I only have positive feedback about the HBR program. I decided to take part in the self-directed program which allowed me to complete the program at my own pace while continuing to work full-time. It is a very easy program to navigate and I was able to make a monthly payment plan which allowed some financial flexibility. My Recovery Coach was very hands on and always communicative. If I needed to reschedule a meeting, I was met with understanding. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in making changes while understanding themselves better and their relationship with substances. Non-judgemental, professional and knowledgeable service. I researched many home-based programs before choosing HBR and I am so glad I did!

I cannot recommend HBR highly enough. They really have given me the tools that I'd been seeking, and these tools are allowing me to finally realize my life as what it can fully be. The team is ALL really quite awesome, and Miranda was so amazing, knowledgeable, supportive and really just helped me in so many ways (and continues to!) Thank you everyone sm!!!!!
I finished the 30 day intensive program 2 weeks ago. It was life changing, really it was. The support I've been given through the program, and the transition out of it, has been life changing. 7 weeks free from the cage of use today! Holy I'm doing it.
I've been an addict my entire adult life (I'm 45). I learned as a teenager, and its been full throttle ever since really. I've lost the most important people I ever knew and loved to overdose and addiction, one after another over the years.
There's an expression I relate to, I think its Polish. "I found myself at the very bottom, and then I heard knocking from below."
That's where I was when I stumbled across HBR during a desperate Google search. I'd been calling VIHA, crisis lines, going in circles looking for help. Nothing fit, no one called me back. Finding HBR was exactly what I had hoped for. It was a lifeline. I was given support and able to get on board right away.
The program is evidence based, supportive, and consistent. The content flows so well. The videos are thoughtful, informative, and forward focused. They follow each other in a constructive way, building on what you've learned and really landing on the right "spots" along the path to realization and recovery. The content hit so perfectly with me, it made sense in my brain and helped me make sense of my disease.
The comprehensive nature of the program, with emphasis on self-care, excersise, routine, reflection, and mindfulness were vital to building the basis of my clean and free life. I had tried most of these things before, without much effect. The way the HBR program bundles everything together and supports along the way really helped me to focus on my succeses and learn how to function without my substance. I've never achieved that before. It feels amazing.
I feel supported and understood. I was able to choose my own path to recovery and renewal, with guidance and informed supprt from Miranda and the whole team every day, every step of the way. I learned new, effective ways to manage my (fairly serious) mental health conditions, which lead to the addiction in the first place.
They understand that the usage is the symptom, not the cause. They really understood me, I felt support in a way that is rare to find in my experience.
Thank you again for helping me realize I could have a life I always wanted and never thought I could reach. Thank you for showing me my own self in a loving and renewing way. Thanks for reflecting my own potential back to me. Onward.

After nearly a decade sober, I found myself relapsing. And those relapses were getting consistently shorter and more frequent. I knew I needed to do something, but I couldn't take time off work. I just needed a swift kick in the ass to get back on track. I'd been taught the tools in rehab years ago. I just needed to remember how to use them.
The HBR virtual IOP program gave me exactly that. The professional staff helped me get back to basics and rebuild my recovery foundation. What impressed me most was how they went above and beyond, they even helped me address the chronic pain issues that were a major driver of my current substance use.
Today I'm back on track, managing both my recovery and my pain in healthier ways. If you're in a similar situation and need structured support that fits around your work schedule, I highly recommend this program.

I have used HBR's aftercare program every Sunday for about 15 months and can say for certain that it is my favorite meeting i attend ... I've been sober for over a year now and will continue to use them as part of my ongoing recovery program... Anybody looking for sobriety needs to start somewhere and HBR is definitely a great place to start your journey to a better life

I don't believe I would have been able to achieve and maintain sobriety without having access to this home based program. Leaving my young family to enter a treatment center was not an option. The intensive recovery support I received going through the first 30 days of HBR made all the difference. The material is thoughtful, engaging, and based on a progressive understanding of addiction. I'm very grateful for the HBR program and the clear path to sobriety it provided me!

I had a really positive experience with HBR. I cant say enough good things about their whole team. They provide everything they promise and so much more. The whole team is great I cant name just one person. If you put your best foot forward and follow the outline I think anyone trying to move their life in a positive direction can benefit greatly from this program. I appreciate all the help and hope to continue some of the relationships Ive made :)

I participated in the HBR online addition program at the end of 2023. I am grateful to say I have been sober for 14 months. This is the longest period of sobriety I have experienced in over a decade of trying many programs, pills and plans!
The support, encouragement, cheerleading and wisdom from Michael and the HBR program has been instrumental in my success to date. This was the first time I did a one on one program which really fit my needs at the time. The other programs I tried in the past were group focused with a small portion one on one. I had success for short periods of time but the intensive one on one was my game changer.
I found the encouraging non judgmental support from Michael allowed me to dig deep and express my feelings. I am 60 so that is a lot of digging!!
I am grateful that I allowed myself to seek help and bravely work hard.
I am grateful HBR was there to stand by me and guide my journey!
Thank you so so much.

It's hard to put into words just how much this program helped me. If you're looking to make a change in your life, but are unsure where to begin or how to go about it, the HBR program is a great place to start. It offers tons of tools and resources that are easy to apply to everyday life, and the support you receive (not only during the bulk of the program, but continuing on after) has been essential in my own personal recovery. I was able to get the help I needed without uprooting my entire life. I am so, so grateful to Michael Walsh, as well as everyone else involved in the program.
