Grand Traverse Natural Health Care was established in 2007 as a multi-disciplinary and integrative health clinic. We practice person-focused care, where treatment plans are uniquely tailored to each individual. We regularly collaborate with traditional medical practitioners and feel that our therapies can be seamlessly incorporated in even the most complex health conditions. Office hours are by appointment. Call (231) 929-8183 to book acupuncture appointments at the Cowell Family Cancer Center. It is becoming more common for insurance companies to cover acupuncture and massage therapy. All of our services qualify for FLEX or HSA spending accounts. Please call your insurance company to see if your policy covers acupuncture services rendered by a registered acupuncturist.

Massage therapist Shelby Reynolds specializes in integrative massage therapy, blending deep tissue massage with energy work to help people achieve a complete state of relaxation as well as improved physical functioning. She graduated from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts (www.nmhealingarts.org) in Santa Fe, NM, where she completed the 1000 hour Holistic Massage Therapy program.

Unsei is a licensed massage therapist, yoga instructor and AIP Coach. She is also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in training, and has been exploring health care practices since 2008, when she graduated from the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing, in Santa Fe, NM. Her work is deeply informed by craniosacral therapy, structural integration, the energetics of touch, TCM, Buddhism, and her personal experience managing an autoimmune condition. Her work ranges from very light energetic work, to deep myofascial barefoot massage.
