Cant recommend Clarity enough! I called trying to get my 6 week old in for some issues we were having and Megan was able to see us same day within the hour! She was so knowledgeable, kind, understanding and all around great to work with. She was able to get us in for a second visit within the same week as well. She worked wonders for us and my baby is so much happier now!

Clarity Chiropractic in Johnston, Iowa has truly gone above and beyond for me. Ive been a patient there for almost two years. I originally found them when I was dealing with long COVID symptoms and was searching for hyperbaric oxygen therapy options. I made an appointment, felt confident in the care, and decided to start treatments.
Then on November 21, I had a mild stroke. I had read how important it can be to start supportive therapies quickly, so I contacted Clarity on a Tuesday morning to ask if a hyperbaric chamber was available to rent. Dr. Walker Porterfield immediately said yes and when I asked how soon I could get it, he told me, I can bring it this afternoon. He delivered and set it up that same day.
Even though I was somewhat familiar with the chamber, Dr. Porterfield was extremely thorough when he delivered it. He walked me through exactly how to use the zippers, how to make sure it was sealed properly, and how long to use it each day (and how often), because you definitely need to be cautious and follow guidance with something like this. He made it feel simple and easy to use, and I really appreciated the time he took to make sure I was comfortable and doing it safely.
What stands out most about Clarity is how much they truly care about their patients. They are responsive, kind, knowledgeable, and they take the time to listen and help you feel supported. That level of genuine care is rare. Im very grateful for Dr. Porterfield and the entire team, and I highly recommend Clarity Chiropractic.

The best thing about Clarity is that they do not take a cookie cutter approach to their chiropractic care. Each treatment is individualized and based on exactly what the client needs. I have been to a number of different chiropractors in the past and this is the most wholistic and well rounded approach I have experienced yet. They take a very systematic approach that is designed to help make real change and get long-term results and not just quick acting results that you can get from a manipulation. They have been helping me recover from a back injury and have been a vital role in my improvement. They also have been working to help me with an old shoulder injury and ankle stiffness. Highly recommend Dr. Walker and Alison at Clarity!

Great place for your Chiropractic care. Dr Walker has an extensive knowledge of how the human body works and able to diagnosis your particular situation and knows how to use the torque release technique to allow your own body make the corrections. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and let's you know that he really cares. Also Wilson is an added bonus. I think he really likes me but maybe it's because of the treats he gets from me.

I have LOVED going to Clarity Chiropractic for multiple reasons:
1.) When I first went in, my neck was in a lot of pain and I was unable to bend it backwards at all; as well as it was hindering my day to day. In 2-3 weeks, Clarity helped my neck feel so much better and it wasnt hindering activities in my day to day anymore.
2.) They also showed me through an x-ray that I was developing arthritis in my neck, and said without care, that would fully develop and never go away. I am so glad to have been recommended Clarity because Im only 23 and would not like to deal with that for the rest of my life.
3.) They have helped me learn so many things about the spine/body that I did not know before. They have taught me more about why care, for the long term, is so important. Because of these things, healthier lifestyle choices have been a big priority of mine.
4.) Dr. Walker, and the two ladys at the front, are so nice and personable. They will chat with you and ask you how you are doing, truly care about your health, and you as a whole person. Plus their Regional Manager is the sweetest guy youll ever meet.
5.) They also offer hyperbaric chambers for better healing purposes, which I think is so cool of them to offer.
All in all, Clarity really knows what they are talking about and doing and I cannot recommend them enough!

I am so thankful I chose to go to Clarity!!! Since day one Dr Walker and Dr Allison have treated me like family. It is a very comfortable and relaxing environment!! Now I am able to walk without knee pain. And last week when I had a pinched nerve in my back I was able to get a walk in appointment. Got my rib put back into place and was able to take deep breaths again! Thank you so much!

Hard to find a complaint here! I'm pretty new to the chiropractor scene, and was a bit nervous to try it out. I'm now about a month in at Clarity, and am enjoying my time so far! I've got some of the scoliosis, so it may be a longer journey for me before I can confirm any major changes. I appreciate Drs. Walker and Alison in their scientific approach and commitment to quality of care and friendliness with each patient. I do feel relaxed and comfortable after each visit, maybe a little sore in the tender spots, and empowered to encourage my body to do what it was made to do! Heal up, buttercup.

Clarity Chiropractic has helped me a lot with my shoulder pain. I am a crossfit and strongwoman athelete and with Dr. Alison and Dr. Walker taking care of me my shoulder has compleatly been pain free and I am able to perform at my best again after dealing with it for about 2 years. After and adjustment from them my body feels so relaxed and amazing and my head is clear so I feel like my body is overall healthier. I also love how there is no twisting and popping involved in there adjustments and its very specific and I trusted them with my health for day 1.

Dr. Walker and Dr. Allison have helped me with my headaches that I used to have daily and now I've gone weeks without one and can't thank them enough! Dr. Allison and Dr. Walker are simply amazing at what they do! My daughter is being seen for some back and neck pain. She loves going! She loves how kind and considerate they are of kids! And of course she LOVES Theo! I love being able to walk in and know my child is getting the best care she can! If I have any questions they are always willing and eager to explain things to me! Walker took pictures of Jim and found 4 cracked ribs, one broken rib and a punctured lung that had blood & fluid in it! This was after Jim had x-rays done at a hospital and they never found any fractures. Walker sent his x-rays to Radiology there in Des Moines and they diagnosed what they seen in the x-rays and ask Walker to send him to the emergency room and have a Cat scan done. We went right to ER, they done the Cat Scan and his lung was clasped. The ER Dr. put a tube in his side to drain the blood & fluid out. Admitted him to the hospital to keep him comfortable, and to make sure he didn’t get pneumonia. Thank You Walker for the find!!
