Alaina is a former Canyon Ranch Health Resort Acupuncturist, with 20 years clinical experience, Post Graduate studies in Herbal Medicine, Auto-Immune Disorders, Cancer Support, Mind-Body and Harmonic Medicine. Licensed in Arizona and California. She is also currently an Acupuncturist @ Virginia G Piper Cancer Center in Scottsdale, AZ.

Alaina began her career in the Natural food business where she first worked in retail, retail management and as a successful Sales Representative in California for health food distributors and vitamin manufacturers. She studied Humanistic Psychology at Sonoma State College in California where she developed her understanding of the relationship between the mind and health. She chose her career in Chinese Medicine because of its recognition of the role of mind and emotions in physical health and well being, unlike allopathic medicine which tends to separate the mind-body.
