Yoga Place Our yoga classes provide movement for health and relaxation, but are also designed to promote greater self-awareness and inner peace. At The Yoga Place and Yoga Central we have a full spectrum of yoga programs to help improve strength, flexibility and posture but, even more importantly, yoga is a holistic and spiritual practice where we work on integration of mind, body and spirit. We provide a safe haven where you are warmly welcome and where you can work on personal development or just relax and experience the joy of yoga.

This class focuses on alignment and safety in basic yoga postures. We will move intentionally and sync breath with movement to develop interoception, or the perception of sensations from inside the body. This skill of "listening to your body" provides a strong foundation for yoga practice and holistic health.

The best way to start yoga is with an experienced professional. At The Yoga Place & Yoga Central we have been introducing people to yoga for over 19 years and know the importance of progressing slowly, methodically, gently and with a lot of helpful professional guidance. We aim for an intelligent practice that is sustainable over the long term, for example, what yoga you do today should help you feel better tomorrow, otherwise something needs adjusting!Make your concerns known to us. We want to help you feel comfortable and welcome.

It is a 12-month course with a staff of 7 people. This training is a way not only to deepen our knowledge of yoga and develop as teachers, but to explore our own inner worlds and to work on ourselves. Rhonda Kuster (E-RYT500) has a deep passion for, and dedication to, the art of yoga. She began her yoga journey in 1997 and continues to study with many of the finest yoga teachers in the country.
