
President Nixon's visit to China in 1972 gave a strong inspiration for acupuncture to start growing in the U.S. In 1979 The World Health Organization (WHO) recognized the use of acupuncture in the treatment of over 40 different medical problems (Read Abstract).

Taya is certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine (CCAOM) in Clean Needle Techinque.
