I have suffered most of my adult life with headaches that were treatable with OTC medications however, over the last year, I began suffering with debilitating migraines, chronic daily headaches and an array of related symptoms (brain fog, dizziness, etc). After months of trial and error on several treatment plans with various doctors, I scheduled an appointment with Margaret. I was skeptical at first as I saw minimal to no long term improvement from prescribed preventive medications, but was willing to give anything a shot to help me combat the chronic pain.
At my first appointment, Margaret and her team were so welcoming. Margaret listened to all of my issues/concerns and developed a treatment plan specific to my needs. Over the next few weeks, I saw improvement in both the quantity and severity of my headaches. By the end of my treatment plan, I was completely headache and symptom free! I am currently on an acupuncture maintenance schedule and continue to remain headache free (and no longer on preventive medications). I am so happy to have my life back and so incredibly thankful for Margaret and her team! I HIGHLY recommend!

I have suffered with daily headaches and migraines since adolescence, . I am on numerous preventive medications along with Botox shots, advil and my rescue meds. Anything and everything can trigger them, especially tempature changes. So at the advice of my primary doctor to try acupuncture, I started with Margaret at Inner Light Wellness about a month ago. And to be honest, my expectations weren't high because of the years and all the medication that I have tried/ been on. WELL, after 1 week of treatments NO daily headaches.
In the month that I have getting treatments I've had 1 day that I've had to take only Tylenol, and 1 day my rescue med. Now I'm getting up and saying, hey I don't have a headache this morning! This hasn't happened in years. I would recommend acupuncture to anyone. Wish I would have done it years ago. Margaret and Valerie are great make you feel very comfortable.

After 10 years of a severe itch/rash, numerous doctors, shots, medications, and creams I decided to give acupuncture a try. So very glad I did! It's been almost a month since my treatments ended, and I'm still itch/rash free. Margaret explained the treatment plan, time frame and cost up front. In addition to the acupuncture she used the Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment. It worked amazingly well. I also very much appreciated that I never felt pressured into additional treatments. Thank you Margaret!

We just love this place! The rooms and atmosphere in this place is so peaceful and calming. My daughters treatments have been so helpful to her. She asks to come here when its needed. Margaret is so gentle and concerned for my daughter (started here at 12 and is now 13). She is blessed with knowledge, skill and wisdom!

This was my first stop in my exploration of acupuncture services. It was not a good experience. I should have realized something was fishy when they took my credit card prior to the appointment. I assumed this was to make sure I showed up. But no. What should have been a free consultation cost me $50. I had asked when I booked the appointment that, if I did not opt for their "plan, " would I still receive a treatment?
I was told that I would. But this practitioner charges twice as much as others in the area and, had I opted to have a first treatment, I would have had to pay the additional exorbitant fee. I left with a paper outlining my plan. I got nothing for my $50 that I didn't already know. I felt cheated. This practice charged me for the "privilege" of learning about their services. I gained no benefit from it whatsoever.

Changed my life. I couldn't rise out of bed, or from a sitting position without excruciating knee pain. I felt some relief after 1 visit, shortly thereafter I was able to exercise regularly. In 2 months I walked all over Italy without pain. I was seriously contemplating knee replacement after years of pain management.not now! Margaret and Valerie are always a pleasure to see at my visits.

If I could give this place ten stars I would! I sought treatment for lower back pain, perimenopause symptoms, and anxiety. I've had great improvement in all three. Margaret is phenomenal and genuinely caring. It is her mission to help people find relief. Her staff is equally fantastic - helpful and pleasant. The office is very clean and a relaxing atmosphere. Such a positive experience!

This is my second experience with acupuncture and I am really pleased with the service. The facility is squeaky clean and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Margaret is extremely professional with a wonderful presence - she is a great listener and tailors my treatment to my acute needs. I have received a great deal of healing - between relief from the arthritis in my lower back, to improvement in scar tissue and range of motion 8 months after an extreme ankle break that required intensive surgery.
I also receive help for my anxiety and insomnia - everything I am going through is considered and I love that the treatment is holistic and integrative.
Valerie and Jet are also great team members! - always friendly and upbeat and diffuse any sort of tension or anxiety you might have before a treatment.

