Yoga in the Park will once again (our 16th consecutive year!) be offered at the Canton Village Park on Fridays at 11am throughout July and August, alongside Farmer's Market. Yoga in the Park, along with child care, will be offered FREE of charge to all in the community. Last year over 100 people rolled out their yoga mats or beach towels to enjoy practicing yoga together, outdoors in the shade of beautiful park trees. All levels of prior yoga experience welcome! Unfortunately, due to park regulations, we are not allowed to solicit donations at YIP.

In 1999 a few dedicated people in the quiet town of Canton, New York, aspired to create a community with whom to share yoga and other health and wellness practices. So began the North Country Center for Yoga and Health, "The Yoga Loft". Today we are a fully incorporated non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Section 1.1 Name: The Name of the Corporation is North Country Center for Yoga and Health, Inc. Section 1.2 Registered Office: The principle office of the Corporation shall be located in St. Lawrence County, State of New York. Section 1.3 Fiscal Year: The fiscal year of the Corporation shall begin on the first day of April of each calendar year and run until the last day of March of the following calendar year.
