Business Details
We have served the Libertyville community since 1979 through our comprehensive holistic healthcare model. Our clinical team combines chiropractic orthopedics, naprapathy, acupuncture, and clinical nutrition into individualized treatment plans. Dr. Dan Young holds board certification in chiropractic orthopedics and has performed thousands of PINS procedures over the past decade. We integrate percutaneous iontophoretic needle stimulation with traditional manipulation to address chronic pain at its source. Our approach emphasizes patient education and team collaboration to achieve lasting resolution rather than temporary maintenance.
We tailor physiotherapy and nutritional protocols to each patient's unique biomechanical and metabolic needs. Our staff includes a registered nurse office manager, a corrective exercise specialist with 18 years of experience, and a licensed medical esthetician. We maintain memberships in the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists and the Illinois Chiropractic Society. Our facility operates Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons to provide focused, high-quality care sessions. We commit to transparent, evidence-informed practices that prioritize measurable functional improvement for every patient.

Services
PINS Therapy
PINS Therapy utilizes percutaneous iontophoretic needle stimulation to deliver targeted medication through the skin without injection. It serves patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain unresponsive to conventional treatments. Dr. Young has performed thousands of these procedures, achieving lasting pain resolution and functional improvement.
Chiropractic Orthopedics
Chiropractic orthopedics combines advanced spinal manipulation with orthopedic diagnostics to address structural misalignments and nerve interference. Our board-certified orthopedist tailors treatment plans for individuals seeking non-surgical resolution of complex joint and spine conditions. Patients experience measurable mobility gains and reduced reliance on pain medication through evidence-informed protocols.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture integrates traditional Chinese meridian therapy with modern orthopedic principles to stimulate natural healing responses. Dr. Young applies both Chinese and American techniques for patients with chronic pain, inflammation, and neuromuscular dysfunction. This approach reduces pain signals, improves circulation, and supports tissue repair without pharmaceutical side effects.
Clinical Nutrition
Clinical nutrition employs targeted dietary strategies and supplementation to correct metabolic imbalances that contribute to chronic inflammation. Our master's-level nutritionist designs personalized protocols for patients whose conditions are complicated by nutritional deficiencies or systemic stress. Optimized nutrition accelerates tissue healing, enhances immune function, and sustains the benefits of structural therapies.
Corrective Exercise
Corrective exercise addresses biomechanical dysfunction through individualized movement retraining and strengthening programs. Our specialist, with 18 years of experience, guides clients over 30 to restore optimal movement patterns and eliminate chronic weakness. Improved motor control reduces joint stress, prevents re-injury, and supports long-term functional independence.
