Chiropractor
Dr. Brenda is one of the few chiropractors in Delaware that is Webster Certified to treat pregnant women and their babies. The birth of her daughter Madelyn Jaymes allows Dr. Fairchild to fully understand the unique needs and concerns of her pregnant patients. While pregnant with Madelyn, she experienced a great deal of back pain.

Chiropractic care was the only treatment that effectively and consistently minimized her pain. For this reason, Dr. Brenda elected to treat women and their children. She is a member of International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the American Pregnancy Association, and I am proud to support the Chiropractic Cancer Foundation for Children by offering free chiropractic care for children with cancer. Locally, Dr. Fairchild is involved in the Blue Hen Parrot Head Club and also volunteers at the Emmaus House.

In Dr. Brenda's spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband Joe and their one year old daughter Madelyn Jaymes. They have three miniature dachshunds; Hunter, Mousse, and Sparky. Everyone enjoys going to the park to play and going for walks outside when the weather permits.

Dr. Brenda Fairchild is Board Certified as a Chiropractic Physician. Webster Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. For more information or to schedule and appointment, call 302-731-0869.

I have only been a patient of Dr. Brenda Fairchild for a few months but she has helped me out significantly. I am currently pregnant so I need a chiropractor who was Webster Certified. I went in with constant back pain to the point I couldn't walk or stand for more than 5 minutes without doubling over in pain or having to sit down. Now I can go through a whole day with no back pain!! Dr. Brenda is very friendly and full of information she even takes the time to talk to my kids, who by the way, absolutely adore her.

I visited Dr. Fairchild for constant pain in my lower back and within just a few visits was feeling significantly better! Her gentle nature, thorough attention, and ability to listen to her patients about their pain and injuries is what makes her an outstanding healer! I have and will continue to recommend her services to anyone who is truly seeking relief from spinal pain and discomfort!

I came to see Dr. Fairchild with severe back pain and sciatic pain. At 33 weeks pregnant I was not able to stand or walk for long periods of time. A basic grocery shopping run would cause me to rest all day. At 39 weeks I feel great. No more sciatic pain. My back feels strong. I'm able to walk for miles and still function with daily activities. Thank you so much. I feel so much better. Keep up the good work.

I have been coming to Spinal Specialists for a couple of months now, and have felt a tremendous improvement in my back pain. The office staff is wonderful, and Dr. Brenda is one of the nicest, most caring doctors you will ever meet. She will go out of her way and take the time needed to find out exactly what is wrong with you and plan to make you better! I highly encourage anyone who is in pain to come to Spinal Specialists.

At 18 weeks pregnant, I began experiencing sciatic nerve pain. Having previously experienced this in my last pregnancy, I thought I would just have to tough it out until delivery. After several weeks of pain, I mentioned it to my midwife and she recommended seeing a Webster Certified chiropractor. My search for a provider led me to Dr. Brenda. I had my first visit with her when I was 30 weeks pregnant.

After two visits my pain had improved tremendously and was essentially gone. I continued seeing her to make sure my alignment was maintained and the baby (previously breech) stayed in a good position. At 36 weeks though, he had other ideas and turned frank breech again. I saw Dr. Brenda that night and throughout the weekend and was able to avoid an external version scheduled for the following Tuesday (4 days after finding out he was breech again). The baby stayed Vertex from that point forward and all is well. Thank you Dr. Brenda for taking such good care of our new baby boy and me.

A successful all natural water birth of a healthy little boy at The Birth Center was my ultimate goal during my pregnancy in December. At 37 weeks I was told my baby was breech and unless I figured out a way to get him to flip into position, I would not be able to deliver there. My midwife had suggested for me to seek assistance from a chiropractor.

I had a few recommendations for doctors from friends, but I wanted to do some research of my own. After searching around online, I stumbled upon Dr. Brenda Fairchild, who to my surprise specialized in exactly what I was working for! At the end of my first appointment with Dr. Brenda, I knew I made the right choice. After visiting with her I knew that she genuinely cared about me and my baby.

She went above and beyond what you would expect from any physician. She gave me her personal contact information so I could contact her anytime the day or night. If I went a few days without getting in touch with her, she was calling me to make sure everything was okay. After three appointments with Dr. Brenda in my 37th week, she had successfully flipped my stubborn baby into the head down position.

I continued to see her throughout my 40th week just to make sure he stayed down, which he did. With my first child I had a horrible active labor phase, my contractions were unbearable and I pushed for well over and hour. My delivery was completely different and I contribute that to the sessions I had with Dr. Brenda. My labor was a breeze!! My contractions were manageable.

I pushed for about two contractions until little Bryson was born. Honestly it was painless! I didn't have any burning or tearing when I delivered him. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Brenda and Spinal Specialists of Delaware. I may not have had the water birth I hoped for but I did have a successful vaginal delivery! Thank you so much for all that you did to help me achieve that!
