I went to Acupuncture & Herbal solutions for insomnia. I have severe sleep apnea (can't use a CPAP machine) and have suffered with insomnia for close to 15 years. My sleep study shows I NDVER go into REM sleep. Out of desperation I decided to try acupuncture and have never been more thankful for anything. The first time I saw Amanda I dreamt that night for the first time in 15 years. I've been seeing Amanda every three weeks & it drastically changed my life.

My sleep issues are now usually one night a week vs 365 days without good sleep. My energy level has increased & I feel much better. I highly recommend Amanda & Acupuncture & Herbal Solutions. On a five star scale I give both 10 stars!

I sought Amanda out for acupuncture treatments after having heard about her from a friend. She showed compassion and patience throughout the sessions and took the time to listen my concerns and answer my questions in depth about qi deficiency. She recommended a few dietary changes and a course of acupuncture sessions. At the end of my first time, I felt calm and relaxed. The next day I felt a marked improvement in energy level. By the end of the 5th session, I felt my overall quality of life had improved. I would absolutely recommend Amanda for acupuncture.

I was introduced to acupuncturist by Dr. Amanda Leuthardt and was skeptical that the treatment would be able to help me. I have severe sciolosis and had thought I would have to live with pain in my back for the rest of my life. I have been to a Family Doctor, an Orthopedic Surgeon and a Neurologist. I have gone to physical therapy and had treatments by a Chiropractor and there was no relief. I went to see Dr. Leuthardt and after the first treatment, I was and continue to be pain free!. I highly recommend her!

Amanda is one of the BEST in her field! She has such a friendly and loving bedside manner, always makes you feel heard, is proficient in her knowledge of TCM/herbs, and is always willing to explain how our emotions and daily stresses can show up within our body. A must try! I was tired of feeling tired, anxious and not present in my day to day life. A friend told me to come here, as a last resort I did and I am so glad I did and wish I came years ago! I felt better after the first treatment. More energy no brain fog and more like my old self! The staff is amazing and couldn't imagine a better environment.

Acupuncture and Herbal is a gift to this community. When a half-dozen doctors failed to diagnose my wife's debilitating condition, we nearly despaired of ever treating it. The best they could do was lifelong prescriptions of Percocet to numb the pain (and gradually destroy the liver in the process). But Susan was able to instantly understand, diagnose, and treat the root issue, with dramatic improvements after only a month or two of treatment.

While Traditional Chinese Medicine is new for us (my background is in western Exercise Physiology), we've been won over by Susan's accurate predictions and effective treatment. Susan is very gentle and conservative in her treatments, easing us into various lifestyle changes and balancing short-term wins with long term goals. We can't recommend her enough.

Susan and the Staff are nothing short of AMAZING! You will immediately feel a sense of Calm when you're in this place. Susan has helped me with Menopause issues that Western Medicine Doctors said I would NEVER be able to get rid of without medication. The medication made me feel sick.so I tried Acupuncture and I'm so thrilled to say I feel better than ever and with no side effects! I was referred to Susan by a friend who had trouble getting pregnant.

After seeing Susan, she got pregnant. This lady knows what she's doing and was also an RN. She had knowledge in all areas. My girlfriend in California keeps telling me how she wishes she could find someone like Susan. I'm so happy I did! 3/11/18 I wanted to add that Susan's treatments got rid of my Hot Flashes! I'm beyond happy. My Hormones are more balanced than ever before. No medications. Just a few treatments a month for maintenance.

I have been a patient for more than ten years and am a true believer in the power of Acupuncture! Susan is a gifted healer and her wonderful staff is warm, caring and treats you like family. Susan has helped me with a plethora of conditions over the past decade (lifelong asthmatic and allergy sufferer, back pain and knee pain caused by injury) and I can attest that receiving regular treatment has helped to heal my body in so many ways.

The office is located in the heart of Ghent where parking is always accessible, the ambiance is serene and I always leave feeling more relaxed and at peace. I have friends who are non believers yet always wonder why I'm never sick and have such a cheerful sun-shiny personality (for the record, this girl NEVER had perfect attendance in grades K-12 nor tried any "happy pills" of any type-it's all about the qi/chi, baby!). For what it's worth, give it a try! Heck of a lot more accessible than most specialists and cheaper than some of those Big Pharma meds!

My family and I have been going to Susan for 2 years now and she has helped us tremendously with our issues. I used to get really bad allergies and since going to her my allergies have completely gone away. It didn't even take too many sessions either. I can always relax while I'm there too.; She is AMAZING at what she does and she knows exactly what she is doing. I TRUST HER completely. Her staff is great and will make sure to get you an appointment since Susan is ALWAYS really busy and booked for weeks at a time.

Susan helped me recently with reducing the pain and swelling after having oral surgery. During the acupuncture treatment, I was amazed to feel some pain relief almost immediately after she placed the needles. I had also been experiencing extreme swelling that I could not get to subside with medication/ice/heat, but the treatment seemed to help it start to finally go down and to boost the healing process in the days following.

I have had several treatments at Acupuncture & Herbal Solutions in the past for other issues and it has always been an extremely relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Susan really listens and is able to come up with a treatment to address the causes of my symptoms. I highly recommend Acupuncture & Herbal Solutions--the clinic is warm and inviting, the staff is delightful, and Susan is great!
