Laura Roberts
Founder
Laura Roberts founded Yogaware in the late 1970s after developing the first Legband Shorts for her own yoga practice. She studied Iyengar yoga under Mary Palmer and Priscilla Neal, making three pilgrimage trips to India's Iyengar Institute.
Cindy Neam
Owner
Cindy Neam has managed Yogaware since 2008, bringing 25+ years of sewing expertise and Iyengar yoga practice. Daughter of founder Laura Roberts, she continues the family tradition of handcrafted product development while maintaining business operations.

Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship yoga clothing, belts, and DVDs internationally via First Class U.S. Mail. Delivery typically takes about 2 weeks but may vary due to customs processing.
Are your products made in the USA?
All our products are handcrafted in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We maintain complete quality control through our local production facility for all items except imported blankets.
What materials are used in your props?
Our foam props use high-density eco-friendly foam covered in durable corduroy. Sand bags contain precisely measured sand in reinforced fabric casings. All materials meet safety standards for prolonged skin contact.
Can I customize product sizes?
While we offer standard sizes, our handcrafted production allows for limited customization. Contact us directly to discuss specific size requirements for props or apparel items.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Individual item shipping costs appear during checkout. For multiple items, we calculate actual shipping costs after order placement based on weight and destination.

Sure enough, aesthetic of the Iyengar short is not important, that said, I enjoy a nice fit, and there are the best I have worn. On top of that, the quality is great, the comfort is great too. I didn't know which size to order, which Color, and Cindy was very patient. I definitely recommend her products. Thank you Cindy.

This is an excellent place for unique and functional yoga outfits, the have an unbelievable number of colors and styles.
