When you look for new paths to follow, you need to have a qualified therapist who is dedicated to you and your long-term mental health. At the Life Mastery Center, our goal is to help you have a happier life by identifying negative behaviors and thought patterns that can interfere with positive mental health. Armed with that knowledge, Dr. Dean Kirschner can then help you develop strategies to help change your thoughts and behaviors. You can take control of your thoughts and behaviors before they take control of you.
Services
Since 1987, Dr. Dean Kirschner of the Life Mastery Center has helped individuals, couples, children, and families reach their goals and live happier, more productive lives. Dr. Kirschner wants his clients to learn how to take control of their thoughts and behaviors, and in turn, take control of their life.
Seeking help is the first and most important step toward improving your mental health. You have recognized that there is a problem and that it can be overcome with the help of a professional therapist. Individual psychotherapy or counseling is a collaboration between you and your therapist, with the goal of improving your quality of life.
What motivates your behavior? What causes you to act the way you do? Habits that have been learned or practiced since childhood may cause you to react to other people or situations in certain ways. You may overeat because of certain stimuli. You may feel good or bad about yourself as the result of old patterns.
Clinical hypnosis is a systematic process that puts your mind into a state of highly-focused attention. While in this state, your unconscious mind is much more open to processing suggestions to improve or change behavior. It is essential to understand that hypnosis is not something that controls you.

Not only does Life Mastery Center discriminate against their patients, specifically Dr. Kirschner, he literally will hang up on you when you inquire about their policies. Then he calls you back to tell you that you are not allowed to be a patient at their office even though they never even met me. They also refused further service to a family member that was a patient for no reason.

Most definitely stay away from an office that treats patients & potential patients with such arrogance & disrespect, it was a horrific experience & you should stay far away from businesses like this.

Therapists are supposed to listen to patients and offer guidance towards healing. I could barely get a sentence in when visiting this practice. My husband later went to see this doctor after his family started acting very abusive towards him and he told him "Maybe your parents are right". Therapists are supposed to listen to patients and offer helpful solutions but this one is way too full of himself to do that.

Dean is one of the most abusive therapists I've ever had. The emotional scars and damage to my family have subsisted for over 27 years. I've never been able to trust a therapist since. Being labeled a "Bad kid" and using scare tactics like a great value Dr. Phil accomplished nothing, beyond making me cold and callous to everything and everyone around me. Avoid taking your children here at all costs, especially if you're African American. I think Dean has a preconceived notion of who "we" are.