I have been seeing Margaret since 2013 and her treatments have literally changed my life. I initially went in to seek treatment for difficulty breathing (taking a full breath), stress management, digestive issues, and some other things. With regular treatment, issues that I had been dealing with for years were no longer a problem for me. From day one, I have always felt so comfortable with her -- she is so kind and caring and actually takes a good bit of time at the beginning of each appointment to talk, find out the problems, and discuss anything else that you feel needs to be addressed.
I never feel rushed. Her staff is always very friendly, and the office is extremely clean and quiet. I have no worries about seeing her during COVID - she has taken various measures to make sure the lobby and treatment rooms are completely sanitized at all times. I have recommended her to many friends and family.

After being diagnosed with erythromelalgia, a rare vascular disorder, my PCP explained that there was no cure and not much could be done. Overwhelmed at the thought of dealing with the discomfort of constant swelling and burning pain in my feet whenever my body temperature rose, I reached out to Margaret for help. After just over a month of acupuncture treatment and following her advice on foods to avoid, my flare ups have decreased significantly.
Treatment has also eliminated swelling as a symptom and the redness and burning have localized to my toes, as opposed to my whole foot and ankle. I cannot say enough kind words about the office staff and Margaret, they are professional, caring, knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend Inner Light Wellness and am so thankful for the relief they have provided me.

Margaret is a great acupuncture practitioner. She zeroes in on the problem in a lot fewer sessions than other traditional practitioners. I saw her for stress-related symptoms and felt back to my old self (i.e., the way I felt four years ago) after a few treatments. She's very patient and knowledgeable. If you'd like to explore acupuncture, she's a great person to go to for treatments!

I have suffered from Iritable Bowel Syndrome for years and years. With the first treatment with Margaret, I felt great relief. Instant releif. I usually wake up with mild nausea and can't eat breakfast, if at all, for over an hour or more. After that first treatment, the feeling of nausea is gone. I look forward to feeling even better.
Margaret's treatment for knee pain has brought me more comfort than the Dr. who replaced my knee. Life is good again. Thank you, Margaret.

I feel like myself again for the first time in years! I actually know where my feet are and where they'll end up. My balance had gotten so bad that I had to either hold my husband's hand, a cane, or the wall when walking. I attributed this balance problem to my MS, and felt that I just had to learn to deal with it. It was so bad that, if I turned my head to talk while walking, I'd fall backwards.
This happened so fast that I didn't know I was falling until it was over. I did remember, however, that a few years ago, I didn't have any balance problems. I'd seen another acupuncturist for another problem and had no luck, so I felt like acupuncture wouldn't help me for this problem either. Then I met a man whose wife and two other friends see Margaret. All three of them have been helped -- greatly. So, I made the appointment and have seen such dramatic improvement that I'm hopeful that some other problems can be helped. Thank you Margaret. My belief in acupuncture has been restored.

I had an issue with an old rotator cuff injury. Margaret did such a great job, she basically healed it for me. I also suffer from occasional bouts of arthritis in my right hand, and when I do I go see Margaret, and she makes the pain go away. She is also a lovely human being. I am a firm believer in acupuncture in general, but Margaret does a terrific job specifically. I came to Inner Light Wellness over 6 months ago with serious PMS symptoms including cramps, anxiety, depression, irritability and low back pain. I got relief within one treatment, my entire day and several afterward were wonderful! Through regular treatments, I have greatly diminished my PMS symptoms and some are completely gone altogether! With each treatment I feel relaxed, balanced and ready to handle whatever life throws at me.

Today was a rough day pain was on the high end of the scale hasn't for a few weeks since i started accupunture but some days the bear gets you somedays you get the bear but after visitinginner light wellness acupunture center my pain dropped from a 8 down to a 3 just in the time it took me from downingtown to west chester then i was able to sit for an hour undisturbed and pay attention it really has been life changing. Highly recommend to anyone who suffers from chronic pain like i do residuals leftover from guillian barre syndrome. Thank you Margaret
