entree bar. I love that they have both inside and patio seating to enjoy your meal.
